Combat Boots:  3 pairs for $17.25 including shipping (!) @ Claires (RSP:  $60-$125 each)

I was so surprised when I saw this!  I thought for sure it was a mistake, but it was such a good deal, I thought I might as well try.

All of their clearance stuff was 3 for $5...these included!  Shipping was $12 for anything to my country.  I waited a week and my shipping status never changed.  Well after a few days it said "despatched" under the item description, but the shipping status still said "not shipped"!

Then today I ended up getting a package and they were here.  It took about a week.  I really didn't think it would come so I was pretty happy.

They sent me the wrong size though, for all three pairs!  I ordered up for comfort, but they sent me my actual size, a size and a half smaller than I ordered.  Thankfully I can still use them.

My only other option would have been to return them for a refund anyway, which I definitely didn't want to do.

I found so many other stock images on the internet and they all look so different:

These are all brown ones too!

The last one is from Claire's, and I think the only real picture of it.  That is exactly how it looks!

I was surprised that this was sold for $100 US at nordstrom rack.  The regular price at Claire's ($50US) was already half that price!

This is the first time I've seen branded footwear at Claire's anyway.  Usually it's their own store brand.

Despite being sold at Nordstrom rack, I think the quality is just the same as the cheaper mall brands.  No complaints for the price I paid though!

Ninja cat ipad case:  $1 (RSP:  $21.50)
Holographic glasses eyeshadow palette:  $1 (RSP:  $8.50)

Both @ Claire's

I rarely shop here, but the sales were good so I popped in.  Most of the sale stuff was $2, and then they were having a buy 3 get 3 free sale!  I combined with a friend to get this stuff even cheaper.

I don't have an ipad, but I thought I could use it for something.

Ramones t-shirt:  $2 @ Claire's (RSP:  $22.75)

I'm always embarrassed to shop here, but I do because I know there are still some adult appropriate items in there.

Like this shirt!  This wouldn't be out of place anywhere else.  I like some of their songs, plus I liked the graphic, so I was alright with buying it.

This shirt is actually longer in the back than in the front!  None of my other shirts are like that.  It's a good idea...it covers your butt.

Ironically, this shirt is way oversized!  Claire's sizing is usually smaller than normal, but I could fit into their small/medium.  I hope it doesn't shrink!

Studded wallet:  $2 @ Claire's (RSP:  $13.75)

The rest were freebies.  The one from L'Occitane en Provence was a great one, since it scanned in at $12!  It was a facebook offer...they've had it for a week, but I didn't want to go just for that.  I'm so glad they still had some left.

You could choose between a 7.5 ml Jasmine and Bergamot eau de toilette, or a 35 ml almond shower oil.  Well, I'm a sucker for perfume so it was an easy choice.

I never shop at Claire's anymore, since it seems like their target age range goes down every year!  The person shopping next to me this time was a 7 year old...seriously.

This wallet was probably the only thing on sale that didn't look completely childish.  It was totally worth the two bucks!

Patent bow lock purse:  $5.09 @ Claire's.

Some retail therapy today. I didn`t think I`d buy anything, but I`m glad I decided to take a look.

I have a bigger bag in the same design, but it was almost the same price so I hesitated a bit.

This one`s pretty tiny, but it`s practically a wallet with a shoulder strap.  I don`t have any purses with built in card compartments so that clinched it.

Leopard print purse:  $4.49 (RSP:  $18.25)
Leopard print belt:  $1.59 (RSP:  $13.25)

Both @ Claire's.

I`m definitely sensing a trend here.  The purse is pretty tiny, but I`m a sucker for leopard print.

Glamazon princess boots:  $11 @ Claire's (RSP:  $36.50)

I was hoping I would find these boots in my size!  Sadly I did-my exact size, that is.

I prefer a size above for comfort, but couldn't bear to leave these behind.  Official photos:

I'm going to be kicking myself if I do find them in my preferred size later on.

