6 x Gillette shave gels:  $1.58 each (RSP:  $3.99)
6 x Old Spice deodorants:  $1.99 each (RSP:  $3.49)
6 x Cover girl eyeshadows:  $3 each (RSP:  $4.99)

Free at Superstore with coupons!

Superstore had some great deals this week so I decided to use up some of my coupons.  For the Old spice, I was able to get them free by stacking a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon!  Luckily I kept some from last month, they were nowhere to be found when this event began.

Same deal with the eyeshadow, except I had to price match first.  In the end with my discount, I made almost $6 on this lot!

Lace underwear - $.50 each @ Lillie & Me

These are the tiniest pairs of underwear I've ever seen!  They almost look like they could be children's sizing, except it would be criminal to dress anyone that young in anything that sexy.

Incidentally, that store does primarily sell children's clothing.  The bill states they're adult clothing and I'd come to that conclusion just by looking at them.

Can you believe that's a medium in China???  It looks to be half the standard small here!

They really stretch a lot, so I decided to take a chance and buy them.

That, and they were very pretty.  Also, the cheapest I've seen underwear like that so far has been twice that price-those didn't even look as nice!  Here's hoping this works out.

Yellow clutch wallet
Black clutch wallet
Lacey bra

$1 each @ EFADS

I wasn't really sure about the wallets since I already have so many.  I relented since I've never seen them there and these were the only ones.  They were also fabric covered which I thought was nice, so I got them.  Maybe I'll decorate them if I get bored.

For some reason, I've really had a hankering for lingerie recently.  Just something lacy and pretty to wear the bed...I'd never depend on dollar store bras for any kind of support, but I thought this was really cute.

If it fits alright I'll probably get more.  I kind of wish I started earlier since I've seen a lot of other cute designs in the past...

Pink leopard print belt (RSP:  $8.50)
Pink leopard print frame clutch wallet (RSP:  $10.50)
Brown leopard print frame clutch wallet (RSP:  $10.50)
Studded red frame clutch wallet (RSP:  $10.50)
Red studded knit gloves (RSP:  $9)

5 for $10 @ Urban Planet

I heard that Winners clearance was starting today, so I went out with that specifically in mind.  That turned out to be a bust, so I'm really glad I went back to Urban Planet even though I didn't feel like it.

I was really surprised to see the clutches so low at the store!  I didn't think they would be that price anywhere besides Claire's, but these one are even better since they have straps attached.  I'm sure they didn't have this sale last time, so I'm happy I came on time.

The gloves didn't really seem worth the price, especially since I've gotten longer brand name gloves for even less.  I relented since I loved the style-that, and there wasn't anything else I liked as much.  I think, in the end, I didn't even have to buy 5 to get that price, so that was pretty clever on their part.

I feel kind of annoyed that I bought these belts when they were 2 for $5-they work out to be $2 each now!

I am glad I bought the silver clasp one, as that one was nowhere to be found.  But there were a ton of the grey ones left so I wish I waited until now to buy it.

There was also a $15 coat I was really eyeing, but the thickness didn't seem worth the price-I really liked it, but it wasn't very warm.  There were $20 coats that were much heavier so I couldn't justify it in the end.

I actually liked the style of some of those $20 coats, but they only had bigger sizes left.  Too bad, I really need some new coats!

Grey lace up/buckle boots:  $9 @ Claire's (RSP:  $36.50)

It took me a really long time to decide on these.  I do like how they look, but they seem kind of plain and unfashionable.  Also, I've gotten way better shoes for even less than these cost!

In the end I relented since they were really comfortable.  I decided that they'd be a step up from the sneakers I normally wear when I don't feel like being too dressy.

I really never thought I'd ever buy shoes from Claire's.  Normally the material is kind of sub par, but these ones seemed to be up to standard.

I'll regret buying them if they're still around during redline season though-$4.50 for them would have been a steal.

Naughty Monkey - Boot Camp - tan open toed boots:  $3.50 @ Liquidation World (RSP:  $94.95)
O'Neill - hammer wetsuit:  $8 @ Liquidation World (RSP:  $94.95)

Went back to this one specifically for the boots.  I'll admit-I was trying to look online for the name of these shoes (I really wish I paid attention to the box in store), and I came across these boots that have been available for over a year.

I didn't realize they used to be so expensive!  I saw them go from $30 all the way down to $3.50 today.  I considered them a few times in between, but passed because I didn't like the open toe design.

