18K gold plated big heart collar necklace:  $4.06 off eBay (Highest:  $13.05)

I wish I didn't pay so much on this...I've seen it go for almost half the price recently!

I tried to win it for months so I decided to up my bid.  At least it's just as pretty in person.

I also got $5.42 back from paypal today.  Score!

Gold plated double butterfly bracelet w/red gems:  $2.26 (Highest:  $8.51)
Re-ment  - miniature disney food set:  $1.04 (Highest:  $4.25)
Gold collar w/fuchsia feathers:  $1.61 (BIN:  $5.99)

All off eBay.

I love this butterfly bracelet!  I wish I held out on buying the other one, this one's much better.

Black ruffle top w/chain straps:  $5 (RSP:  $19)
White ruffle top w/chain straps:  $5 (RSP:  $19)

Both @ Sirens.

Yep, these are the same style as the one I bought yesterday.  It was so flattering and sexy on, I had to go back for the other colours!

I was worried they might be gone, but luckily they still had them there.

I know I can get way better deals at Winners if I wait, but I just love the styles at Sirens!  These are versatile and timeless so I feel like they were worth it.

Playmates Allysen - interactive animatronic doll:  $4.99 (RSP:  $100)
Liv - 1st edition Sophie doll:  $1.99 (RSP:  $24.99)

Both @ Value Village.

I find the first doll pretty ugly, but I thought she was so cool!  Her face is rubber, and she even feigns emotion.  It's like my own creepy little robot!

She was reasonably priced, so I decided to get her.  She retailed for around $100, but she basically has no resale value..too bad.

I have a lot of Liv dolls now, so I'm trying to be picky when I see them.  They have to have their wigs and be $2 or under..thsi girl fit the bill!

She even has most of her original stock outfit, which sadly, I find really ugly.  Their style is a lot younger than the dolls themselves look.

There were two more that I left behind.  They were nude and bald, plus I didn't think their face paint was that interesting.  This girl's colours were so bright and cheery, I had to get her!

Black studded shoulder bodycon dress:  $8 (RSP:  $27)
Red studded shoulder bodycon dress:  $8 (RSP:  $27)
Red ruffle top w/chain straps:  $4 (RSP:  $19)

All @ Sirens.

This is why I love Sirens!  They have such great designs that sometimes go for reasonably cheap.

It was a no-brainer when I saw these three, though I decided to try them on first.   I'm really glad I got them when I did since they were gone a few minutes later!

Now I wonder if I should have gone even earlier.  On the first day they even had an extra 20% off!  I wonder if I could have used the coupon then, like I did this time.

Leatherette photo album w/brass latch
Barbie Fairytopia - Glowing Fairy Crystal

$1.99 for both @ Salvation Army.

Both impulse buys.  It was so cheap since I had a coupon!

I don't normally like playline barbies, but I do love glittery things that light up.  It was a no brainer for that price!  I didn't even know they had barbies this cool.

I've never seen an album like that either.  It opens up in a really neat way and the photos are displayed in a neat way too.  They're lined up one after another so you can flip through them vertically.

Sophie.b - pink bra w/black lace accents:  $3 (RSP:  $9.99 - $20)
Rene Rafe - pink zebra print bra:  $3 (RSP:  $7.99 - $16)

Both @ Winners.

Plus perfume samples and a copy of H&M magazine - finally!  I've figured out their distribution schedule.  I'll never miss an issue again...whereas before, I've only gotten one a year for the past few years!

I was really surprised to see such cheap bras at Winners today.  I even found a $2 one!  I tried on 5 but only walked away with these two...the zebra one was an afterthought.

I thought there'd be no way it would fit, but surprisingly, it fits better than the other one.

I looked at another Winners and it wasn't as good...I saw the same bras for $5!  I'm really happy I saw the ones above.

P&G Brandsampler:  free (of course!)
Gold studded engraved collar necklace:  $1.82 off eBay (Highest:  $10.50)
Big purple circle necklace:  $1.63 off eBay (Highest:  $5.19)

Better pictures of the jewelry:

I have so much jewelry now!  I'm going to have to be really judicial in the future.  Barring the stuff that's already in the mail, things will either have to be really unique, or just something that I have a burning desire for.