They fit as is, but they'd be so much more comfortable with insoles.

Road Raider boots:  $11 @ Claire's (RSP:  $36.50)

Same conundrum as the last post.  I really had a hard time deciding on these.  I like how they look, but I've gotten much better shoes for less than this.

They're going to need some work, but I think they'll be worthwhile.  I'm planning on making them thigh high length, they're way too short as is.  Official photos:

And so concludes another year of shopping.  Next year I'll try to be less impulsive and only buy items that I really love/will use regularly...online anyway.

Quilted bow/lock purse:  $6.79 (RSP:  $32)

Heart notebook w/pen (RSP:  $5)
Bow fishnet tights (RSP:  $9.75)
Rose socks (RSP:  $7.25)
Glittery pink mood nail polish (RSP:  $5.75)
Pink mood nail polish (RSP:  $5.75)
Carved flower bracelet (RSP:  $8)
Carved flower heart ring (RSP:  $7.25)
Cameo flower earrings:  (RSP:  $9.75)
Heart mirror (RSP:  $6.25)
Letter mirror (RSP:  $6.25)

10 for $10 @ Claire's.

I initially noticed the carved bracelet, but didn't think it was worth scrambling to find ten worthwhile items just for that.

Then I found that adorable letter themed mirror.  Then the beautiful cameo earrings.  That's when I decided it would be worthwhile to do a ten for ten.

I'm really glad I did, since I found some gems I wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

Like the mood nail polish - I've wanted that for ages, but never wanted to pay full price.

I almost did a few times but ended up being too lazy to go, which really worked out in my favour.  These shades are even better than the ones I planned on buying!

Black flower belt (RSP:  $11.50)
Pink plaid/pink flower skinny belt duo (RSP:  $11.50)
Pink lace fingerless gloves (RSP:  $7.25)
Flower compact (RSP:  $4.50)
White sunglasses (RSP:  $9.75)
Studded black gloves (RSP:  $9.75)
Lace/pleather gloves (RSP:  $9.75)
Card suit gloves (RSP:  $9.75)
Hello Kitty purse (RSP:  $11.50)

10 for $10 @ Claire's.

I spent soooo long at this location...I really only wanted the lace/pleather gloves, the sunglasses, and the compact (it's also a handy pop out brush!)-I wanted them so much I decided it was worth it to pad out my order.

It took until closing time for me to decide-I'm satisfied with what I picked out, except I wish I didn't pick up the studded gloves.  I forgot that I already had them in that colour, and these ones have some missing studs that I didn't notice at the time.

I wish I picked up another pair of lace/pleather gloves, since the seem is coming undone at one of the fingers.

I also wouldn't have minded a backup pair, since these are comfortable and look great...whereas the other ones are uncomfortably tight.  Oh well, live and learn!

I don't really care for Hello Kitty, but I didn't think anything else there was worth it.  I'll probably see if I can give it to someone who's into that sort of thing.

Drag Me to Hell bluray:  $3 @ Blockbuster (RSP: $9.99)
The Host dvd:  $2.09 @ Blockbuster (RSP: $6.99)
Black shirred halter dress:  $5.99 @ Angela Fashions (RSP:  $12.99)
Lace rosette bib necklace:  $2.79 @ Claire's (RSP:  $21)
Purple shirred halter dress:  $5.99 @ Angela Fashions (RSP:  $12.99)

I liked that dress so much, I decided to get it in all available colours-heaven help me if there end up being more.

I don't normally like paying that much for a necklace from Claire's, but I was just so smitten with this one-it's so pretty!  I know I could make one myself, but with the time and effort it would take to source the materials....I decided to just pay the three bucks.

I went to Blockbuster to use my gift card before the store closed down, but sadly, they weren't accepting them.

I don't normally buy movies, but I just loved these ones...they were movies I would watch more than once, so I picked them up since they were cheap.  I definitely wouldn't have been willing to pay more than I did.

