U2B:  Floral dress (RSP:  ~$20)
Parisian Collection:  Black/white palm tree print romper (RSP:  $22)
Streetwear Society:  Floral halter romper (RSP:  $18)

Streetwear society:  Coral halter maxi dress (RSP:  $15)
Streetwear Society:  Grey maxi dress (RSP:  $18)
Connection 18:  Ribbed dress (RSP:  $9.99)

Streetwear Society:  Floral maxi dress (RSP:  $20)
QED London:  Elephant print maxi dress (RSP:  $22)
She's Cool:  Tribal print halter jumpsuit (RSP:  $9.99)

All @ Urban Planet

This place hardly has any decent sales, so I'm surprised I spent so much today!  I love dresses the most, so I couldn't help myself when I saw five racks crammed full of them!

I actually bought all of the maxi dresses first.  Then I decided to take another look, and I ended up buying all of those shorter dresses after.  They weren't as worth it compared to the maxi dresses, but I just can't pass up a $5 dress!

They rarely have them that low, plus I know I will be wearing all of these.

I'm just surprised that some of them retailed for only $10!  That would have been worth it...not that I would have bought them then.  $5 is what I'll pay for a dress unless it's extraordinary.  I looked up the brands online, and they sell for around $20 there.

I just found out that the elephant dress was sold at ASOS for $71 as the Blue Vanilla Elephant Print Maxi Dress:

The one I bought is actually an extra small, which is normally way too small for me.  I tried it on, and it actually wasn't too bad.  A little snug in the bust and form fitting everywhere else, but not too bad.  I'm sure I can fit into it after I lose a few.

I just really liked the elephant print, so I had to pick it up.  Now I'm glad I did!  I pretty much paid the same price on sale for all 9 dresses as I would have on ASOS!

Turns out the floral romper is still for sale on Urban Planet's online shop:

I was pretty sure about buying it, because the material isn't that great.  I really liked the halter design and the print though, which is why I bought it.

Well, it does look great on, so I'm glad I did.

Sunglasses:  $1 each @ Sirens (RSP:  $5-$6 each)

All of the ones on the left were for my mom, and those were $6 each.

The ones I bought all had gold floral designs on them...the top two have them at the front and on the side, while the bottom ones only have them on the side.  I would have left them because of that, but since they were transparent I picked them up.  I just thought they were so neat!

Funnily enough, I bought the exact same style sunglasses a while ago on eBay!  I was thinking about buying more, but now I'm glad I didn't.  These were such a great deal!

Gem necklace:  $1.50

Forever 21 draped chain necklace:  $1.61 (Highest:  $6.50)(RSP:  $19.80)

All off eBay.

I'm surprised that forever 21 necklace retailed for so much!  They're normally pretty cheap when the design isn't that complicated.

Silver circle chain necklace:  $6.57 (BIN:  $19)
Blue flower necklace:  $2.86 (BIN:  $11.99)
Pink J.Crew bubble bib dupe:  $1.54 (BIN:  $6.99+)
Chain pearl necklace:  $2.07

Elizabeth Cole parrot earrings dupe:  $1.25 (BIN:  $7.99)(Original:  $377)
H&M stone necklace:  $1.29 (BIN:  $4.59)
Green ring:  $.99

All off eBay.

Very happy with several of these!  Especially the parrot earrings, because I didn't think they were sent.  They're a near exact dupe of these designer earrings, but I can't recall which one at the moment.

I think I overpaid for that chain necklace, but I thought it just looked so neat.  Mine was the cheapest so far, so at least there's that!

Pink necklace with floral accents:  $2.75 (BIN:  $6.99)
Pink gem necklace:  $.99 (Highest:  $4)
White gem necklace:  $1.51 (BIN:  $5.99)
Yellow J.Crew marquess dupe:  $2.06 (BIN:  $4.50)

J.Crew dupe:  $1.45 (Highest:  $6.60)

All off eBay.

I was supposed to get a mint version of the first necklace, but the seller sent me the double pearl necklace instead!  Which is ironic, because I was trying to win one.

But I paid $2.65 for that necklace, whereas the pearl one only costs $1.92!  But I'm pretty sure the seller will refund me anyway, so that's alright.

I really do want to win the mint version again though.  That's a really nice necklace!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles t shirt:  $5 @ Walmart.ca (RSP:  $10+)

I love the turtles, plus I do need more shirts to lounge around the house in.  It's a guy's shirt, but I can't find any of the women's ones for a cheap price.