I decided to get it anyway, seeing if I could customize it somehow.  Or in case I end up wanting to use it as is sometime.

The wetsuit is also something I considered last time, but passed up.  I thought I might want to use it sometime, since I do want to try out certain water sports someday.  When that time comes, where am I going to find a suit that cheap?

Since it was still there I picked it up.  There was only one left, and it was in my exact size!  Seemed like a sign so I bought it.

Eyebrow shaver
Waist trimmer
Face messager

$1 each @ EFADS.

Funnily enough, I saw an infomercial for the shaver and bought into it.  I was looking for a cheaper alternative, so I'm glad I found one today.

The cheapest I've seen them elsewhere is $3+.  I was this close to buying one, but now I'm really happy I didn't.

The other things I bought on a whim.  My mom bought a face massager recently, so I decided to buy this one since it was half the price hers was.

I also wanted to see if any of the purported benefits turned out to be valid.  I guess we'll see about that.

The waist trimmer ended up being cheap and useless, but I'm pretty happy with the other things I bought.

Charcoal mask:  $2 @ Daiso
Black/grey tank top
Lace boxer briefs

$1 each @ EFADS

I've read good things about this mask so I finally decided to try it.  It says that it can only be used 2 times a week max, so I wonder if I should be alarmed.

I saw the above tank top before, but passed because the material didn't seem that great.  I didn't see it at any of the other EFADS I had visited, so I decided to just try this one out.

Ditto on the briefs.  I didn't see the red ones anywhere else, just the blue ones, so I picked up both when I saw them today-now I have all four!

Naughty Monkey - pony hair slingbacks:  $3 @ Shoe Warehouse (RSP:  $60+)
BCBGirls - pink/white pumps with flower detail:  $3 @ Shoe Warehouse (RSP:  $60+)

3 seems to be the theme for today.  I was really surprised to see these today-I've never seen shoes this cheap at that store!

Even funnier, they were both shoes that I was considering when they were $5.  I passed on them then, but couldn't restrain myself at this price.

I really like the BCBGirls shoes, but they are way too big for me.  I'm hoping I can make them work by putting some padding in them.

Rachael & Chloe - black bustier dress:  $3 @ Winners (RSP:  $40+)

I wasn't planning on going to Winners until final clearance time-my last purchase prompted this visit (since I thought there might be some decent deals to be found).  That, and I was in the area.

I'm so glad I went!  I thought this dress was gorgeous, I couldn't believe it was so cheap.  There was actually one other one that was still $10, and that one was damaged to boot!

Funnily enough, I had really wanted some new dresses lately-I just didn't think things would get rolling this quickly!

Pink vinyl stick on tile paper:  $3 @ MCC Thrift store (RSP:  $20+)
Black quilted heart purse:  $4.35 @ Ardene (RSP:  $14.50)
Grey buckle belt:  $2.50 @ Urban Planet (RSP:  $10)
Silver buckle belt:  $2.50 @ Urban Planet (RSP:  $10)

I didn't really plan on thrifting today, but went since I was in the area.

I was looking for something to line my drawers, but this is actually floor tile...it's my colour, it's way cheaper than the actual liners I considered buying, and there's tons of it!  I think it'll look pretty cool so I don't regret it.

Ardene was having a 70% off sale for most of their items...including this purse I bought previously!  I was pretty cheesed about that.

I considered buying another one, but I didn't think I could add anything to it that would make it look better, or significantly different from the first one.

The material is pretty cheap, but I've wanted a quilted heart purse for a long time.  This one was the last one they had there, and I doubt it would have gone any cheaper anyway.

Though, that style might end up at the clearance outlet for 3 for $10...in that case, I'll probably be kicking myself again!

Finally, the belts are from Urban Planet-it's the first time I've shopped there!  It seems pretty similar to the other cheap clubbing clothes offered at the mall, except their sales never seem that great.

I've paid $2 or less for similar belts, so I was a bit hesitant at first.  I finally relented since I really like the styles, and I didn't have anything in that colour or style.  They rang up higher than listed, so luckily I was paying attention!

The reason for all of the deals?  The mall had a sidewalk sale!  A really lucky coincidence, since I was planning on coming back here for a while.  Made it on the first day!

Cameo necklaces:  $1 each @ EFADS

I actually came here to see if they had restocked their clutches, but I was surprised with these ones instead!