Re-ment miniature hinamatsuri lot:  $1.06 (Highest:  $3.83)
Re-ment miniature twin stars set (2 of them):  $1.29 each (Highest:  $5.23)
Re-ment miniature toy story/pooh set:  $1.25 (Highest:  $5.30)
Re-ment miniature food set:  $1.29 (Highest:  $6.50)

Purple swarovski crystal feather bracelet:  $1.75 (Highest:  $8.08)
Gold plated swarovski and red stone bracelet:  $1.56 (Highest:  $4.25)

$10 Wal-Mart gift card:  free from Tellwut
Chapman's pens: free

I think the love affair with this miniature seller has ended.  They didn't send me one of my orders and now they're ignoring me...it's already past the limit so I can't get my money back either.

I'm pretty cheesed.  There's still one more set other that I'm waiting for other than that.

A better picture of the miniatures:

I love the feather bracelet more than I thought I would.  Now I'm trying to win one in gold!

Gold plated butterfly bracelet:  $2.26 (Highest:  $7)
Silver snake swarovski crystal bracelet:  $2.06 (Highest:  $7.50)
18K gold plated diamante collar:  $2.50 (Highest:  $8.50)
Pink triangular collar with turquoise stone:  $1.75 (Highest:  $5.50)

All off eBay.

Pretty happy with this lot.  It took a while to win them, but I'm glad they were all pretty reasonably priced.

Honey Fashions - Green belted dress w/gold buttons:  $3.50
Sophisticate - Black blazer w/metal closure:  $4

Both @ Value Village.

I was pretty undecided on the dress, it is pretty 90's!  I'm glad I bought it though.  I think it'll look great with some alterations...even as is, it was better than I thought when I tried it on!

The other blazer is so neat.  The reason I love vintage clothing is because the styles are distinct and unique.  Plus, most of them were made in North America.  I bought this one because I liked the metal closure and the lion buttons on the inner shirt.

I actually have a suit from this brand - I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up with  more of their stuff in my closet!  Funnily enough, I bought that one from the same location as this one.

Vintage brown textured shell lucite purse:  $5
Patent leather embossed crocodile texture purse:  $5
Ruched khaki blouse w/off shoulder cuffs:  $3

All @ Value Village.

Great haul from this one!  My heart skipped a beat when I saw that plastic purse...I love those!  I hardly see them.

There wasn't a tag on this one, but I found one on the floor where the purse was (...which was also on the floor).  It was pretty pricey, so I thought it was right.

Luckily they didn't give me any hassles about it, though they probably would have if the price were more reasonably priced.

The other purse wasn't that exciting, I passed it up when I saw it at full price.  I didn't realize it was real leather at that time though.  I don't have many patent leather bags so it was a no-brainer.

I also liked the style..it had two front flaps, which I hadn't seen before.

I actually wonder if it might be real crocodile skin now!  I was doing research (for another bag, ironically) and I noticed that this one has what looks to be pores all over.

Still, it needs a little extra oomph.  I'm planning on studding the front..that would make it an awesome addition to my wardrobe!

I loved the design of the khaki blouse, so I took it home even though it was pilled a little bit.  Sadly, it doesn't look great on me, but I'm hoping it'll look better after I lose some weight.

T. Babaton - Tinsley silk blouse:  $2 (RSP:  $98)
Red trapezoid purse w/loop lock closure:  $2.50

Both @ Value Village.

I love half off days!  They didn't have one last month, so I was extra looking forward to this one.

There were a ton of things I left behind. Including these awesome shoes that were comfortable at first, but not so much later on:

I hate having such wide feet!  That one was already wider than most...too bad.

The things I did buy were in like new condition and just awesome.  The silk blouse is pretty plain, but how can you say no to $2 silk?

I didn't know it was such a steal until after I came home.  These are still being sold in stores, and people try to sell them used for $50!  An official photo of the shirt in a different colour:

The purse isn't leather, but at least it looks it.  The style was so neat, it looked new, and it was cheap...that's a winning combination to me.

12 x Lace underwear: $.63 each @ EFADS (RSP:  $1.25- $2 each)

It would have been $18 for all of them at full price!  I ended up paying a bit over $7.

