Brown finger vinyl beads - bag of 5 hot pink vinyl elephants:  $1.99 @ Value Village

Anri - Vintage mechanical wooden drinking man cork:  $.99 @ Salvation Army

Here he is in action:

I've never seen anything like this before!  I find marionettes intriguing, so I found this thing very neat.  It's not a full marionette of course, but it had one interesting motion - he drinks when you move the lever on his back!  His mouth opens up and everything!

Since it was cheap, I decided to buy it.  I thought it was probably vintage, and it was pretty well sculpted.  I admired the craftsmanship.  He even has little crow's feet!

I read that artists (at least some of them, probably) carved these to be caricatures of themselves, which I found darling.

Turns out it's probably from the 1940's and made in Germany.  They sell on eBay for $20, so that's not too shabby!  There was other stuff in the bag, but I left it all behind.

The elephants were a big impulse buy.  When I went there today, they had 7 bags of these!  Most of them were these cute pink elephants, some of them were ugly dogs.

I really have no use for them, but I thought they were so adorable!  Plus, they're my colour!  Since they were new in package, and they were cheap enough, I ended up buying it.  I sure know how to justify my purchases!

18K gold plated snake bracelet:  $2.16 / $1.33 (Highest:  $2.55)
Gold pearl collar necklace:  $1.75 (Highest:  $5.16)
Gold border snakeskin collar necklace:  $2.26 (Highest:  $5.04)
Orange snakeskin collar necklace:  $1.97 (BIN:  $11.99)

Gold plated rhinestone turtle bracelet:  $1.51 (Highest:  $9.38)
Red white and black gemstone belt:  $1.04 (Highest:  $1.56)
High heel shoe cushions:  $.90 (Highest:  $1.75)

All off eBay.

I love the snakeskin and pearl collars!  They're much better than expected, and so flattering on.

I'm not too fond of the orange collar.  It's huge, and the collar is unflattering!  I think I might paint it.

The belt is kind of tacky too.  The gems are just hot glued on, and one even fell off in the package...I haven't tried it on yet, but maybe it looks ok.  Can't complain for the price!

The turtle bracelet has one sharp edge that keeps on scratching my hand.  I'll have to sand it down.

Lot of 10 dolls shoes:  $.99 (Highest:  $4.24)

Lot of 5 doll shoes:  $.99

Both off eBay.

Both were better than expected!  I'm very happy with them.  Now I feel silly for those times I paid $2+ just to get one pair of shoes..

I'm especially happy with the first lot.  It has so many of those gorgeous netted shoes I love!  I wish I didn't buy this lot before, since I ended up getting all of the same ones in this one for the same price!

This was the seller's picture, so I ddn't expect to get so many of that type:

I would have liked to get some boots, but I'm pretty happy with what I got.  The colours were great, and 9/10 were clear shoes, which I love.

The second lot was even better quality!  Not that the first one was bad.  Actually, these are all still wayyy better than dollar store shoes and the like.  I was surprised about that.  I wouldn't blink an eye if I saw them used on a mainstream doll.

Anyway, I think most of the shoes in the second lot are actual barbie shoes.  One of them even has the B, plus they're all pretty fashionable.

I really like the blue one!  It has these neat coiled snake straps.  The whole top row is pretty great, but the last two aren't very exciting.  Oh well, still a worthwhile lot.

Black hat
Hype - heart shaped jewel earbuds (RSP:  $19.99)

$2 each @ Dollarama

I needed a Zoro hat for tonight, and this was the closest I could find.  If I can make the brim wider, it might be ok...if it looks horrible I'll leave it home.

The earbuds were an impulse buy.  I love hearts, and I thought theses were really cute.  They seemed like better quality than usual, and I could tell they weren't manufactured by Dollarama, so I thought they were probably worth it.

