Embossed heart wristlets - $2.25 each @ Des Cosina

They're bigger than standard change purses and have two zippered compartments, so I bought them to use as wallets.

The only shoddy part is, they're not properly lined inside.  Not a big deal, since I can do that myself easily.

Still, I loved how they looked (hearts + lace + bows = love), and they were cheap.

One of them was marked at $2.25, so the store let me have all of them at that price.  The first purchase I've made at Chinatown in a long while!

Seduction - gathered top with belt:  $5 @ Mariposa (RSP:  $20.50)

I'll admit that I probably wouldn't have bought this top if it didn't come with a belt.  I just don't like buying belts separately when I can get a piece of clothing along with it for the same price.

Recently, I've developed an all encompassing love for pearls.  They're just so classy and gorgeous...I had to have some of my own.

The ones I've seen around here have been ridiculously priced, and fake to boot!  I knew I could get real ones online for cheaper, so that's the route I took.

72" pearl necklace:  $6
18" pearl necklace:  $1.65
3 strand 'pearl' bracelet:  $1.99

The bracelet turned out to be fake, even though the seller listed them as being 'genuine freshwater pearls.'  I called them on it, and thankfully, they gave me a refund.

As for the other ones-they're more beautiful than I imagined!  Even though they're not perfectly round or consistent, they surpass any imitation pearl I've seen.  I'm planning to get more in different lengths and colours :o.
