The jackets were an amazing deal-they're gorgeous and pretty high quality.  I ended up winning extras so I'll just pass them on to friends.

Lingerie set:  $2.25
Face ring:  $1.62
Flower cameo ring:  $1.62
Set of 10 fabric flower rings:  $2.25

The flower cameo is gorgeous!  The rest I'm not as crazy about.  I should probably take more time to ruminate before pressing that enticing 'click to bid' button.

ark & co. - Leopard chiffon dress:  $3 (RSP:  $49.99-$100)

I'm not too crazy about all of the pink splashes, but I love the style...and I have a penchant for all things leopard print.

Pink is my favourite colour, but not for wearing...and I really don't like my leopard print diluted!  I might return this one, I haven't decided yet.

I picked this up right at closing time.  I wasn't planning on hitting up this location since previous visits had been unfruitful...I didn't notice anything desirable a few days ago, so I really didn't think it would have anything left on the last day.  Since I was in the area, I decided to check it out.  There were literally 5 items left-I was surprised I was interested in any of them!

So ends this season's final clearance.  Surprisingly, it was really picked over this time...the selection was probably half that of last year's.  Still, I'm ecstatic for next year's-the countdown commences!

Trixxi - White satin dress:  $2 (RSP:  $29.99-$60)
Soprano - Blue tulle dress:  $3 (RSP:  $34.99-$60)

Poetry clothing - White tulle top:  $.70 (RSP:  $16.99-$40+)
Poetry clothing - Pink tulle top:  $.70 (RSP:  $16.99-$40+)

five by 5simon - Leopard top:  $2 (RSP:  $16.99-$34)
Buffalo by David Bitton - Black chain tank:  $1 (RSP:  $16.99-$89)
Simply Irresistible - White crochet tank:  $1 (RSP:  $19.99-$35)

It was a pretty satisfying haul from this location.  I was almost too lazy to go, I was so tired yesterday-I'm glad I changed my mind!

I was actually planning on going to this location second, but went here first due to a random turn of events.  Well, it was more like I got lost, so I went here first since it ended up being on the way.  I wonder if any of this would have been left if I didn't arrive the time I did-hooray for serendipity!

Incidentally, the one I planned on visiting first was a huge letdown.  Oh well, live and learn.

Ripe- Pink/black dress:  $2 (RSP:  $29.99-$45+)
Ripe - Blue/black dress:  $1 (RSP:  $29.99-$45+)

Coupe Collection - Blue chiffon zebra print dress:  $.70 (RSP:  $29.99-$50)
Jantzen - Red swimsuit:  $2 (RSP:  $29.99-$86)

Behave - Pink top:  $.70 (RSP:  $19.99-$38)
Bensimon collection - Black flats:  $.70 each (RSP:  $39.99-$75)

This location literally had one tiny rack left when I arrived.  I'm not too crazy about any of these things, but I picked them up because I thought they would be useful.  A lot of them didn't end up looking as good as I hoped, so most will be given away/returned.

The flats aren't really that appealing (most aren't anyway), but how can you say no to that price!   Some flats are really crap quality, but these seem decent.  They a bit like canvas tennis shoes.

The swimsuit was the best item from this location-it's such amazing quality, and I love the style as well.  I just have to take it in a little since it's not my size.

Zebra print dress was horrendous-I don't know what I was thinking!  Ok, I thought I might be able to salvage it somehow, but even I can't seem to find a way to do that.  What a shame, that price is incredible!  I might feel a little silly when I return that item.

Clientele - Rosette top:  $2 (RSP:  $24.99-$45)
Pretty good - Ruffle front top:  $2 (RSP:  $14.99-$30)

Almost Famous - Brown tank top:  $.70 (RSP:  $14.99-$28)
Dollhouse - Jean shorts:  $2 (RSP:  $14.99-$30)

I love those shorts, but I wasn't sure if I could fit into them since they're a girl's size 16.  I really liked how they looked, so I was willing to risk it for the price.

Turns out they do fit, but very unflatteringly...I'm not wearing those out in public until I'm several pounds lighter!  Definitely a must keep though.

The other things are just for normal every day use...I don't particularly love any of them.  I'm really going to have to do a deep closet purge to make way for all of this!  It's nice to have a new wardrobe every year.

Pleather dress:  $2.02
Lace babydoll:  $2.25
Red flower ring:  $1.61
Set of two flower/pearl rings:  $.99
Sequin top/skirt:  $2.56
Crochet blue tank:  $2.03
Flower cameo ring:  $1.61Black lace socks:  $.60
Heart necklace:  $1.06

All off Ebay.

Eh...I probably shouldn't have bought half of this stuff.  At least most of the rings ended up being gorgeous.