I think I got the last one too, so that was lucky.  Their retail price is pretty reasonable in the first place...a  lot of stores charge $20+ for the same thing!  Plus, most of those stores would have charged $5 or more for shipping alone!

J.Crew marquess dupe:  $2.06 (BIN:  $4.59)
H&M stone necklace:  $2.06 (BIN:  $4.59)
Pink gem necklace:  $2.30 (BIN:  $6.32)
Multicolour gem necklace:  $.99 (BIN:  $8.99)

Shourouk phoenix necklace dupe:  $2.47 (Highest:  $13.50)
Yellow stone necklace:  $1.25 (Highest:  $8.25)
Stella and dot peacock necklace dupe:  $2.06 (BIN:  $4.99)
Big pearl necklace:  $1.54 (Highest:  $4.50)

All off eBay.

That multicolour necklace is surprisingly nice.  The seller only listed it once, so I'm glad I got it!

It took forever to win that Shourouk dupe, but at least it's here now.  Most of them end over $3, which is pretty close to the cheapest BIN, so that wasn't worth it.

NWT Oasis ruffled sateen dress:  $3.50 (RSP:  $100, at least according to this)
Emporio Armani - Wool dress:  $6.50 (RSP:  ~$1000)

NWT Jacob coral blazer:  $2(!) (RSP:  $~150)
NWT Forever 21 Bellette blazer:  $4.50 (RSP:  $33)

All from Value Village.

Finally!  It's been a while since I've seen Armani.  It doesn't look like much in the picture, but it gathers in a really beautiful way.

The rest aren't very high end, but they were so cheap for new with tag clothing!  I couldn't resist.  I've never seen new things priced so low at value village!

Pink doll bike:  $1.99
My little pony - Twilight sparkle's RC car:  $1.99 (RSP:  $24.99+)

Both @ Value Village

I picked up the mlp car first...mainly because of this awesome hood ornament:

How cool is that?  I don't know if I would have picked it up otherwise.  It does look unused, which is great.  No controller, but I think my other ones should work with it.

The bike is really neat too.  I wonder who made it.  It's really realistic with the metal accents, so I'm happy I snagged it.  It's my best looking bike so far!

NWT Marks & Spencer red wrap dress:  $5 (RSP:  $82)
Lavand - Clock print halter dress:  $6.50 (RSP:  ~$100)
Ted Baker London - Grey pantsuit:  $10 (RSP:  ~$600)

Japan et Chine - Leather jacket:  $6.50
Mackage - Perla A rain jacket in military:  $6.50 (RSP:  $300+)

All @ Value Village.

I'm surprised I found so much good stuff all at once!  Nothing super high end, but definitely more than I'd normally pay.

I even found a beautiful Kenzo trench coat...it probably retailed for around $1000.  Sadly, it was so small!  It was labeled a medium, but it fit like an extra small!  Too bad, I would have loved to have it.  It was only $6.50 and a recent style!!

I almost didn't buy the Ted Baker set...it's a size 4, which I normally have no hope of fitting into.  Surprisingly, it fit!  I'm happy I gave it a try, because the lining is really neat:

It didn't feel super high end, but the blazers retail for around $250.  Surprisingly, the pants retail for around $250!

The dress was more than I wanted to pay, but the print was so neat, I had to have it.  I found it in black here for $175!  That one has sleeves, so I wonder how much this one retailed for.  Their other ones have been around $100.

I think it looks way better in white!

Always love finding Mackage -- their designs are so fitted and stylish, akin to brands much more expensive than them.  I've found three so far...and I've bought two of them.  The first one was a wool jacket, but it looked way too used to buy.  Here's the official photo of the one I just bought:

I'm happy the other two worked out, and I'm always on the lookout for more!  They do keep some value.  I've seen this jacket sell for $125 used!  It's from 2012, but I think the look is timeless.

Red crystal necklace:  $2.25 (Highest:  $7.50)
Pink flower necklace:  $3.06 (BIN:  $13.99)

All off eBay.

I love those clear plate necklaces!  I hope they come out with more.

Blue gem necklace:  $1.85 (BIN:  $4.79)

All off eBay.

I like that marble pattern ring a lot more than I thought I would!  I think it looks a lot more expensive than it was.