Monster High - Roller maze girls (complete set:  Lagoona, Operetta, Frankie, Ghoulia):  $8.97 each $.19 total @ Superstore (RSP:  $14.99-$19.99 each)

Finally, decently priced monster high dolls!  I found out about the sale yesterday night.  It started yesterday, so I was worried that everything was gone by now.  I ended up waking up early, even though I barely slept!

I had planned to make a few trips to try to get all of them, but to my surprise, I managed to find all of them at the first one I went to!

I only ended up paying $.19 since I used my PC points.  Now I wish I didn't spend all of my other ones on junk food!

Outside the store, I found this abandoned pack of noodles on a ledge, so I took it home.  These normally cost $.25 or so, so I'm going to say the dolls were completely free :P.

Off white feather earrings (RSP:  $15)
Black feather/chain earrings (RSP:  $18)

Both free @ Le Chateau

I never thought Le Chateau would have a promotion like this!  I love a lot of their stuff, but find things overpriced, especially considering the quality.

When I heard that there was a $5 coupon out there (with no minimum!), I assumed that there'd be nothing low enough to use it on.  Imagine my surprise when I encountered a whole row of $2.99 jewelry!

Anyway, I got the black one, and my friend got me the other one since there was nothing she wanted.  I thought I might get hassled by the clerk, but it was surprisingly easy.  Yay!

I've always wanted some feather earrings, but I was waiting for a sale.  I'm glad I did!

24" rubber (or soft vinyl?) grocery store doll:  $16.99 @ Salvation Army (New West) (RP:  $19.99)

Argh, I really didn't want to pay this much!  I just loved her face, and I had a coupon burning a hole in my pocket...I suppose I also didn't want to leave empty handed since I went out of my way to go here.

I think she's probably made by Deluxe Reading.  I've never seen a doll like this before - she's not jointed at all!  Her body is pretty heavy and pleasantly squishy.  I read that these were stuffed with some sort of seed.

She reminded me of a Dollikin, which I've always wanted to find.  Her eyes are pretty clouded over, and she has no shoes, but I found her so darling!  The only marking I could find is an AE-255 on her neck.

I've seen some other knockoffs that sort of looked like Dollikins, but weren't so pretty.  I didn't buy them because they were still expensive, and the quality seemed shoddy (hollow plastic).  This doll feels really substantial, plus she's huge!  The biggest doll I have right now, and a lot bigger than Dollikins and their knockoffs.

In the end, I decided to consider it a charitable donation...that made it feel better.  No way I'd spend this much at Value Village or another for profit (probably!).

This location always has a lot of old dolls, and they always price them sky high.  She's probably only $10 on eBay (if you can find a buyer), but shipping would be crazy expensive due to her weight.

*edit*

Found the same kind of doll (same head mold and everything) on eBay for $22 plus shipping...except that one had shoes and gloves.

A way better deal if you don't factor in shipping (total would have been $31 in the US, wayyy more for me), but I still think mine's prettier.   This one does have a way better outfit though.

Seductions - Purple top w/beaded halter collar:  $5 (RSP:  $16) @ Sirens (SC)

This top is gorgeous!  I was undecided when I saw it, but was amazed by how gorgeous it was on.

Even though people always harp on the quality, I always love the designs at Sirens!  Nothing has fallen apart on me yet..

I'm kind of proud of myself for leaving behind a purple bustier.  I always bought every cheap one I could find, and I was tempted to this time as well.  I really loved the design, and this one even had boning...but it was a kind or purple that I found really ugly.

Atmosphere - Black straw purse w/chain strap:  $1.50
Veneto - Gold handle geometrical stripe turnlock purse:  $2.50 -$.50!
The Limited - Suede/leather belt w/big gold buckle:  $2
Toledano - Suede/leather belt w/embossed half circle buckle:  $1

All @ Shared Thrift Store

This really is the best thrift store ever!  I always find great things for cheap whenever I go.  Too bad it's so far away...I've only been there twice.

All of the yellow tags were half price.  I would have picked most of them up at full price!