I think all of these chains are closing down...it's kind of sad.  I'm glad I didn't pay full price for these, but now I'm kicking myself for paying $1 each!

Most of the ones I bought last time were still there...only 3 of them weren't.

Even then, that's just the specific colour, they still had the same styles there!  Would have saved myself $3 if I waited until now.

I really love the one with the little hearts.  That wasn't there last time.  All of these are pretty cute, I wouldn't have thought they came from a dollar store if I didn't buy them myself.

Things are down to 8 items for $5...if it goes even lower, I might buy more!

Multicolour wing necklace:  $2.26 (Highest:  $10)
Gold collar w/hanging rivets plus earrings:  $2.06 (BIN:  $7.64)
Gold plated two tiered rhinestone necklace:  $1.75 (Highest: $5.50)
Hot orange studded collar: $1.73

All off eBay.

I don't know what I was thinking when I bought that orange collar - it's horrible in person!  I don't think I could make it work with any outfit....at least the other ones in this lot worked out.

Friday, November 16, 2012

Burnished gold collar w/wavy cut outs:  $1.56 (Highest:  $13.13)
Set of 12 miniature pepsi bottles w/case:  $1.29 (Highest:  $4.38)
Coral half cloud collar w/gold rivets:  $1.04 (Highest:  $4)

All off eBay.

Lots of great deals in this lot.  I really need to find a decent way to display all of this eBay jewelry I've been getting - it's addictive!  It's practically the same as the stuff I can get here, except a fifth of the price (or less)!

P&G holiday sampler - pretty much the same stuff as always, but I'm not complaining!  The full size air freshener is a great inclusion.

Also snuck in a tiger balm sample I got a few days ago in the mail.  I never thought those would go mainstream.

Thursday, November 15, 2012

Gold filigree collar necklace:  $1.75 off eBay (BIN:  $7.91)

Finally!  I've been trying to win this necklace for over a year, and I managed to go below my max.

This necklace is so gorgeous!  I actually saw it in person at Urban Behaviour before, but I didn't see the price.  It was probably at least $10 there.

Wednesday, November 14, 2012

18K Gold plated eagle bracelet w/red and gold swarovski crystals:  $2.26 (Highest:  $6)
18K Gold plated eagle bracelet w/multicolour swarovski crystals:  $2.26 (Highest:  $4.78)
Silver wing bracelet:  $1.40 (Highest:  $6.50)
Huge silver rose bracelet w/purple swarovski crystals:  $2.26 (Highest:  $6+)

All off eBay.

I really love the first eagle bracelet, but I'm not too fond of the multicolour one.  I didn't think I'd win both, but I didn't want to stick around for the end of the first auction.

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

Gold plated cubic necklace:  $2.14 off eBay (Highest:  $8.50)
$10 Wal-Mart gift card:  free from Tellwut

I wish I found out about Tellwut sooner!  It's definitely the best awards site around, when it comes to redeeming prizes quickly anyway.

A better picture of the necklace:

It looks way better in the picture!  I wasn't too impressed with it in person.

UXL - Red military blazer:  $6.50
Blush - Pink stripe bustier w/boning:  $2.50

All @ Talize.

That blazer took my breath away!  It's just perfect...the fit, the style, everything!  I'm so in love with the cuffs and collar.  I didn't even hesitate when I saw the price.

I'm not sure how old it is, probably circa the 90's since the tags are vintage and it was made in Canada.

I was a bit unsure on the corset, but since I really liked the design, it was like new, and super cheap, I bought it.

The line up was sooo long this time!  The longest I've ever seen, anywhere....it was all the way back to the toy section.  At first I thought that was the line up for the CHANGE room, it was THAT bad!

I think I was in line for half an hour....there's a half of sale next week but I don't think I'll come.  It's only on two tags, and I'd rather to go Value Village's sale!

Zara - brown silk halter top w/rosette detailing:  $10 (RSP:  $100+)
XSYD - NWT purple chiffon top w/pearl and lace detailing:  $4

All @ Talize.

I really didn't want to pay that much for the dress, but it's that flattering, flowing, halter style that I love.  Plus, it's silk and an expensive brand...I decided it was worth it in the end.