Wednesday, August 20, 2014

Black gem necklace:  $1.25 (BIN:  $4.31+)
Yellow floral gem necklace:  $1.66 (BIN:  $4.99)
Geode ring:  $2.25

"J.Crew" bubble bib necklace:  $1.04

Crystal flower necklace:  $1.30
J.Crew 7 flower necklace dupe:  $3.25 (BIN:  $9.99+)

All off eBay.

I thought that bubble bib necklace was yellow, but it ended up being a neon green.  It's pretty nice, especially for that price!

I'm happiest about the ring.  It looks like a real geode, but I doubt it is.

Purple/pink gem necklace:  $3.53 (Highest:  $11.99)
Yellow flower necklace:  $3.26 (Highest:  $12)
Crystal fan necklace:  $2.26 (Highest:  $4.25)

Pink stone leaf necklace:  $2.25 (BIN:  $4.16)
Brown/white stone necklace:  $1.56 (Highest:  $10)

All off eBay.

I was almost certain that the first seller was a scammer, so imagine my surprise when I received the top three necklaces today!  I won more from him, so I'm happy that those are actually coming.

Monday, August 18, 2014

Shourouk dupe necklace:  $6.66 (BIN:  $10+)
Pink crystal necklace:  $2.47 (BIN:  $7.99)

J.Crew bubble bib necklace dupe:  $1.29 (BIN:  $6.99+)
Black gem collar:  $3.06
Gem rope necklace:  $2.39 (BIN:  $10.99)

All off eBay.

And all great.  Yay!  I'm happy I got most of them for so cheap.  I'm really happy about the black gem collar, it's way better than I thought!  It's Zara quality...just gorgeous!

Bag of toys:  $3.99 for all @ Talize

Well, there was way more than that, but it was nothing I wanted.  I only really wanted the Licca...I think she's early fourth generation!  I don't have any others in that style.

Her face is so sweet, but it's too bad her mouth looks smeared!  I think she might have had real makeup on her.

She looks better after a washing, but her mouth still looks a bit stained.  I wouldn't have wanted to pay that much for her alone, but with all of the neat furniture, it was a decent deal.

That throne is awesome!  It actually doubles as storage.  The seat lifts up, then there's a compartment below that.  It's a disney toy, but I can't find where it came from.

Bestini Paris - Wool suit:  $6.50 @ Talize (4 days)

It looked great in the store but at home, I wasn't so sure about the shoulders.  I still might return it.

Shourouk Fawcett pearl gem collar dupe:  $5.79 (BIN:  $20.95+)
Floral gem necklace:  $1.99 (BIN:  $3.99)
Gem bib necklace:  $1.29 (BIN:  $5.99)

Green flower bib necklace:  $2.25 (BIN:  $9.99+)
Brown necklace:  $1.04 (Highest:  $3.24)
Gold rose necklace:  $4.76 (BIN:  $16.99+)

Red gem jewelry set:  $1.25 (BIN:  $8.99)

All off eBay.

So happy about that first necklace!  It's even more beautiful than I imagined.  I'm glad I got it for a reasonable price.

I love that rose necklace too.  Turns out it's a dupe of this Oscar de la Renta gold rose necklace (retailed for $695!):

Except for the centers being a bit different, they do look nearly the same!  I wish I paid less though, since I did see someone win it for less than $4 since.

Regina maxi dress in green and yellow (RSP:  $4.99 - $88 each)

$8.39 for both @ Beyond the Rack

For some reason I had a $10 credit, and the happened to be having a final clearance right now!  I'm so glad I bothered to look.

I got the green one right away, but it was hard to find something else that was worth it.  They normally only have one of each item, and they're reserved for 20 minutes whenever someone adds them to their cart.

Luckily, the yellow one became available again and I snatched it up.  Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have bought either of them.  You can only apply the credit to the actual price of the merchandise, not the shipping or the tax.  $8 for one dress isn't really a deal, but $4 is!

They also included a ton of samples:

They did mention it in the checkout, but I thought it'd only be one or two things.  This was a nice surprise!

Enamel parrot ring:  $.99 (Highest:  $2.25)
Multi chain gem necklace:  $1.25 (BIN:  $3.99)
Huge blue gem necklace:  $1.56 (Highest:  $5.55)
White gem necklace:  $1.30 (BIN:  $4.87)

All off eBay.

It took months to win that parrot ring!  I'm glad I ended up winning for its base price.  That's never happened before!

2 pack of socks:  $1.25 each @ Dollarama
Gold plate leopard head studded belt:  $1.90 @ Ardene

I'm in dire need of socks!  Almost all of mine have holes in them, so I'm going to have to completely replace them all.  These seem like the cheapest ones so far, but I'm still looking.  I think they'll only last about a year, but even my more expensive socks have holes so that's no guarantee.