I was unsure about the gold handle purse, since I don't think it's all leather.  The suede accents are definitely real, but the majority of it isn't.

I picked it up anyway since I LOVE the design (all that shiny gold...that unique design...the turnlock closure) and it was way cheap.  There's not even any tax here!

*edit*

Well, turns out I was actually paid to buy that Veneto purse.  I found $3 inside!

The purse was making a weird noise so I inspected it carefully...I found the money had slipped behind the lining, which is why I never noticed it before.

Gotta love when that happens!  Ironically, at this point (several months after making this post), I don't really like it anymore.

Reliable Canada - Blinking Inuit doll with real fur clothing:  $3.99
Shamash & Yofi creations - Black / white blazer w/sheer strappy sleeves:  $9.99

Both @ Value Village (Coquitlam (Clarke Rd))

I'm getting a really bad habit of paying full price for things.  I just have to stop shopping on non-sales days, I'm getting so loose with my money here!

The doll was adorable, but kind of pricey.  Annoyingly, it was originally $1.99, but then they marked it up!  I've seen it sell for $8+ online.

The blazer...I'm just a sucker for unique designs.  I really loved the sleeves and the black/white colour scheme.  I would have been way happier paying $5-$6 though.

Amiet - Snakeskin (python) purse:  $14.99
Moxie Teenz - Melrose doll (first edition):  $4.99

Both @ Value Village (Langley)

This is why I HATE going on non-sale days!  I was already making a trip out, so I decided to pay $5 more to get a day pass so I could make a thrifting trip.

That purse took my breath away, but the price was offputting.  I loved it so much, I didn't really hesitate.

It's got everything I like - snakeskin, gold hardware, and that classical structured rectangular shape.  I just wish I didn't pay so much for it.

It is gorgeous though, and it'll never go out of style.  I don't know what the brand is for sure, but the lock says "amiet" on it.  I did a search, and most of the bags with that lock are made out of exotic skins, and are equally gorgeous!

I didn't really hesitate on the doll either.  I don't normally like paying that much for used dolls, but this one was bigger than normal and almost complete, so I thought it was a good deal.

It's just missing its shoes, bracelets, and rings.  I don't even think she was played with!  Her clothes are still sewn on, and they're just so fashionable!  I love her blazer...it reminds me of the one I bought for myself today :P.

I was curious about this line, so I'm happy I managed to find one so quickly.  They are Liv ripoffs, but at least they changed their size.

Burnished gold belt (RP:  $.99)
Trafaluc Zara - Silver glitter circular box purse (RP:  $2.99 - $17.95)
Zara men - Navy blue military blazer (RP:  $9.99 - $199)

Everything for $9.98 @ Salvation Army (Maple ridge)

This is the first time I've been here, even though the closest bus to me goes right to it.

It's really small.  I probably won't bother to go back, but I'm glad I did today.

Turns out they had tons of donations from Zara - I'm sure it's direct from the company since there were so many of them, a lot of them had tags, and the name was (ineffectively) marked out with black marker.

Also, everything had slight flaws!  The purse needed to be glued back into the frame on one side, and the blazer had a small tear inside the arm.

Ahh, the blazer.  It was marked as a woman's blazer, and it sure looked feminine!  When I saw it, it took my breath away...the quality is amazing.

The lining is just as gorgeous as the outside!  It's constructed of different fabrics and just had me in awe.

I'm planning on tailoring it to fit me better.  I really love the design and the quality is so impressive!

Blue circle statement necklace:  $2.26 (Highest:  $5.50)
Gold collar necklace w/rectangular ruby gem:  $2.51 (Highest:  $6.41)
Gold/pink multileaf necklace:  $2.04 (Highest:  $7)
White lace covered rhinestone belt:  $2.24 (Highest:  $3.26)
Ocara - NRFP miniature apple set:  $1.04 (Highest:  $5.03)

All off eBay.

