Willowbrook mall pouch
Escents aromatherapy - matcha tea soap (RSP:  $4.95)
Escents aromatherapyrenewal lip balm (RSP:  $4.95)

I love Willowbrook mall! They always have such great promotions and events.

This freebie was just for signing up for their newsletter. They're having an eco-friendly fashion show in about a week and I think they'll be giving these away too.

Red chiffon bustier dress:  $10 @ Urban Behavior (RSP:  $35)

Same dress as this one, except in a different colour-I had to get it!  Still in love with that longer train at the back.

It was the only one there, and it happened to be my size.

There was no belt, but I ended up getting to pick one from a bag of random lost belts.

Black leather jacket: $17.50 @ Value Village

I normally wouldn't pay this much for a used leather jacket, but I did so for the following reasons:

1.  It fits me perfectly
2.  The cut is flattering
3.  It's incredibly warm
4.  The leather is thick and just amazing quality

But most of all:

5.  It didn't have that thrift store smell!

The last one really surprised me. That's the first time I've found a leather coat there that didn't need extensive work in that area! I probably wouldn't have paid that price otherwise.

6.  It was made in my home town. The label actually said (my hometown) leathers, so I took that as a sign.

I just wish I didn't buy this coat. I'm sure I could have gotten it for half price if I waited, and it doesn't look nearly as good as my recent batch!

Lady Western - Brown hooded leather trench coat:  $8.99

Mac Laren's - Black leather trench coat:  $12.49

Both @ Value Village.

I'm so glad half off day came so soon!  I read it normally only came every three months, and since the last one was just a month ago, I thought I was in for a long wait.

Luckily, they had a members only event, and only for a limited amount of items. Even luckier still, leather and fur jackets were included!

I was hoping I would find a nice fur coat, but at least I came away with a lot of great leathers.

The first one's amazing, style and price wise!

Funnily enough, I was just admiring a very similar one on Etsy a few weeks ago. I actually like mine way better, and it was so much cheaper too! I'll probably add some real fur once I find it.

The other one is a great design, it looks pretty modern though I'm sure it's vintage.

It needs some work though. It's a little too big for me, and the last owner seems to have put buttons on and then taken them out.

I'll have to put them back on again since there's no way to repair the leather there, plus it would solve both of those problems!

Really happy I decided to check out this location. I've never seen so many leather coats in one place!

Pearl encrusted halter top:  $7.50 @ Urban Behavior (RSP:  $14.99)

I really didn't want to pay this much, but I loved this top so much I decided to splurge. They only had two left - one in this colour, one in pink.

Now I kind of wish I bought the pink one.  It was the one I was originally interested in, but neutral colours are more my thing.

Corset dress:  $5 @ Urban Behavior (RSP:  $24)

It was marked higher than that, but it was on a lower priced rack with similarly patterned clothing.  I checked around to see if there were more of it on another rack but couldn't find anything.

I decided to check the price and the cashier gave it to me for the price I thought it was.

I'm not that crazy about the skirt, but I just loved the top half of it!  It's laced up in a really interesting way, front and back.

I don't even know what to call that print.  They look like feathers.

I should probably check back more often, things seem to fly off the shelves pretty fast.

The bustiers from this post are already gone, and it's only been 5 days!  They had quite a few the last time I was there.

Jofama - tan leather trench coat:  $14.99 @ Value Village

I should probably stop going to Value Villages for a while.  It seems like every time I go, I walk away with a leather jacket!

I wasn't sure if I should buy this one.  I wasn't even positive it was real leather, it was stiff and somewhat uncomfortable.

Besides some tiny areas that are majorly worn, the coat looks almost new.  It doesn't have a strong thrift store smell, so it doesn't need much work.

The deciding factor was the fact that it seemed like it was made recently.  All of my other ones are vintage, so it would be nice to own something newer.

Turns out this brand is crazy expensive - this coat's pretty similar and it retails for over $700!