Almost everything was 80% off at Ardene, which was surprising.  I thought they only went up to 70% off!  Even worse, most of them require buying in bulk.  This one didn't, so I decided I might as well get this.

Friday, August 8, 2014

Turquoise necklace:  $6.50 (BIN:  $18.99)
Floral necklace:  $4.13 (BIN:  $15.99)

Multicolour gem necklace:  $2.14 (BIN:  $8.99)
J.Crew mint stone statement necklace dupe:  $4.36 (BIN:  $9.99)(Original:  $170)
Multicolour gem necklace:  $2.25 (Highest:  $11.99)
Red gem necklace:  $.99
Black/white gem necklace:  $2.30 (Highest:  $3.35)
"J.Crew" purple bubble bib necklace:  $1.54

J.Crew crystal fan necklace dupe:  $2.04 (BIN:  $4.25)
J.Crew crystal fan necklace dupe:  $3.06 (Highest:  $9.99)
Crystal apple ring:  $.99
Peacock ring:  $.99
Turquoise ring:  $1.36
White floral gem collar:  $1.54

All off eBay.

Pretty happy with those rings!  All from the same seller.  I rarely buy rings anywhere else!

Here's a picture of the original mint stone necklace:

I didn't know it was J.Crew dupe when I bought it, but I'm not surprised.  Almost every really gorgeous necklace I see ends up being one!

I just learned that a lot of J.Crew's jewelry is made in China, which is shocking to me.  I thought the high price was because they were made in higher wage countries!

Bag of toys:  $.99
Vintage made in Italy lucite purse:  $5.99

Both @ Value Village.

It's been a long while!  I missed thrifting.  I'd like to go more regularly, but it does feel like a waste of gas when I don't buy anything.  Then when I do buy something, a lot of the times it's overpriced!

Anyway, I was happy with what I found today.  A LPS Blythe was in there...finally!  I haven't found one in ages.

It also came with this neat car.  It turns out it's the Itsy Bitsy Bratz Kool Kat Cruiser:

Even though I've never liked any of the dolls, Bratz always had such neat vehicles!  I wish this one had doors that could open, but at least it looks great.  The trunk does open, and it has all of these cute cat related details!  Paw shaped rear mirrors, and a fish air freshener.

Though...why would a cat drive a car?  Especially one like the above, which doesn't seem to have any limbs.

I always buy any lucite purse I find.  This was a reasonable price to pay, so I'm happy about it.  The colour is gorgeous!

I was going to buy a snakeskin bag for $6.99, but I passed.  Even though it looked unused, it did have some storage wear.

I just thought it was too much to pay for something I would cut up.  I do have some skins in that colour already!  It was kind of an orange colour, really common in vintage skins.

Black Shourouk dupe necklace:  $6.66 (BIN:  $15.99)
Hot pink gem necklace:  $2.01 (BIN:  $4.60)
Blue ASOS insect necklace:  $.44 (BIN:  $2.59)
Orange ASOS insect necklace:  $.34 (BIN:  $2.70)

Another manageable mail day!  I'm happiest about the Shourouk dupe.  I'm trying to get them in every colour!  They look exactly like the original.

Tuesday, August 5, 2014

Gold tassel/gem necklace:  $1.66 (BIN:  $9.50)
Multicolour gem necklace:  $2.06 (Highest:  $7.50)

Pearl bird ring:  $1.33
Blue gem double ring:  $.99

All off eBay.

I'm so happy with that ring!  It's gorgeous in person.  The multicolour gem necklace was also way better than expected.

Red fit and flare halter dress (RSP:  $19)
Cut out floral chiffon dress (RSP:  $29)
Yellow floral strapless dress (RSP:  $19)

$5 each @ Sirens

I'm so glad that the only good Sirens around is near me!  $5 dresses are always worth it.

I really wanted the middle one in a yellow floral print, but they didn't have one in my size left.  I could have gotten it for $5 if I had bought both, but I wasn't crazy about the blue one last time.  Now I wish I picked them up when I had the chance!

They didn't have these other dresses that time though.  I can't wait to see what else they'll have!

Friday, August 1, 2014

Fuchsia gem necklace:  $1.50
Turquoise gem necklace:  $2.06 (Highest:  $2.81)

Both off eBay.

They were both nicer than expected!