Poetry Clothing - Leopard chiffon dress:  $3 (RSP:  $29.99-$50+)
Ripe - Strapless chiffon dress:  $1 (RSP:  $19.99-$35)

Poetry Clothing - Beige ruffle dress:  $3 (RSP:  $24.99-$40+)
Queen Esther - Grey ruffle dress:  $1 (RSP:  $19.99-$40+)

Poetry Clothing - Pink gathered dress:  $3 (RSP:  $24.99-$40+)
Max Studio - Purple dress:  $2 (RSP:  $39.99-$118)

Chapter one - Gingham dress:  $2 (RSP:  $39.99-$65)
Solitaire by Ravi Kosla - Grey gathered skirt:  $3 (RSP:  $24.99-$48)

The thing I most look forward to when final clearance rolls around-getting more pretty dresses to add to my collection!  I'm always secretly disappointed when it doesn't happen-luckily for me, this year was the best one yet!

I am so in love with both of the dresses in the second picture-it doesn't do them any justice!  They are so beautiful on a 3D form.  The beige one is one of my favourite dresses, period.  The other one, I love how it can be used for both dressy and casual occasions due to the fabric.

I like the pink gathered dress, but only enough to pay the price it was at.  I was hoping it would go down further (I would have preferred that), but I didn't want to risk missing out.

The purple one I don't like that much-the exorbitant original retail price is what swayed me the most.  It's an ok dress to wear on occasion, I'm sure I'll find some reason to wear it.

I wasn't sure about the gingham dress-it's huge, I need to resize it.  I thought I might return it, but I actually think it can be really cute once it's fitted.  I like the unique collar design.

The skirt is gorgeous-I just wished it was cheaper!

The dresses in the first picture I might just return/give away.  I thought I'd love the pink leopard one, but strangely, I'm just not feeling it.  I really like the skirt design, I don't have any others that have such flowing leaf like ruffles...maybe it's mostly the colour I don't like.  I prefer light pink.

I'm really alarmed that I don't have to resize a lot of these dresses-I fully expected to since most of them are a large, and I normally take a small.  Oh you zany clothing lines and your inconsistent sizing (the primarily elastic design also pays a part, probably).

Kenar - Ruched shirt:  $2 (RSP:  $19.99-$32)
DesignHistory - Rosette shouldered shirt:  $2 (RSP:  $19.99-$38)

Simply Irresistible - Pink tank:  $2 (RSP:  $19.99-$38+)
Ali & Kris - Pink plaid top:  $1 (RSP:  $14.99-$28)

Poetry - Lace top:  $2 (RSP:  $19.99-$40+)
Zenana Outfitters - Blue lace tank:  $2 (RSP:  $9.99-$15+)

Bluheaven - Pink one shoulder top:  $1 (RSP:  $14.99-$30+)
Pure & Simple - Pink knotted top:  $1 (RSP:  $19.99-$40+)

I absolutely love the shirts in the first picture, but was undecided about the rest.  Since Winners has a great return policy, I always end up just buying everything even if I have doubts.

The tops in the second picture I'm not too crazy about, but I think they'll be fine for casual summer wear.

I don't normally like that colour of blue, but the lace tank is so flattering!  The other lace top is kind of ugly as is, but I think it would be gorgeous once it's more fitted.

I actually love the design of the last two shirts, but I just hate hot pink!  It looks so tacky, I'm even starting to dislike the colour on purses and accessories.  I think I'll probably just give them away, there's no use returning them for that price!  It's really too bad, they are actually quite flattering on...maybe I'll keep them, just in case the mood to wear that colour hits me.

Rosette tank top:  $1 (RSP:  $19.99-$30)

Almost Famous - Striped one shoulder top:  $2 (RSP:  $14.99-$30)
Ali & Kris - Black top:   $2 (RSP:  $16.99-$34)

Jonathan Martin - Green halter:  $2 (RSP:  $19.99 - $38)
Carol Rose - Purple rosette tank:  $1 (RSP:  $16.99-$30)

American Heritage - Plaid shorts:  $2 (RSP:  $12.99-$37)
Impo stretch - Peep toe shoes:  $2 (RSP:  $39.99-$65+)

I'm so glad this round wasn't a letdown!  I hadn't found anything worthwhile thus far, so I was incredibly happen when I stumbled onto this location.

The first top is my favourite-it's gorgeous!  I can't believe I debated buying it.  Of course, when I picked it up it was $3...it didn't end up scanning for some reason, and the cashier made it a new (cheaper!) price tag.  Yay!  The same thing happened for the purple rosette tank and some of the other items.