Pretty happy with this lot.  I was unsure about the leaf necklace, but I loved it in person!  The leaves are a shiny gold, which totally wasn't what I was expecting from the picture.

The miniatures are actually pretty nice quality too, as good as re-ment!  Even though they are a cheaper Chinese company, I wouldn't have complained anyway, for the price I paid - it was new in package and below retail!

$10 Walmart gift card:  free from Tellwut
Gold/rhinestone scorpion bracelet:  $2.26 off eBay (Highest:  $15.56(!))
Chapman's pens:  free

I just signed up for Tellwut recently, and I'm pretty happy about it.  It only took about a week to get the gift card!  It's way faster than anything else I've tried so far.  Right now I'm about half way through to getting another one.

All you have to do is answer short, user-submitted surveys.  Most of them are actually interesting!  It only takes a few seconds to answer most surveys, and the points really add up.  I'd recommend joining if you haven't already!

A better picture of the bracelet:

It's kind of tacky, but I love it!

Monster high - Dead Tired Cleo doll (nude):  $5.99
Liv - It's my nature Hayden doll:  $1.99

Both @ Value Village (Surrey / Newton)

I actually found three monster high dolls at the first Value Village, but they were priced stupidly high!  Even worse, two of them were stained, dirty, and handless...highway robbery at that price!

I thought this one was overpriced too, but I found her so gorgeous.  I actually ended up coming back to get her, since I haven't seen used Monster High dolls in a long time, and I didn't know if I would find her again.

She was the only one in decent condition...she basically looked new.  When I went home however, I found out that she has TWO left hands!

How annoying.  I already thought it was a ripoff without that little flaw.

Anyhow, I found a cheap Liv doll at the other Value Village, so it was a no brainer.  These dolls really grew on me!  I find them so charming.

I don't have this one, and I liked her wig, so I had no qualms picking her up.  I think I'll probably pick up any Liv doll (that still has a wig) for this price.

Gold rivet necklace:  $2.04 (BIN:  $3.99)
Silver gold plated snake bracelet:  $2.26 (Highest:  $3.25)

Both off eBay.

The bracelet's nicer than I thought.  I actually have two more in gold coming my way!

Saturday, October 20, 2012

Patty - ruffled khaki shirt w/ buckled front:  $4
Seductions - NWT Blue ruffled sleeveless blouse:  $3.50

Liv doll (2nd edition Katie, Dog set)  w/two wigs and chair (all from the Salon studio set):  $3.99 (RSP:  $31.99+)
Liv doll (1st edition Alexis) + other dolls:  $2

All @ Talize.

I was really tired this day, but I just can't miss a half off sale!  I woke up half an hour before it started and still managed to get there right when it opened.

It was pretty disappointing.  I normally find a lot more stuff there, but this time it was slim pickings!  There was this vintage leather box purse with a really neat dial closure that I wanted - it was only $3 too!

But it had some noticeable scratches at the front that I couldn't fix.  I have enough purses now, that I really shouldn't be adding more unless they're in great condition, or just really unique.

Anyway, the prices were insane this time around!  Even at half price, most things were still a ripoff.

I'm happy with what I found though.  The first shirt was a no brainer!  The design was gorgeous and unique, plus so flattering on.  They ended up charging me full price though, I hope my refund went through.

The other one I was unsure of.  I like how it looks, but I don't care for blue that much...plus, it is a mall brand.  I wouldn't have bought it if it didn't have tags on.

I think it might have been worn though, since I did see one stain on it.  I suppose it could have happened in the change room.

Well, I tried it on and it was so flattering, I just had to get it.  I probably could have gotten it entirely new for $5, maybe even the same price if I was lucky.

Then, the toys.  I was undecided on them since I already have some, and I really only want the bodies.  I decided to get them for the wigs, since I can use those for other dolls.  It was full price though..I would have been way happier paying $2 for that lot.