I already have a bunch of them, but I wanted them in different colours.  I bought at least two of each-one to use as is, and one to use as a decoration somewhere.

Pink rosette trim tank:  $4.99 @ Urban Behavior (RSP:  $32.80)
White lace box clutch:  $4.99 @ Urban Behavior (RSP:  $25.80)
Blue evening box purse:  $1.99 @ Bentley's (RSP:  $11.99)

I don't normally like paying that much for a top, but I really liked that one-the colour, style, everything!  I would preferred a smaller size (the above is a medium), but that was the only one they had left.

I'm really happy about the clutch.  I've always wanted one of that type, but around $5 is my cap for a purse of that size.

I saw one for $7 that I was considering from another store, but it was all black so the lace pattern was obscured.  They were also all sold out when I went back the next day!  This one only had two of the above there.

The last purse is pretty no frills, but I don't have any box purses like that.  I definitely wouldn't have paid more for that kind of quality.  I plan on decorating it with flowers when I have time.

Sweet child - white military coat:  $10 @ Winners (RSP:  $60+)

This is basically too lightweight to even be considered a jacket, but I'm sure there are times when you need something like this!

I had been eyeing it for a while, but was waiting for it to come down to a decent price.  When I saw it for $10 today, i decided to pick it up.  I wonder if it'll go any cheaper.

There was another coat I wanted to buy, but all of the buttons were gone except for one!  They weren't willing to go any lower, so I put it back.  If it does go lower, I'm sure I'll pick it up.

3 Chadwicks - pink pinstripe pants:  $.70 each @ Liquidation World (RSP:  $39.99)
American Eagle jeans:  $2.10 @ Liquidation World (RSP:  $50+)
Paper Denim & Cloth - sienna straight leg jeans:  $1.40 @ Liquidation World (RSP:  $110)
Fruit of the Loom underwear:  $.35 each @ Liquidation World (RSP:  $3.99)

The pinstripe pants are the same ones I bought here.  That one developed a faulty zipper so I planned to get more when the price went down...there were exactly as many left as before!

I guess nobody else is into this style.  I'm planning on making one into a pair of shorts, another into cargo pants, and the other into skinny pants.

I thought these $3 jeans were a steal, so I was surprised to see them go even lower today!  I don't regret buying the other ones though, they didn't have any of those styles left today.

They had a lot of really ugly ones with pockets in the front, had to pass those up.  The one I bought was the only decent one left..only problem was it was a size 4.  My actual size, but the size 2's I bought in that brand fit me last time!

I bought them anyway since they were in really good condition, and I knew they would fit in any case.  They had a size 0 in that same style left, but it wasn't in good condition..and I wasn't sure how accurate the sizing was, so I didn't want to risk it.

I've been waiting for the other jeans to go down for so long!  I thought they were pretty nice looking, and it seemed like a good brand.  I just didn't want to pay that much, and I'm really glad I didn't.

Satin care shave gels (RSP:  $3 each)
Venus embrace razors (RSP:  $15.99 each)
Secret deodorant (RSP:  $3+ each)
Old spice deodorant and body wash (RSP:  $3-$6 each)

$10.76 for all @ London Drugs (RSP:  $110+)

Today was kind of exciting-it was my first time doing a somewhat sizeable stacking trip!  It was really exhilarating seeing the total go from over $100 down to around $10.

Some stores even let the coupons be applied to the taxes, but this one wouldn't let me.  I thought I got a really good deal already, but it sort of stings knowing people at some different stores are actually paid money to take away the above.

Well, at least I'm set for this year.  The Old Spice stuff was for my brother.

Pink silicone bracelet watch:  $.01 @ Brands Dragon
Iridescent grey/black rose clutch:  $5.99
Star projector:  $4.99
Love star projector:  $4.89

All off Ebay

I love stars and planetariums, so I basically freaked out when I discovered these!  I've always considered buying one of those home planetarium type toys, but the price was a deterrent.

These ones have better designs and a multicolour LED function, plus they were reasonably priced..so I had to get them!

This is what the love one looks like:

I had some reservations because of the tacky backwards text, but I thought it might be fixable, which it was!  I'm really happy with this one.

This is what the one I received projects:

The other one I bought was supposed to be a more realistic starry sky, but the seller sent me the wrong one!  This is the one I was supposed tor receive:

I was actually considering the one I received, but I didn't need two that were that similar.  I really hope the seller will do something to remedy this!