I was unsure about the other top.  I really don't like the colour that much.  I like the style, but it could go either way since I didn't try it on.

Since it was new with tags, I decided to get it.  I hope that wasn't a mistake!

Burgundy eelskin purse:  $4
Big snakeskin purse:  $4
Bag of dolls:  $2

All @ Talize.

It was half off day - of course I had to go!  Last time I didn't find much, but it was a different story this time.

I normally like more structured bags, but since these ones were bigger I didn't mind.

The styles were somewhat simple, but since the materials were so luxe I had to pick them up.  Especially the snakeskin bag, it was a steal for one that huge!\

Also bought a bag of dolls.  I only bought it for the nude Liv doll, but it turns out the wig belongs to a moxie teen doll...those are kind of crappy quality.

I wish it was a Liv wig, but at least the girl is the last character I needed to complete my set.  There was also a flight attendant suit that I thought was sort of neat, though it is on a cheapo doll.

*edit*

Turns out the snakeskin purse is actually embossed leather.  It took me a while to realize that!

3 row 7-8mm freshwater pearl necklace w/huge gold plated crystal flower:  $6.07 (BIN: $26)
Green/gold stud necklace:  $1.04 (Highest:  $3.75)
Three tiered green/gold arc necklace:  $2.06 (Highest:  $5.05)
Gold claw necklace:  $1.56 (Highest:$4.26)

All off eBay.

I'm really happy about the pearl necklace - it was such a steal!  I've been trying to win one like that for years.  It's gorgeous and great quality.

9 Monster high dolls:  $110 for everything shown

From L-R:  Core Frankie Wave 1
                    Core Ghoulia Wave 1
                    Core Draculaura Wave 1
                    Core Lagoona Blue Wave 1
                    Core Clawdeen Wave 1
                    Dawn of the dance Frankie
                    Dawn of the dance Clawdeen
Clawd Wolf and Draculaura Forbidden love gift set

Plus, two nearly complete Day at the Maul outfits and 8 pets total.

I guess this wouldn't really be considered cheap, but it'd be at least twice as much if I paid crazy ebay prices for them.  They all retailed for around $20-$30 each here (which is stupidly way more than the states).  I got these from a local collector.

Seeing them in person, I was totally floored!  They're so gorgeous...fun, colourful, and funky.  I am so in love with them.

They're way better than the basic dolls I've gotten so far.  Right now those ones retail for around $15, whereas ones like the above retail for twice that.  It stands to reason that there's a difference in outfit quality between the two.  Now I feel like I want more!

Schmid - Musical porcelain sitting doll with rotating head:  $3.99 @ Value Village

I really grappled with buying this.  I spent so long just standing there and watching her!  I thought she was so adorable...everything from her face to her head movement.

It's just that I knew she wasn't that old, and she seemed mass produced and not great quality.  If she were vintage, then I wouldn't have hesitated.

She doesn't even have a real body!  It's cloth and styrofoam in the middle, plus those cloth feet look so dumb.  They really should have given her porcelain feet to match her hands.

I ended up coming back for her.  She was just so darling!  I've never seen anything like her before, and the price wasn't that bad (could have been way better though), so I bought her.

Turns out she was made the same year I was, and pretty much has no resale value.  People seem to try to sell them for $10 with no bids.  I did find one ended etsy listing, I wonder how much that one went for.

Well, I thought mine was the cutest anyway o:).

Wilsons - Adventure bound - Leather frame clutch messenger bag:  $2 @ MCC Thrift Store (RSP:  At least $120, looking at their website)

This bag was such a steal!  It was half off, all of the purses were today.

Regular price still would have been great, but oddly, I don't think I would have picked it up.  I'm just too cheap for my own good.

It was in really great condition too, almost like new.  A similar one (construction, size) went for $37 in this condition!

I like the design.  It's simple, but it's not like anything else I have.

I bought it because I don't have any other bags that close with a frame clutch...I had this one but I gave it away because I didn't like the material.  No problems of that kind with this one!

I was interested in this one as well:

Gee, it actually looks great in the picture!  In person, I thought it as just way too big and clunky to wear like that.  Maybe if it were thinner.....but looking at that picture again, I might want it as is!  It was only $3!

