Lalaloopsy workshop 4 pack:  $27.47 (RSP:  $54.99)
Lalaloopsy Littles - Scribbles Splash:  $11.47 (RSP:  $22.99)
Lalaloopsy Littles - Twisty Tumbelina:  $11.47 (RSP:  $22.99)

All @ Toys r us

The sale was ending today, so I just had to check out one more.  This one is somewhat close to me, so curiosity got the better of me!

Plus, I decided I wanted that exclusive four pack.  I had so much fun putting together the other ones, I had to get this one too!

I really only wanted the bunny, but some of the other ones are ok too. I'm not crazy about them, so maybe I'll customize them.

I regretted not buying Twisty the last time I saw her, so I was happy to see her today.  I was pretty surprised to see Scribbles there, since she's one of the early ones and I've never seen her anywhere else.

Both of them were way up high (as in, impossible to reach without a ladder) so I'm sure that helped.

They had two other ones that I've seen at ALL of them so far (the mime and the hula girl), so I passed on them.  I don't like them as much, so I probably won't get them unless I have a gift card to use!

Roper - Leather military jacket:  $20 (RSP:  $275+)
Teacup piggy:  $2.99

Both @ Value Village

The belt was $3 at Penny Pincher:

$1 more than their other belts, but well worth it!  The original price sticker of $45 was still on it!  I wonder how old this belt is.  I don't know if it's ever been worn!

I didn't have high hopes for this Value Village, I haven't found any decent doll there in ages!  Surprisingly, I have found a lot of teacup piggies there.  There was even another one today, but it was priced at $3.99 for some reason.  Also, it was a colour I had so there was no point in buying it.

This one's way different than the other ones I have.  It must be a really early one because it says things my other ones don't.  The pig noises sound more realistic too...I prefer this one!

This one and the other one I picked up look new too, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it.  I have passed up two other used pigs already!  They just looked too beat up.

I'm pretty happy about the jacket.  It looks great on!  It has a lot of pretty pleated details that don't show up.  The leather is just so stiff though, I wish it were softer!  It doesn't look or feel like it's ever been worn.

I almost passed it up too!  When I saw it on the rack, for some reason, I wasn't very excited about it.  Thank goodness I came to my senses and tried it on!  Once I did, it was a no-brainer.

Black lace top w/floral and polka dot accents (RSP:  $13)
Red lace top w/floral and polka dot accents (RSP:  $13)
White engraved rose sleeveless top (RSP:  $12)
Coral engraved rose sleeveless top (RSP:  $12)

All $2.50 each @ Sirens

Plus the silver plate toggle belt that was $1, which probably retailed for $6.

I didn't even use a coupon!  I would have, but I hardly ever find enough to buy these days.  Which is good, since I don't want to be buying more than I want just to save a few bucks.

These all seemed worth it though.  The lace tops are pretty unique!  The top part has a polka dot design, the middle has a floral design, and the rest is plain.  It's solid at the front under the floral part, which is just at the bust.  It's quite pretty on!

I've eyed those engraved rose things at Sirens for a while, but I was waiting to see if they'd go any lower.  There was a $5 peplum I was thinking about buying, but these were even better!

They had a teal one too, but none in my size.  Just as well anyway, since they were all 2 for $5.

Disney Pook-a-looz - Mickey Mouse wobbler
Disney Pook-a-looz - Buzz Lightyear spinner

$1 each @ Toys r us (RSP:  $4 each)

This was an impulse buy.  I'm kind of a sucker for cute Mickey items, and this was priced right.  Plus, I do love wind ups, and I thought that Buzz had a neat look to him.

Well, I shouldn't have gotten either of them, since neither work that well and the novelty ran out right away!  The Mickey doesn't even have wind up action, I should have looked closer!

There was a walking Cinderella too, but I thought she was odd.  She pretty much had no head! She was practically a body with hair piece.

Lalaloopsy workshop dolls:  Clown/princess pack, Ballerina/Cowgirl pack, Sailor pack, Fairy pack, Bunny/nerd pack

$8.47 each for the single packs, $14.97 each for the double packs @ Toys r us

I couldn't help it!  I don't think they'll ever be half price again, and I'm really into these dolls.  I considered buying the clown/princess pack at target when it was $19, but now I'm glad I didn't.