I don't normally like green, but I thought it was an interesting style.  My distaste for the colour almost prevailed, but I'm so glad I didn't-it looks so good on!  I was pleasantly surprised.

The plaid shorts are actually the largest boys size they make-it fits fine, but I'll probably make the legs more fitted.  Either that, or give them to my brother.

I just couldn't pass up $2 shoes in my size...but I'll be returning them in the end.  They're not exceedingly comfortable, and I already have similar shoes that are infinitely better than they are.

Poetry clothing - tulle top:  $3 @ Winners (RSP:  $16.99-$40)
Flocked butterfly notebook:  $1.50 @ EFADS
Mario Serrani -  floral chiffon skirt:  $2 @ Winners (RSP:  $39.99-$65)

I didn't really like the clothing above as is, but I thought they had potential.  I'm planning on gathering/tucking in the excess tulle on the top-as for the skirt, I think it would look better as a top.

I thought the notebook was a buck when I picked it up-it doesn't really seem like it's worth more than that. Since I loved the design (and spent an ungodly amount of time picking out the best one), I ended up buying it anyway.

Nurse lingerie set:  $1.09
White padded bandeau bra:  $1.91
Dusty rose lingerie set:  $2.47
Black lingerie set:  $1.87
Pink lingerie set:  $2.06
Cheongsam lingerie set:  $2.04
Blue snakeskin clutch:  $5.77

All off Ebay.  A lot of these arrived much faster than expected-only around a week for some of them!  Normally it takes a month.

Red bustier top:  $3.44 @ Ebay
Sheer button up top:  $1.56 @ Ebay
Corset:  $7.35 @ DinoDirect (RSP:  $51.73)
Black corset dress:  $9.65 @ TomTop
White corset dress:  $9.64 @ TomTop

I'm really disappointed with the corset.  I thought it would be a costume as pictured above, I was pretty annoyed it was misrepresented so much-the material and colour don't match up either!  It was listed as silk, but it feels like jacquard.  The colour on all of my screens was a yellowish hue, but it ended up being a surprisingly champagne rose in person.  I'm going to complain, but I really doubt they'll do anything.  The quality is better than expected, but it's more than I wanted to pay for a single piece like that.

The corset dresses are gorgeous, just like the other one.  There are two more colours I'll probably get if they ever go on sale.

The sheer top was an impulse buy-I didn't think it was very nice, but I thought that I might be able to make it work.

I've been lusting over the first top for over a year, but the quality wasn't as good as expected.  The cups are huge and flat for some reason, and the material is way cheaper than shown..it looks like a shiny satin in the picture, but it ended up looking like a cheap polyester in person.

Beer maid costume:  $5.50
Plaid lingerie set:  $2.54

Both off Ebay.  The next time I see a costume for sale, I'll have to remember that most of them are crap quality-this one was decent, aside from the 'corset' detailing.

Peach babydoll:  $3.06
Lace kimono:  $4.50
Black lingerie set:  $2.29

All off Ebay.  Love the rosette accent on the peach babydoll-it's why I bought it!

The 'kimono' was actually two pieces-nowhere in the description was I lead to believe that.  The seller ended up giving me a refund because it was misrepresented.

Wednesday, August 17, 2011

Pumpkin costume:  $4.50
Black lace shorts:  $2.38
White lace shorts:  $2.38
Owl locket ring:  $2

Black lingerie set:  $2.29
Purple lingerie set:  $5.06
Ruffled tank top:  $1.69
Red corset dress:  $11.19
Silver pearl ring:  $1.63

Grey leopard bow bracelet:  $1.63
Flower bracelet:  $1.74
Flower cameo ring:  $1.36

All off Ebay.

The costume was a total disappointment-I bid on a random auction, and they ended up sending me the worst one there.  The purple lingerie set was also worse quality than I expected-I really wish I didn't pay so much.

The red corset dress, on the other hand, is gorgeous!  I'm really happy with it.  I just wish I got it when it was only $8.50 a few weeks ago..I didn't notice until I looked at the buyer history.   It was still a bit more than I wanted to pay, but I've been watching it for over a year so I decided to splurge.

I ended up buying two more in black and white from their website for just about the same price so I'm looking forward to that.

Tuesday, August 16, 2011

White lingerie set:  $2.25
Heart bracelet/ring set:  $.99

Flocked notebooks:  $1 each @ Dollar Park

Always on the lookout for interesting notebooks that tickle my fancy-I'm such a sucker for filigree and fleur-de-lis.

Saturday, August 13, 2011

Butterfly compact (RSP:  $8+)
Cameo locket
Flower cameo locket

$2 each @ The Mad Hatter's Superstore

I really didn't plan on buying anything like this today, but I'm such a sucker for beautiful things.  The mirror was just too gorgeous to pass up, and I've got a thing for cameos.