Shirts:  $2 each @ Bluenotes (RSP:  $10-$12)
Missco Girl - heart shaped quilted coin purses:  $1.75 each @ Forecast (RSP:  $8.50)
Glade air freshener sprays - apple cinnamon - hawaiian breeze - $.12 each @ Wal Mart (RSP:  $2 each)

It's pretty much the same as this Forever 21 shirt, except it doesn't have the dumb bow tie:

They had the blue one shown on that same site, plus a grey one with yellow detailing.  I was considering getting them, but the shirt isn't really my style in the first place..I just thought it would be cute to have a fake polo shirt, and black is always wearable.  I definitely wouldn't have bought it if it didn't have the horse at the front.

I really considered getting the other ones too, but I passed because I didn't like the colour combinations.  I don't really wear dark blue that much..I like grey, but I thought the yellow insignia was clashing.  Plus, like I said, I don't really wear that style anyway, so one shirt seemed like enough.

Additionally, all of them (including the one I purchased) were a size small..which is normally my size, except this store is crazy small!  I ended up getting large for most of the other shirts.

The shorter sleeve tops look just like this:

I bought that one in grey, red, and dark blue.  I would have bought more if they had other colours, the style is really flattering!  A shame that they only came in small as well.

The other long sleeve shirts are form fitting v necks..I wouldn't have bought them if they weren't so awesomely striped.  I actually had to refrain myself from buying more!

The glade sprays were cheap because I had a coupon, and I ended up getting those heart change purses just as surmised in my last post.

Black rose frame clutch wallet:  $4.54 (RSP:  $18.25) @ Claire's
Missco Girl - Black star change purse:  $1.75 (RSP:  $8) @ Forecast
Missco Girl - Pink star change purse:  $1 (RSP:  $8) @ Forecast

Sidewalk sale today!  I was actually hoping to get some boot covers I saw previously at Claire's, but sadly, they were gone.

Luckily they replenished their stocks and had more interesting things for sale.  It was a bit more than I wanted to pay since it's already frayed in some places, but I'm just such a sucker for roses.

I'd been eyeing those change purses for a while.  I didn't think it was worth it for their original price, but I couldn't find anything online cheaper.

When I saw that everything in this store was half off the lowest price today, I finally took the plunge.  I still don't really think they were worth it, but I just loved the shape.

The pink one was cheaper because the zipper is kind of broken, I probably shouldn't have bought it, but I managed to negotiate a discount.

There was a heart one that I really wanted as well, but in the end I passed because the shape was a little off.  Not as round at the tops as I would have liked....but I might end up buying them if they're still there next time.

Long sleeve t shirts:  $2.50 each @ Suzy Shier (RSP:  $15)

I never shop here, but I thought these were worth it!  Most shirts that cheap are really thin and ugly...these are pretty basic shirts, but I don't have any in this style.  I definitely wouldn't have paid more than that.

All of them are turtlenecks except the one up front.  They look like this Forever 21 top:

Except most of them are ribbed, only the beige one isn't.

I really wish I didn't buy the white one, since it's a bit see through.  I didn't have time to try them all, so I just tried a bunch of different sizes of one type (the others were fine).

These shirts are stupidly small!  I ended up getting a large for one of them, medium for the rest.  I normally take a small....the grey shirt up front is an extra small, and it's almost the same size as the mediums in the other style!

When I checked out, the clerk said I could get 10% off the next time for completing the survey.  I kind of wish I only bought one shirt now, since I never buy anything there, and the 10% still applies on sale items!

Black kisslock bow purse:  $6.19 @ Claire's (RSP:  $25)
Alice in wonderland - driving gloves:  $2.99 @ Claire's (RSP:  $14.99)

This particular mall was having a sidewalk sale-it started the day after I went last time!  It ends soon, so I just had to go check it out.

It was disappointing, but at least I found the above. I already intended to purchase those gloves after passing them up last time. They just didn't seem worth it since similar gloves were only a third of the price.

They were still on my mind, and since I can't get them cheaper elsewhere...I decided to 'splurge'.  Now I wish I also bought the red ones (same style, colours reversed) that were available a while back.

Love the purse!  The huge kisslock closure is a really neat touch, I wouldn't have bought it otherwise.

Black ruffled bag : $5 @ Icing by Claire's (RSP: $41)
Grey sequin jewelry box:  $2.19 @ Claire's (RSP:  $18.25)
Kiss lock coin purses:  $1 each @ EFADS

Just as planned, I went to the last EFADS in my area.  I saw these little change purses that I just had to pick up.