The sailor was the one I originally wanted to buy, even if it was the only one.  I was going to get it at $11.44 at superstore, but then this sale came up!

I liked the other ones too, so I decided to get them.  Well, I didn't care for the ballerina but I really wanted the cowgirl so I bought that pack anyway.

I spent a lot more than I should, but these were even cheaper than they are in the US!  That hardly ever happens, and when it does, it's a big deal.

FM Canada - leather jacket:  $5
Jet jacket - Thick leather racing jacket:  $12.50

ML Collection Paris - Peach crochet detail skirt suit:  $9.99

All @ Value Village

The coats were half off because they have a winter sale this week, but the suit was full price.  It was so pretty though, and the price was reasonable enough...I decided to get it anyway.

I was so surprised about the $5 leather jacket!  I've never seen them this low there.  This one's actually in pretty great condition, it barely has any signs of wear!

The leather is soft and supple, plus it's a colour I don't already have.  It was a no-brainer!  It just has two small pen marks that I'm hopeful will come out.  Even if they don't, they're really not very noticeable.

The other jacket is such great quality!  It's the heaviest leather I own, plus it looks completely unworn.  I don't really like the patch, maybe I'll take it off.

Bag of dolls:  $1.99
Barbie Vespa scooter:  $1.99

Both @ Value Village

It was snowing hard by the time I was done, so I wasn't sure if I should go to another one.  I ended up doing that because it was so nearby...it seemed like it would have been a waste not to.

Well, I'm glad I did!  3 LPS Blythes in one day makes me very happy.  Too bad one of them is a double, but at least these two came with their shoes!  Boots are easy enough to stay on, but these aren't, so I'm glad to finally have some other type of footwear.  This is what came in the bag:

I don't like the first two dolls, but I'll keep their stuff for later use.  The second doll looks like an ugly version of strawberry shortcake, but her clothes are nice quality.

Turns out the line is called "Rosie's World" and this girl is named Lily.  It would be complete if she had her helmet:

Retail price was $15, which is decent.  This is a UK brand though, I've never seen them for sale here!

I like having vehicles for my dolls, and $2 is the price I'd want to pay for something like this.  It looked new after I cleaned it up so I'm satisfied.  They're still selling the same one in different colours for $30 at toys r us!  Of course that comes with a doll too, but I wouldn't have wanted it anyway.

Right now they're on sale for $15, which is decent.  Still, I'd much rather pay the price I did!  I just hope I find some realistic cars soon.  I did see some more bikes today, but the colours were just too garish and unrealistic.

When I was coming out of the parking lot, the ice slid the car further into traffic than I wanted!  That was scary, but I'm thankful nothing happened.  I wasn't in the way, but I was sticking out in a way that was verging on it.  Thank goodness for that!

Joseph Ribkoff - Versace-esque long ribbed dress w/metal lion head details:  $7.50 (6 days)
INC International Concepts - NWT Polka dot silk dress:  $10 (RSP:  ~$129)(4 days)

Both @ Talize
These were both more than I wanted to pay, but I ended up getting them anyway.  The first dress is fabulous!  I have so much JR stuff now.   What can I say....I really like their aesthetic.

Since I don't have any polka dots in my closet, I picked up the other one.  Well, it being silk and new with tags also cemented my decision.  If any part of that equation was missing, I probably would have left it behind!

I also left behind some great BCBG dresses that would have been $6.50 - $7.50 each.  They were both so well made and had neat ruffled/pleated flower details on them.

Sadly, they were strapless and looked totally ugly on me, so it was easy to leave them behind...even though they look wonderful on a hanger.

Originaux par Pablo - Beige leather jacket:  $10 (4 days)
Bag of toys:  $2 (3 days)
Blue knot buckle belt:  $1 (20 days)
Red silk silver plated belt:  $2 (4 days)

All @ Talize

I just can't help it, they always have great stuff here!  It was snowing, but I decided to go anyway.  After missing out on winners' final clearance, I just had to go!

I wasn't sure about the leather jacket, since I do have some that are a similar colour.  This one's a bit thicker and roomier, so I decided to get it.

That red belt is crazy!  It's pretty old, I'm not sure how old exactly...but the buckle has a patina to it, so it's at least silver plated!  The sash is made of silk too, so this must have been expensive.  I've never seen a belt that exquisite before!