Monster High - Skull shores Draculaura
Monster High - Skull shores Lagoona Blue

$12 each $6.88 total @ Superstore (RSP:  $14.99-$19.99 each)

This wasn't that great of a deal, especially compared to the last one I got.  It's only a few dollars less than their last regular retail price...which has shot up  recently.

It's completely ridiculous, considering that these dolls RETAIL for $12.99 in the states!  That's hardly a sale in comparison.

Anyway, I really liked these two girls so I decided to use my last PC points on them.  I sure wish I didn't waste $40-$60 of my other points on junk food!  If I had more points, I probably would have gotten the rest of the set...they were actually there, except for the guy doll.

I only have 5,000 points left now...you need 20,000 to redeem...it'll probably be at least a year before I can redeem again, so my next dolls will be from Wal-Mart!

Samplesource - wow, I wasn't expecting so many full sized freebies!  It's a nice change from P&G Brandsamplers, which basically have the same thing all the time.

This one has food too, something I don't remember the other one ever having.

Barbie Collector / Victoria's Secret catalogs (free of course, though some people do charge for them)
Lot of 13 doll shoes:  $.99 off eBay (Highest:  $3.29)

The shoes are cute, but I was expecting another pair of clear green boots like the ones I previously bought.  In fact, that's why I bought the lot!  Here was the picture in the auction:

It didn't say things were random.  It says everything would come the same as the picture.  I did get every other style (though in different colours shown in some cases), so I'm kind of annoyed I didn't get a pair of boots.

I'm wondering if I should say something..

Wednesday, November 7, 2012

Salmon pink lucite stones 9K gold plated necklace:  $1.97 (Highest:  $6.94)
Circus style gold plated collar w/green dots:  $2.06 (Highest:  $7.76)
Circus style gold plated collar w/hot pink dots:  $1.94 (Highest:  $11)

All off eBay.

The collars are a lot nicer than I expected...I just don't like the colours that much.  I might paint them later on.

I was also supposed to get this bracelet, which I won for $1.66:

But I got this one instead:

I really don't like it.  I hope they give me a refund.  I don't even need them to send me the right one, since I don't like it as much this time around.

Orcara - Miniature cake/strawberry puff set:  $1.06 (Highest:  $4.29)
Orcara - Miniature cake/heart cookies/heart shaped box:  $1.06 (Highest:  $4.25)
Orcara - Miniature sweets in a heart shaped box/coffee:  $1.06 (Highest:  $4.25)

Orcara - Miniature fast food meal w/toy:  $1.06 (Highest:  $$2.75)
Orcara - Popcorn chicken meal:  $.99 (Highest:  $2.95)
Orcara - Chinese food court meal:  $.99 (Highest:  $2.30)

Re-ment - Sushi lot:  $1.29 (Highest:  $5.78)
Re-ment - Toy story miniature lot:  $1.25 (Highest:  $5.50)
Orcara - Miniature fried chicken set:  $1.06 / $1.30 (Highest:  $3.75)

All off eBay.

I haven't bought miniatures in a while, but this one seller changed that!  They were selling new sets for lower than retail...so low, it was up my alley.  Most of them were around $1, whereas they would have been $4 plus shipping anywhere else!

The re-ment lots might not be full sets, but they were pretty fun.  All of the Orcara ones are new in package though...such a steal.

The toy story one was such a great deal too!  There were over 50 pieces in that lot alone...the little army men are so fun.  There were only a couple of them in the original set, I would have had to buy so many of them to get this amount!

Tuesday, November 6, 2012

Gold / red triangular collar:  $2.06 (Highest:  $13.50)
Black rhinestone claw ring:  $1.04 (Highest:  $2.75)
Miniature re-ment tableware set:  $.99 (Highest:  $2.47)

All off eBay.

I've got a bunch of those triangular collars now - they're just so nice!  My favourites are the ones with a stone in the middle.  I've got a pink one like that coming in the mail.

The miniatures are great, but I think the seller left one out of my package.  He said it was shipped separately, but tracking says otherwise...I really don't think I'm going to get it.

Monday, November 5, 2012

Black lucite heart / 18K gold plated chain statement necklace:  $3.60 off eBay (Highest:  Recent history says $12.50...though I've seen it go for nearly $20 before!)