Fairweather - Grey suede coat w/raccoon fur collar:  $14.99 @ Value Village
Lunch bag:  free @ Edgewater Casino

I was so surprised to find this coat at this price!  My last trip gave me some hope.

I was originally planning on only going during half price days, but those are so few and far in between!

I'm glad I decided not to do that, as I now know they're sometimes priced reasonably from the get go.

I saw almost the exact same coat last week for $50..no way I was going to pay that.

That one had a fox fur collar and was too tight for me, whereas this one was loads cheaper and fit me perfectly.

There's two buttons missing and no original belt, but for $35 less, I'm not complaining!

I've always thought that Value Village was the most overpriced thrift store around here, so I'm surprised that some of my cheapest leathers have come from them.

Neto - Leather jacket:  $9.99
Mimi world dolls:  $1.99 each

All @ Value Village.

I debated buying this jacket.  It was the first time I've seen a leather jacket there that was priced so low!  The norm is around $30, which I would probably never pay unless it was new with tags or had a killer design.

I remember reading some horror stories from a person who used to worked there:  they said that if pricing is too good to be true, it's because they're taking pity on you!  As in, there is something disgusting about the item that you wouldn't want to know.

That was lurking in the back of my mind, but I tried it on anyway.  It looked so good!

It has some slight marks, which is hopefully why it was marked that low...hopefully.

Hoping for more cheap leather coats in this length!  I saw a tan one at the same location for the same price, except that one was really scuffed up.

Maybe I'd buy it for $5 if it's there when the next half price day comes around, and only if there was some way to make it look presentable.

There was also a fur coat for $15! I was really tempted to buy it, but I didn't because the fur didn't feel very nice.  Why have a fur coat if you can't pet it?

Plus, the fur was shedding everywhere, it was way too big, and it looked really ugly on me.

But here's hoping I'll find a nice fur coat in that price range in the near future.

Patent bow lock purse:  $5.09 @ Claire's.

Some retail therapy today. I didn`t think I`d buy anything, but I`m glad I decided to take a look.

I have a bigger bag in the same design, but it was almost the same price so I hesitated a bit.

This one`s pretty tiny, but it`s practically a wallet with a shoulder strap.  I don`t have any purses with built in card compartments so that clinched it.

Gold lace bustier (RSP:  $20)
Silver lace bustier (RSP:  $20)
Leopard dress (RSP:  $35+)
Silver leopard bustier (RSP:  $20)

$5 each @ Urban Behavior.

I probably should have checked out Sirens first, since they often get the same stock..and I could have gotten $5 off if I spent that much there.

But I`ve been eying that dress for a while.  I saw it for $10 but didn`t think it was worth the price.

The bustiers are pretty cute, but I probably should have stopped at one.

I just wish I didn`t buy this dress last time-it was half that price today!

Leopard print purse:  $4.49 (RSP:  $18.25)
Leopard print belt:  $1.59 (RSP:  $13.25)

Both @ Claire's.

I`m definitely sensing a trend here.  The purse is pretty tiny, but I`m a sucker for leopard print.

Dav Mark - Tan leather trench coat:  $17.50 @ Union gospel thrift store

I hardly ever go to this thrift store since it rarely has anything I want.  Since I started looking for leather jackets, I decided to give it another chance - I'm glad I did!

When I put this coat on today, I think I gasped audibly - it looked so good!  It was amazing quality, but I really didn't want to pay $35 for a used coat.

I was thinking about coming back when they had a half off sale, but I asked around...and it was today!  The signs really weren't clear about that.

It's missing two buttons, but other than that, it looks just like new!  The cut and fit is so flattering, I even got complimented in store!

Diversity health fair swag: pedometers, pens, anatomically-shaped stress balls, reusable bags, a toothbrush, a flashing light, a flashing whistle, magnets, and other stuff.

Also got this shirt from SFU's open house.