The other one isn't very exciting in comparison, but since it was cheap and nice I picked it up.

What was in the toy bag.  An interesting note - the bigger doll with plastic shoes doesn't have any feet!  She has leg stumps...I thought that was hilarious.

Some stuff was out of the picture, but that's pretty much it.  I low how much stuff you get at Talize!  It's always 2-4 more times what you would get at Value Village, and their toys never go on sale.

I wanted the LPS blythe of course.  Finally!  I was going through kind of a drought recently.

The wardrobe is neat too, except the stickers really cheapen it.  Turns out it is cheap...you can get them on ebay for $3.50 shipped!  That's a great price for what you get.

That one is hot pink though, so it looks even cheaper!  I much prefer the colouring of mine.

It also came with this weird tiny baby attached to a high seat.  It's for a Kelly doll...there's a lever that moves the doll's arms up and down.  I've never seen anything like that before, but it came out in 1998.  It is pretty ugly, but I do like how small it is.

I also liked most of the figures, especially the rudolph and the LPS chick!  I don't normally care for littlest pet shop animals, but some of them are pretty great.

Monster High - Scaremester Jinafire Long (RSP:  $9.99 - $29.99)
Monster High - I love shoes Draculaura (RSP:  $5.99 - $24.99)
Monster High - Dead tired Robecca Steam (RSP:  $6.99 - $19.99)

Monster High - Frights, Camera, Action Draculaura (RSP:  $6.99 - $22.99)
Monster High - Frights, Camera, Action Clawdeen Wolf (RSP:  $9.99 - $22.99)
Monster High - 13 Wishes Draculaura (RSP:  $9.99 - $34.99)

$67.45 for all @ Amazon

Again, including shipping and customs!  That works out to $11.24 per doll, which would probably never happen here (unless they were all around at target clearance time!).  I made this order two days after the other one...these ones weren't on sale back then!

I got $4 of my customs fees deposit back on this one.  None of the prices went any lower, but these were all pretty rock bottom.  I was so surprised about that ILS Draculaura!  That's just insane.

To think...there would have been free shipping and no customs fees if I lived in the US.  Those lucky Americans!

Monster High - Classroom Ghoulia and Cleo (RSP:  $20 - $40)
Monster High - Picture Day Lagoona (RSP:  $8.99 - $29.99)
Monster High - 13 Wishes Howleen Wolf (RSP:  $10.99 - $29.99)
Monster High - Ghoul Spirit Frankie Stein (RSP:  $7.99 - $22.99)
Monster High - Scaremester Catrine Demew (RSP:  $9.99 - $29.99)

Monster High - 13 Wishes Frankie Stein x 2 (RSP:  $10.99 - $34.99 each)
Monster High - Picture Day Frankie Stein (RSP:  $9.99 - $29.99)
Monster High - Art Class Draculaura (RSP:  $9.99 - $29.99)
Novi Stars - Curl n' Coil Tily Vison (RSP:  $7.99 - $29.99)
Novi Stars - Curl n' Coil Roe Botik (RSP:  $9.99 - $29.99)

$140.16 for all @ Amazon

That's including shipping and customs!!  I've never seen a sale this low before on amazon, so I had to splurge.  That works out to $12.75 per doll, which would never happen here!

I ended up getting $20 back because the prices kept on changing a few days after, and I was able to get price adjustments.  Also, I got most of my customs fees deposits back, which was also great.

I just wish I didn't buy the classroom set, since I could have gotten them or $12 at Target afterwards.

I also wish I only bought one 13 Wishes Frankie...I didn't even know I ordered 2!  That was a mistake.

I'm happiest about the novi stars - these are the best ones yet!  Tily Vison is my favourite one ever.  I almost didn't buy the other one, but since I'd never have a chance to otherwise, I decided I might as well.  They were never sold in Canada!

I'm also happy that I finally have a Howleen and a Catrine.  I do want their other versions, but I probably won't buy them unless they go on sale.

I made this order on December 15.  It arrived a while ago, but I was too overwhelmed to blog about it!  I wonder if sales will be this good again at that time next year.