Then I saw that $2 bag, and I decided to get that one too!  She was just too pretty to pass up, and I liked her outfit too.  It came with some other dolls, but I didn't want them.

Also went to Sephora to get my obligatory perfume samples.

Tuesday, October 16, 2012

This is a pretty elaborate sample from Always.  It came in a big fancy box and a little pouch!  They don't normally put that much work into it.

Monday, October 15, 2012

Barbie Collector catalog:  free
American Apparel - neon blue nail polish:  free (RSP:  $7.50)
Black/white gold cuff:  $2.25 off eBay
Gold rhinestone encrusted snake bracelet:  $1.41 off eBay

Plus samples from Sephora.  Can you believe some people actually buy those Barbie catalogs?  You can get them free off their website!

Here are better pictures of the bracelets:

They were both better than expected!

Saturday, October 13, 2012

American Apparel - 2 Nail polishes (Berry, Sunset Blvd) and 1 lip gloss:  free (RSP:  $7.50 each)

Then perfume samples.  I always get them whenever I'm in the area now!  I wish I started a long time ago.

The AA stuff is from a promotion they're having right now.  All you have to do is go in the store and mention it!

Friday, October 12, 2012

Hot pink/white gold owl bracelet:  $1.30
Gold/white gold owl bracelet:  $1.04

Both off eBay.

I wish I didn't buy these.  I thought these would be metal since they look EXACTLY like the other ones I bought...but these ended up being plastic.  Call me a snob, but plastic's for Halloween!

I do make exceptions for necklaces, but there's no leeway for bracelets.

Thursday, October 11, 2012

Wide brown belt/w shiny silver floral detailing:  $1.77 (Highest:  $3.33)

Coral rosette necklace w/gold filigree detailing:  $1.04 (Highest:  $3.25)

Both off eBay.

I'm pretty happy with both of them, but I do already have similar items.  I guess it's time to curb my spending, especially since I might be moving soon!

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

Huge red oval gem statement necklace:  $4.14 (Highest: $17.50)

Clear silicone doll shoes:  $.99 for all (Highest:  $4.25)

Both off eBay.

I've been wanting that necklace for a long time, so I was willing to raise my bid a bit.

I'm glad I did!  It's gorgeous in person.  Now I'm trying to win one in other colours.

Then, the doll shoes.  They were pretty and cheap enough, so I decided to get them.  I love transparent shoes!

I ended up buying two more lots of other shoes, but that'll probably be it for a while.  I've got 15 more pairs coming!

Tuesday, October 9, 2012

Greek bronze cuff bracelet:  $2.25 (BIN:  $5.99)
Gold collar w/gold and red feathers:  $2.04 (BIN:  $9.99)
Blue/gold collar w/red oval stone:  $2.25 (BIN:  $6.99)

All off eBay.

Pretty happy with all of these!  They're gorgeous.  I'm appreciating my eBay buys wayyyy more after seeing all of that overpriced H&M jewelry today.

The quality's the same (or better!), and some of the designs on eBay are far more intricate.

Red sandals w/shiny gold trim:  $2 @ Icing (RSP:  $36.50)
Shoe-a-holic magazine (RSP:  $6.95)
Flare magazine (RSP:  $3.99)

Free @ Town Shoes.

I love magazines, but I never want to pay for them.  I saw that Town Shoes was giving away two of them free just for entering their store, so I made a trip out of it (there aren't any near me).

The first magazine really should be free!  It's basically just a catalog, they're the only store featured!

Plus, it's not like there are any articles....I'd be realllly surprised if someone was willing to pay for these.  It probably has 1/3 of the pages that Flare does, and Flare's even cheaper!

I ended up getting some perfume samples at Sephora while I was out.  I'm trying to find the scent for me, plus I just love getting vials of perfume.

I probably shouldn't have bought the sandals though.  I really like how they look, but they're a size too big.