Friday, August 12, 2011

Black flower ring:  $.99
Clear flower ring:  $.99
Pink owl ring:  $1.61
Flower ring:  $1.12
Leopard heart ring:  $1.12
Heart bracelet:  $1.61

All off Ebay.

Thursday, August 11, 2011

Bunny locket:  $3.10
Bird ring:  $1.12
Flower ring:  $.99

All off Ebay.

These were all impulse buys-I kind of wish I didn't get them.  I really wish I didn't pay so much for the other similar lockets, as I saw them go for 1/3 of the price later on!  I think it'll probably be the same case for this one....and this one is smaller and not as nice overall.

I do think the bird ring is neat, but it ended up being too big for me.  Even if it did fit, the bird is huge!  I wasn't expecting that.  It looks a little awkward on.

The flower ring is pretty, but way smaller than I expected...I prefer large statement rings.  I'm just glad I didn't buy any more from that seller, they had a lot of other tempting items.

Wednesday, August 10, 2011

LED projection clock:  $4.18
Rose pearl choker:  $2.35
Rose pearl ring:  $1.72
Leopard skirt/tights:  $.91

All off Ebay.

The tights were an amazing deal!  Probably because the wording was a bit odd, and it wasn't clear what was for sale...there's a brown one that I'd like to win if the seller ever lists them again.

Maybe I paid too much for the clock, but it was right up my alley-stars and time projections!  I'm such a sucker for those kind of gimmicks.

As always, love my pearls.  The ring is just as pretty as expected, the necklace less so.

Monday, August 8, 2011

Secretary lingerie:  $5.06 @ Ebay

I thought it was kind of cheap when I took it out of the package, but it's incredibly flattering on!  The skirt is way too short to wear in public, but I think the top is pretty workable.

Saturday, August 6, 2011

Boondock Saints t-shirt:  $.75 (RSP:  $5-$29.99)
3 x 2-pack socks:  $.47 each (RSP:  $4.97)
Lacey boy shorts:  $.50 (RSP:  $2+)

2 x Torrid shirred tops:  $.75 each (RSP:  $5.88-$14.99)

Soho - Leopard heart case:  $2 (RSP:  $8-$14.99)
Robert Lefort - Lace box purse:  $.50 (RSP:  $2-$10)
2 x Soho - Leopard heart pouches:  $1 each (RSP:  $4-$5.99)
Ben Kawayama - White turnlock box clutch:  $.50 (RSP:  $2-$10)

All @ Liquidation World.

Since this location was closing, I had to check it out-there was a pretty major setback (the only route I knew how to use was closed), but I'm pretty happy with my haul.  There was barely anything left, so I'm glad I didn't leave empty-handed.

I was unsure about the shirred tops because I don't really like those colours...I could see myself wearing blue on occasion, but I'm not a green person.  Since I loved the style, and because they were dirt cheap, they came home with me.

I didn't really like the socks that much, but I needed new socks-when else can I get them for $.24 a pair?  I considered stocking up, but didn't since I'm not too crazy about the colours.

I really liked the leopard heart pouches, but I thought a dollar was a pretty average price for them-ended up getting them anyway, since I like the design of those ones better than any dollar store one I've seen.

Friday, August 5, 2011

Red chiffon dress:  $2.56
Striped chiffon halter dress:  $3.92

Both off Ebay.

The red one's kind of ugly as is, but I think it'll look gorgeous with the right adjustments-for that price, I was willing to put in the work!

Thursday, August 4, 2011

Black dress w/white bow accent:  $3.61
Grey leopard print dress:  $3.38

Grey chiffon top:  $3.38
Leopard bow cuff:  $1.62

All off Ebay.

These were amazing deals, but I suppose the quality is pretty much equal to the price.  The first black dress is a bit disappointing, since the material feels pretty cheap.

The grey top is gorgeous, but I hate how sheer it is-I suppose I'll just have to wear another layer but I don't like the unflattering outline that will emerge.  Flattering Ebay pictures:

The last dress ended up looking exactly like the picture-surprisingly, it looked a lot better than I thought it would!  They're all still pretty usable, and I'm happy I got them for the price I did.

I sort of regret getting the bangle-it looked so much better in the picture!  I thought it was a chunky bracelet, but it ended up being surprisingly small...I bought another one in a different colour, but never again.

Tuesday, August 2, 2011

Pink lingerie set:  $1.85
Crystal skull ring:  $.56/$.28 (second one not pictured)
Black rose bracelet:  $1.61

All off Ebay-the black one is huge!  I was expecting it to be somewhat smaller, but I'm still pretty happy with it.  I'm now trying to win another one in gray.