Novi Stars - Stellar skinz Cici Thru:  $15.93
Novi Stars - Stellar skinz Gail Lexi:  $15.90

$21.90 for both @ Amazon

I actually bought this in August of last year!  I never got around to blogging about it, so I thought I should before I forget how much I paid.

The price was lower because I used my swagbucks to get $25 off.  It would have been $47 otherwise!

That's still cheaper than retail price here...it used to be $30 each.  I really wanted them and didn't think they'd go on sale that low.

Well...now I wish I waited!  Right now they're actually $7.98 each!  That's a big difference, and I haven't even opened my other ones.

I was kind of considering buying them again to display in their different outfits, but I felt like I'd rather have different dolls.  I think I'm about done with the novis, especially since they probably won't be releasing any more.

The pod set is only $12.98 now too!!  I wish I waited on that.  What a steal...toys r us has had insane deals lately.  They were never ever that good before!  I paid $30 for mine a while back.

Now I feel like I should have gotten the doubles, but at the time I didn't want to be carrying too much stuff around.

If I see them, I'll probably get them again...but it's doubtful, since I've only seen them left at a really out of the way toys r us that I never go to.  Oh well!

Hello kitty miniature kitchen appliance lot: $2.04 (Highest:  $4.25)

Twin stars set of 10 plates:  $.99 (Highest:  $1.25)
Mickey mouse chara meshi mascot - food keychain set:  $.99
Mickey mouse chara meshi mascot - ramen/steak keychain set:  $1.29

All off eBay.

And all from that same seller.  I'm buying way too much from him these days!  Just about all of my recent wins have been from him.  I don't know how long he'll be listing, so I can't help myself.  Sometimes he doesn't list for months!

I wish I paid less for those mickey mouse keychains.  I could have gotten each of them for the bare minimum price later on!

It was still a good price, regardless.  The retail price for each keychain was almost $3 each!  The entire set of 12 is on ebay for $40 plus shipping...and I ended up winning 10 of them for $5.50 including shipping!

They had the crepe one as well, but I just didn't like it as much, especially since it came with the onigiri one again.  I just thought their other re-ment lots were more worth it, considering how much more stuff was in them.

Teacup piggies - Snowmobile set (white and beige pigs):  $4.98 each (RSP:  $20+ each)
Lalaloopsy littles - Fiery Flame doll:  $11.47 (RSP:  $22.99)

Both @ Toys r us

I came for the littles!  Once I heard that every Lalaloopsy item was half off at toys r us, I made the rounds to see what I could find.  Well, sadly, this is the only one I wanted.  There are two more I want to check out, but I'm not too hopeful about it.

This location was the only one I ever saw the snowmobile sets at though.  The last time I checked, they were $15...so regular price was probably around $30.  I did see them on the US walmart site for $20, so I'm sure they were more here.

Which is why I was surprised to see them for $5 each!  I couldn't say no at that price.

They also had a dark pink mom/baby set that I didn't already have, but I couldn't bring myself to pay $10 for it after seeing this.

Here's hoping I find more littles!  I never thought toys r us would ever be this cheap.  I'd like to find bundles snuggle stuff and a few others.  They sure have a bunch of the mimes every where I go!

I also wanted to buy the workshop dolls, but I didn't want to carry so much stuff around.  I saw them at every place I went, so I didn't think they'd be hard to find.  People don't seem to like them very much.  I just hope the ones I want are still at the other ones!

I was planning on just ordering online if I couldn't find them, but turns out shipping isn't exactly free.  It's only $20 off, which is stupid.  I'd have to pay $7 more, so I might as well just go to my store and pick them up instead!

Hershey's XOXO chocolate:  $.30 (RSP:  $2.99)
2 light up heart shaped rings:  $.30 (RSP:  $3)

Both @ Target

This one had even less!  The Hershey's wasn't there the first time I looked, so I'm glad I double backed.

These ones scanned in at full price too...what's with target??  It's annoying to have to bring it up all of the time.  I didn't this time, and they were going to charge me full price!

 Michael Brandon - Ribbed sweater:  $3 (RSP:  $24.99 - $55)

For Cynthia - Velour top:  $3 (RSP:  $24.99 - $68)
Philosophy blues original - Black satin cutout/studded shirt:  $2 (RSP:  $39.99 - $266?)

All @ Winners

This location always surprises me.  I always think it'll be the most picked over one, but I do end up coming away with something almost every time I visit.