They didn't look that big, I thought I could make them work somehow!  I've never seen shoes that cheap there before.

Moxie teenz  accessory pack:  $2 (RSP:  $10)
Pink light up wand:  $.59 (RSP:  $1.48)

Both @ Zellers.

I went to this Zellers that's closing down in hopes of finding cheap monster high dolls.  Well, that didn't happen - there was barely anything left, and most of it was still expensive!

I ended up buying this accessory pack for the shoes, mostly.  The other stuff is ok.  All in all, the price wasn't that great for what it comes with.

The wand - I guess I was so disappointed I had a momentary lapse in judgement.  It's neon pink, AND it's got a cherub and a dolphin!  It also  lights up, but the lights are so weak you can barely see anything.

It was supposed to be 75% off, making it $.38...I was ok with that.  It rang up as only 60%, I probably should have left it behind.

I also ended up going to a different Zellers that was closing down that day, and it had  NO monster high dolls at all!  And the sale pretty much just started...I wonder if it's the same person going around and getting these things.

Saturday, October 6, 2012

Gold multi leaf necklace (RSP:  $16.50)
Gold wire jewelry holder w/black rosette center (RSP:  $16.50)
Black metal floral headband w/rhinestone detailing (RSP:  $25.75)
Gold woven cuff bracelet (RSP:  $14.25)
Gold mesh necklace (RSP:  $28(!))
3 tiered gold circle earrings (RSP:  $16.50)

$2 each @ Icing

I came here for the Zellers liqiduation sale (which ended up pretty disappointing), so luckily I had this to turn the tide!

A bunch of items were marked down to $2, which is great, since I don't always have enough to partake in their 5 for $10 sales.

Funnily enough, I ended up buying more than I normally would.  Didn't see that coming!

The other good thing is, they included items in the higher price margins this time.  I got two items that were nearly $30 each, which would normally be $5 during their regular clearance.

I have a ton of leaf necklaces already, but I just really liked this one.  It sure tangles like crazy though.

I probably could have gotten similar earrings on eBay for cheaper, but these were nice quality and looked great.  I just couldn't say no!

I'm happy with everything.  I love Icing!  Their stuff is right up my alley, fashionable and sophisticated.  I really love the jewelry holder (look at those curled ends!) and the headband.

It's the nicest headband I've ever seen!  It's study metal, intricate, and huge.  I don't even wear headbands, but I'd pick this one to start!

"Animal voice box" - $.99 @ Value Village (Surrey) (RSP:  Well, I found someone trying to sell it for $10!)

This is kind of useless, but it was cheap and neat so I picked it up.  I've never seen anything like this before!  Inside, there are gold crickets that chirp (but they don't move):

I thought I could use it as a jewelry box, so it came home with me.  If it really had no function at all, I'd probably leave it behind.

It is small though.  I could probably only put a few rings in there.

I noticed some chips on the side when I came home.  Too bad...though I probably would have bought it anyway.

Monster High - Skeleton create a monster add on pack:  $10.50 @ Zellers (RSP:  $14.99-$17.99)

They're normally $18 everywhere else, so I thought this was a decent deal.  Though this is the REGULAR price in the US...even though our dollar is higher at the moment!

I just found out that there's going to be a regular release skeleton girl, so I kind of wish I didn't buy this.  She has no torso!  The ones sold here don't match.

They're available on Mattel's site for only $8 (for a pack of 5), and sometimes it even has free shipping!

But stupidly, they charge a ridiculous fee for international shipping...plus a dumbass handling fee...so I'd be looking at $23 for one pack.  Such a ripoff!

So she'll be staying in the box for a while until I get some other CAM torso...I'm actually not too crazy about the head, but I LOVE those shoes!

Plus her hands and limbs are very cool.

Now I'm just waiting to find bee girl for a decent price!