I really wanted this necklace, so I was willing to pay a bit more for it.  I tried to win it for around $3 for over a year, so I decided to up my limit.

Now I wish I didn't.  Just recently, a bunch of them ended around $2!  Ain't that always the way.

Anyhow, it arrived broken, so I'm hoping the seller will refund me a dollar or so. I would need to buy parts to fix it.

I'm also waiting for a white one which sadly, I paid even more for.  Also an orange one I won recently for a decent price.  Darn you ebay!  You are really bad for my jewelry addiction.

*edit*

Wow, they ended up giving me a full refund, even though I was ok with a partial one.  That's great customer service!

Sunday, November 4, 2012

Pink satin pearl gloves:  $2 (RSP:  $7.99)
White satin pearl gloves:  $2 (RSP:  $7.99)
Dark green feather / white lace covered gem belt:  $2.50 (RSP:  $9.99)
Simple pleasures - spooky sugar frosting scented soap in ghost shaped bottle:  $1 (RSP:  $3.99 - $8 (at Kohl's!)

Lot of Polly Pocket pieces (~240):  $2.99
My Scene doll:  $1.99

All @ Value Village.

I really wasn't expecting much from the 75% off sale (especially since I didn't go early), but to my surprise, almost everything from before Halloween was still there!

I didn't buy any costumes because they're always such crappy quality.  I'd feel dumpy wearing them.  The above I'd actually wear in real life...they're gorgeous!  Especially that belt.

They all look like normal quality, which is probably why they were priced so high.  I actually found a picture of it on their website:

I also thought about buying this paper/wood geisha umbrella - it was only $2.50!

I thought it was actually really nice quality for a costume piece, but the illustration could have been better.  In the end, I didn't think I would use it.  Ditto with those pearl gloves in blue (they were so gorgeous).  Go me!  Getting marginally better with money.

I don't collect Polly Pockets, but the bag had at least ten pair of shoes that fit minis (no other company makes them, that I know of).  I saw that those accessory sets retail for around $30, so I feel like I got a steal!  The one I saw only had 4 shoes too.

Those things are so tiny, kudos to the kid who managed to keep them all together!

As for the My Scene doll...I just wanted the boots.  They're pearlescent and so pretty!

I grappled with paying $2 when that was the only thing I wanted, but in the end, I decided to get them.  Turns out someone else was willing to pay $6 for the boots alone, so I feel way better about it!

2 x Textured (one red snakeskin, one black squares) clutch wallets w/ straps
8 x Lace underwear

$1 each @ EFADS (RSP:  $2 each)

It's pretty bittersweet.  The two EFADS near me are closing down, so they're having a 5 for $5 sale.  I took this opportunity to buy all of the things I was sort of eyeing, but didn't want to pay full price for.

Not that I ever thought they would go on sale.  I just thought that maybe I could find it online cheaper.

Even though I don't like thongs much, I had to get the leopard one!  I always thought that one was so cute, and was tempted at full price.  Of course, now I'm glad I didn't buy them!
I probably could have gotten the rest online (sans the wallet) for the same or cheaper, but I thought these were all really cute and decent quality.  The same kind you'd pay $4+ for at a place like Zellers.

Well, RIP EFADS!  I've gotten a lot of decent stuff from you over the years, but Dollarama really does what you do better.

Secret wishes - Wire print tights:  $1.23 (RSP:  $4.92)
Metallic gold hockey mask:  $1.23 (RSP:  $4.92 - $8.29 (!))

Both @ Wal mart.

75% off Halloween stuff!  Last year, it was only 50% off for the longest time.  By the time it was that high off, there was barely anything left, so I'm glad they started earlier this year.

Not extraordinary deals, but I thought they were pretty neat.  I'd definitely use the tights...for Halloween...and maybe in my every day life!  There were some more that I was considering, but I didn't think they were as versatile as these ones.

The mask...I don't think I'll ever wear it, but I love shiny chrome things.  I thought I might use it as a decoration of sorts.

A better picture of it:

Also shown is the glow stick gun I left behind.  It would have been $.50.  I thought the concept was neat, but that it wasn't worth it in the end.