The black shirt has some pilling that I need to shave off, but the others are in perfect condition!  I was surprised they were so low.

Looks like that's the end of it.  It was a pretty disappointing round!  I wonder if the next one will be any better.  I would have gone out again on the last day, but it ended up snowing!

La Dee Da dolls:  Runway Vacay Cyanne, Juicy Crush Cyanne, Runway Vacay Dee, Juicy Crush Dee:  $4.98 each @ Toys r us (RSP:  $16.99 - $19.99 each)

I saw the watermelon one at the last store I visited.  I was tempted then, but I didn't really want to collect too many doll lines.

Well, I started looking her up online, and I really wanted to get her!  I saw her again at another store, so I was sold.  She even came with my favourite doll in the line!  I thought the grapefruit themed one was so cool, down to her sparkly glasses.

I was surprised the other ones were on clearance too.  I regretted buying that french themed one, so of course I had to get her too!

I don't really like the outfit of the other one, but since she had great hair...well, you know how it goes!

I did leave behind two dolls, so I think I showed some restraint :P.  I'll probably pick up more of this line once the other nice ones go on clearance.

Gumballs with heart toy:  $.20 (RSP:  $1.99)
Gumballs with clanging dog toy:  $.20 (RSP:  $1.99)
Ausome - Betty Boop candy lip gloss:  $.12 (!) (RSP:  $1.12)

All @ Target

This is why Target's awesome!  You never see clearance prices this low anywhere else.  Their seasonal stuff always goes down to 90% after a while, and I'm always excited to see what I can find.

Of course, the selection is always tiny by that time.  I'm just glad I managed to find these!  I wouldn't have paid any more for them, but at this price, I couldn't resist.

The heart clip on changes expressions and waves its arms around at the same time.  It's silly but fun.  A lot of them wouldn't align properly, but this one works ok.

Stupidly, they all rung up at full price!  The cashier wanted me to pay full price for the Betty Boop, but thankfully she relented.  I should have taken one with a sticker, but I didn't think they'd hassle me so much!

I just thought the packaging was neat.  I'll probably dump out the candy and use it for something else!  I kind of wish I bought more at that price.

Jessica Simpson - Coral almond tights:  $.70 (RSP:  $7.99 - $16)

I wonder why gems like these get passed over.  It has such a pretty pattern on it and it's a great colour!

There was barely anything left, but luckily this was there for me!

Turquoise stone necklace:  $1.66 (BIN:  $5.69)
Gold leaf/garnet stone necklace:  $1.29 (BIN:  $3.60)
Red filigree style necklace:  $1.47 (BIN:  $4.99)

Silver double snake necklace:  $.99 (Highest:  $5)
Winged jewel heart ring:  $.43 (Highest:  $2.04)

All off eBay.

Pretty happy with all of these!  They took way longer to come than usual though...about a month and a half for most of them.

The ring was a lot cheaper in person, but I suppose it still looks alright.  I just thought it'd be way bigger!

Monday, February 17, 2014

Lalaloopsy littles - Whiskers Lion's roar doll:  $12.86 (RSP:  $22.99)
Cutie Pop fashion packs:  $1 each (RSP:  $9.98 each)

All @ Wal mart

And all free with my gift cards!  I don't really like cutie pops at all, but I can't say no to cheap doll clothes.  The style is pretty garish for my tastes, but I don't mind these kind of clothes for my Licca dolls.

I'm really into those Lalaloopsy Littles at the moment.  I still have another gift card, so I'm hoping to get at least 2 more!

Sunday, February 16, 2014

Gold metal bow belts/metal plate belt:  $1 each @ Sirens (RSP:  $5 - $6 each)

Can't go wrong with a $1 belt!  I actually considered buying those bow belts when they were half price, but now I'm glad I didn't.  This price was way more worth it!

It's hard to tell from the picture, but all of the metal is gold except for the solid black belt.  That one's silver.  It's nice to have variety!

Turns out the white one is actually real leather!  That was a total surprise.  I didn't think they ever sold real leather there!

The best one is the one with the slightly bigger gold bow.  That one's actually reversible!  One side is gold, one side is silver.  It's a neat concept.  That one was the most expensive one, and well worth it for the duality!  They should make all belts like that.