I left behind a brown crocodile skin one, the material just didn't do anything for me.  I actually saw one of those at another store I went to, but didn't think much about the other possibilities.

They're pretty small, and they don't really seem worth it compared to the other ones I've gotten.

The sparkly star one I just had to have!  It's glittery black with hard foil stars interspersed throughout.  I love stars, and liked that it had a sort of astronomical presentation.

I'm also a sucker for shiny gold and silver.   Just something about how shiny they are perks me up and makes me happy.  I really don't think I'll get any more though, even if there are other types.

I'm really hoping to get more of the bigger clutches though.  Those ones are totally worth it!  The clerk said they would definitely get more in, but she didn't know when.

I would have been absolutely in love with the black purse if it were smaller.  I do like the design, but it's huge!  I bought it anyway, since I'm sure my mom would love it if I didn't.

The jewelry box was bought on a whim.  I thought it might have been an additional half off, but the price was already pretty cheap anyway.  I wish it was shinier, so I might give it to my friend instead.

Tuesday, January 4, 2011

Black footless tights with red hearts:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)
Grey footless tights:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)
Red studded gloves:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)
Black studded/gemmed gloves:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $10.75)
Black studded gloves:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $10.75)
Black lace up gloves:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)
Vinyl lips pouch:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)
Silver sequin manicure set:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $8.50)
Silver/clear flower ring:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $10.75)
Lucite zipper bangle:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)

That's right, another ten for ten!  I'm really glad I went to this one-almost half the store was on sale!  I was really surprised to see that, as most of the other stores I visited were pretty cleared out.

There were two pairs of Alice in Wonderland gloves I was hoping I could buy, but sadly, they were no longer there.  At least there were some other ones that weren't there previously.

I really love the jewelry this time!  The ring is the same as the coral one I bought a while back, but I prefer this one.  Clear things edged in silver just have such a cool futuristic look to them.

I just found the bracelet so neat!  It's pretty much a zipper encased in lucite, except professionally executed.  I actually ended up getting it free!

I didn't notice until later that the cashier didn't ring it in.  I really didn't think about it, since I thought the prices automatically changed when the correct number was reached.

Joy & Peace - Planet 23 - Burnished brown mid calf boots:  $5 @ Shoe Warehouse (RSP:  $89.95)

I passed these up the last time I went here, but I felt compelled to buy them today.  Probably because the last couple of visits have been disappointing...the stock hasn't changed much, and the pricing hasn't been as good.

Since they were so cheap, I ended up picking them up.  I plan on giving them to a friend, since she was checking them out last time.

Lace boxer briefs
Taffeta change clutches

All $1 each @ EFADS.

I love that the stock isn't thoroughly consistent across this chain.  I've never seen the above anywhere-since I wasn't going to come back here in a while, I had to snag the above!

The clutches were no brainers, except for the grey one.  That was the one I wanted the most, but it was open and slightly dirty.  I wasn't sure if I would see it again, so it came home with me.

For the red one, I got the last one!  I know there was a black one, and now I wonder what other colours these were available in.

These came in two shapes-the ones above, and a rectangular shape.  I really didn't care for that shape for some reason, but I was instantly drawn to the trapezoid ones above.

The briefs-I haven't seen those elsewhere either.  I'm not going to be using them as intended, I just plan to wear them in additional to another undergarment when I wear a dress.  They're short, cute, and discreet!

They also came in blue and red, I kind of wonder if I should have gotten those as well.  Now I really want to check out the other ones to see if they have hidden gems as well.

Camouflage rubber rain boots:  $3 @ Salvation Army (RSP:  $10+)
Gold clutch:  $1 @ EFADS
Blue bunny shoes:  $1 @ EFADS

After the last visit, I just had to go back for the other colours.  They had other clutch colours previously, but really tacky shades of green and purple that were easy to pass up.

Also went to Salvation Army on a whim.  For personal items, I don't like buying them used.  They sometimes have new stock, and this was one of those cases.

All throughout the summer they had several for $3.99, but I didn't feel compelled to buy them then.  Funny how I felt the urge after only one pair in this style was left.  I've got a thing for camouflage.

The best part is, there's no tax at that store anymore!  $3 for them was a steal, whereas their first price was already a pretty good deal.  Now I wonder if they'll be discounted any more, except this was the only pattern I liked.