Liv dolls - First edition Katie and Spa Sophie:  $2.99 @ Value Village

Found these while on my quest for used monster high dolls (the quest still remains!).  I've seen these dolls nude and reasonably priced before ($2 each, sometimes $4, which I don't consider reasonable), but I was never tempted to pick them up.

I do think they're pretty enough, but they're kind of boring looking.  It's interesting that they have acrylic eyes, but I didn't like them enough to pick up until now.

The reason I did was because I noticed how articulated their bodies were - they're almost as good as obitsus, which cost around $20 each!  Everything is just as good below the waist, but the elbows don't have as much movement.

But for $1.50 each, I can't complain!  I thought I'd just steal their bodies if their faces didn't grow on me.

The blonde one actually has colour changing hair and makeup!  I love gimmicks like that.  She's actually still in stores right now!

Turns out they have wigs too, which are actually pretty nice quality.  I think the other ones I saw were bald.

All in all they were really worth it, I'm glad I found them!  They're being discontinued, which is kind of sad.  I feel like they're wayyyy better than a lot of dolls on the market.

Monster High - Skull Shores Frankie:  $7 @ Zellers (RSP:  $10)

I saw this doll for a while, but postponed getting her.  I'm really interested in this line but the dolls are soooo expensive...$15-$35 on average.  Of course, the $15 ones are pretty bare bones, the ones I want the most are the pricier ones.

She's the cheapest one I've ever seen, and she was actually one of the dolls I was interested in, so it's a no-brainer.  I ended up getting her from my brother as a birthday present.  Well, I asked for it.

Turns out that just a DAY after I got her, she went on sale!  I went back to get a price adjustment so I'm happy I ended up getting her this cheap.

Though I later found out that she only retailed for $4.13 in the states, whereas she was always $10 here!  Felt kind of gypped after hearing that.

Someone came and pretty much bought EVERYTHING....there were 4 Frankies when I was there last, and they were all gone when I came.  All of the CAM starter kits and most of the other things were gone too.

I guess my timing was perfect, because I'm sure she would have been gone too if I didn't get her when I did.

These dolls are so darling.  I love the sculpts and their shoes, but the rest of their accessories are pretty crappy.  They are way too expensive considering the fact.  I'm really hoping I can find them used for cheap.

Friday, October 5, 2012

Turquoise collar necklace:  $2.25 (Highest:  $5.50)
Red floral gemstone collar:  $1.60 (Highest:  $7.16)
Gold filigree floral necklace w/black rose cabochons:  $2.25
Silver armor ring:  $1.30 (Highest:  $3.37)
Huge gold butterfly collar necklace:  $2.45 (BIN:  $8.99)

All off eBay.

I was really surprised that the butterfly necklace showed up - it never arrived and the seller said they would resend it.

By that time, it's too late to leave feedback, so I've had a lot of no shows in that situation.  I'm glad this one was honest!  The necklace is gorgeous.

Tuesday, October 2, 2012

Ingledews - Burgundy leather/suede purse:  $3
Vintage romantic ceramic wall hangings:  $.30 each

All @ Penny Pincher

I always like coming here.  Their prices are cheap (for the most part), they have a decent turnaround, and most of their wares are vintage.

I was undecided on the purse above, but bought it because the leather felt soooo nice!  Smooth and smelled great, one of the best leathers I've ever felt.

I was really surprised considering the brand isn't super high end.  I've seen tons of Ingledews leather goods, and none of them were anything like this one!

It's also a unique design, but I feel like I'm not crazy about it.  For that price though, I decided to pick it up.  I've never seen a purse like this before!  It reminds me of two envelopes stacked on top of each other.

They also had a lot of nice leather purses for $2 each!  Nice, as in, the leather was nice, and the purses were in excellent condition.  It's just too bad all of those were floppy and shapeless, it was easy to leave them behind!

Not so much for the wall hangings.  I love vintage romantic scenes, and these were just so cheap I had to have them.  I have no idea what I'll do with them, but at least they won't take up too much storage space!