Teacup Piglets:  $2.98 each (RSP:  $9.98)
La dee da - Bun's closet figure - Top hat & Tails:  $.98 (RSP:  $7.98)

Both @ Toys r us

I was worried they might be sold out, but thankfully, they still had all of them left!  I ended up buying one of every colour they had left.

I didn't notice it before, but these ones have replaceable batteries!  6 out of 7 of my other ones didn't, which is why I thought all of them were like this.

Even though those ones were half the price, these are a better value. The other ones will be pretty boring once their batteries die out!

I ended up picking up a La Dee Da wiener dog figure.  The outfit reminded me of tuxedo mask's from sailor moon, and for a dollar, why not.

I can't believe the retail price was $8!  That's the kind of things they normally include with dolls...and I've gotten the dolls as low as $5.

The figure is super poorly painted too, worse than any I've seen for a non-dollar store line.  The promos are totally misleading, they had a ton there, and none of them were remotely close.  What were they thinking with that retail price??

It turns out they have a bunch of different ones, but mine only had this version.  I would have loved to find this one:

That's genius!

16 piece ferrero collection heart:  $5.29 @ Target

This seemed like a decent price, seeing as how I paid $4 for half as much!  This case was huge in comparison to the others, and I didn't already have it, so I thought it was worth picking up.  Plus, I love the chocolate!

If there's any more left when it's marked down again, I'll buy some more!

RVCA - Black lace "charming" dress:  $1 (RSP:  $19.99 - $59.50)
Dex - Rust orange knit shrug:  $2 (RSP:  $14.99 - $30)

Periwinkle ribbed tights:  $1 (RSP:  $4.99+)
Thick knit leggings:  $2 (RSP:  ~$10)
Symphony - Periwinkle pantyhose:  $1 (RSP:  $7.99 - $14.99)
Emilio Cavallini - Tassel print pantyhose:  $1 (RSP:  $7.99 - $14.99)
Bratzillaz Switch a witch:  $3 (RSP:  $14.99 - $19.99)

All @ Winners

I was surprised I found anything clothingwise at all, at the rates things were going!  I ended up giving the shrug to my mom.  I was surprised it was so cheap since there was nothing wrong with it!

The dress on the other hand was this cheap because there was a tear at the back.  I think it's fixable though, so I picked it up just to try.  For a buck, why not!

At least there was a ton of cheap hosiery.  I don't think the knit leggings are actually Calvin Klein, but $2 was a great price for them.

I'm happy I found the Bratzillaz doll for that cheap.  Now I can return the $5 one!

All @ Value Village

I'm starting to get really disappointed in this location - I hardly ever find anything good!  Gas is way cheaper in this area though, so I've been coming weekly to fill up.

I was happy about the teacup piggy.  I've always wanted a black one, but I could never find one in stores!  I wish he had his teacup, but for this price, no complaints.  He looks new!

I probably shouldn't have bought the furreal cat.  It's animatronic...meows, blinks, and moves it's legs and tail!  For $2, I couldn't help myself.  It's too bad it doesn't walk, I'm sort of regretting my purchase now.

I don't normally buy crappy seasonal stuff, but since I'm so big on pigs lately, it seemed right.  It oinks when you press it down...and it's realllly loud!  But I thought it was also adorable so I bought it.

Turns out it's from this season!  I saw one at walmart for $1.75 when it was half off.  Those ones were all broken though (the stand was missing from all two I bought!).

I saw a frog, and some other designs, but this was the best.  It was made by regal here, and their candy sucks so I didn't miss out on anything.  I would happily pay $1 just for the container, I don't think I would have found it at any of them for 75% off.

Found a tiny picture of them online:

The cow's pretty cute!  I probably would have bought him too, if I saw him.  Easter themed ones in the same style:

It's that cow again!  Gotta say, it makes more sense for Easter.  I don't like the other ones at all though...their heads seem a bit oddly proportioned.

Christmas gifts from a friend!  Anna Sui stuff always have such great packaging.  These are sold at the Bay for $15 each!

Belts:  $1 each @ Sirens (RSP:  $5 - $6 each)

The first one was a no-brainer, but I just picked up the second one in case I ever needed it.  Maybe I shouldn't have bought it, because it is the kind of belt that normally comes free with a dress!