Rhinestone buckled hat:  $2 @ Claire's (RSP:  $20.50)
Red plaid hat w/bow detailing:  $2 @ Claire's (RSP:  $13.75)
Porcelain flower candle holder:  $1 @ Chinatown (RSP:  $2+)

I happened to be in Chinatown yesterday, and I also noticed that Claire's was having a 10 for $10 plus other sales-I had to check out my local ones today!  I passed up a red brocade fedora (still not sure if that was a mistake) so I had to snatch this one up.  The other one was just so squished it was structurally damaged, I didn't think it was worth it.

Found the candle holder at a little hole in the wall shop.   It was pretty and cheap so it came home with me.

Grey clutch:  $1.59 (RSP:  $18.25)

Pink polka dot tutu (RSP:  $9.75)
Skull/lip cuff (RSP:  $7.25)
Chiffon headband (RSP:  $9.75)
Black snakeskin belt (RSP:  $11.50)
3 x lace ankle socks (RSP:  $7.25)
Black studded belt (RSP:  $11.50)
2 x Panda soap + soap dispensers (RSP:  $9.75)

10 for $10 @ Claire's.

Geez I was a sucker today.  I fell in love with the chiffon headband and had to have it-I just didn't want to pay $5 for it!  I stayed there an unbearably long time trying to pick items to round out my bill.

I did want one of the ankle socks but normally wouldn't have bought three...I considered the soap dispenser before but thought it was kind of childish.  Still ended up with two!

The snakeskin belt I would have bought if I didn't already have a ton of similar ones....same with the other belt.  At least I managed to give away one of the belts.

I really wish I didn't have to load up on unnecessary things-if only they had a better selection!  I just had to have that headband.  Something in me couldn't leave it behind.  I'm really not too fond of the cuff now and I probably won't have any use for the tutu, so maybe I'll give those away too.

Red lingerie set:  $2.06 off Ebay
Black rose clutch:  $2.27 @  Claire's (RSP:  $18.25)
Silver heart clutch:  $2.19 @ Claire's (RSP:  $18.25)
Striped skirt:  $2.19 @ Claire's (RSP:  $18.25)

I really wish I didn't buy that clutch a while back-I still haven't used it!  I think it's gorgeous, but of course I wouldn't have picked it up if I knew I could have gotten it for half the price....so I bought another one in case something happens to that one :x.

I probably shouldn't have bought the skirt.  I thought I could use it on Halloween, but now I think it would have been better to leave it behind.

Love the heart clutch though!  Glad I was able to find it in another colour, though I was surprised it ended up being almost twice the price.

White metal jewelry holder:  $2.59 (RSP:  $21)
Metal leaf jewelry holder:  $2.19 (RSP:  $18.25)
Hat w/zipper flower:  $2.49 (RSP:  $20.50)
Jeggings:  $2.49 (RSP:  $18.25)
Sequin heart clutches:  $1.39 each (RSP:  $18.25)
Bow necklace:  $1.99 (RSP:  $16.50)

All at Claire's.

Claire's is having another 10 for $10 sale-this time,  the other redline reductions are 75% off!  Always great deals when that comes around.

I'm really happy with the heart clutches-they're gorgeous!  I was going to get two of them but since they were so cheap I got all 4...in case I needed back ups :o.

I kind of wonder if I should make my way out to the other Claire's.   I'm really curious to know what the other ones have!

Light up heart:  $.99 @ Wal Mart (RSP:  $3.96)
Tights, gloves, metal flower headband:  10 for $10 @ Claire's (RSP:  $100)

I love Claire's ten for ten's!  When I heard they were having one from a forum I frequent, I just had to check out my local one-I was not disappointed!  I just wish I didn't buy so many online recently for twice the price.

I was so overzealous about it, I went out of the way to the next closest Claire's to me-also because there was an icing in that mall.

That ended up being really disappointing, a total waste of time.  Even worse since I had to go to work after, and I would have rather rested at home if I knew things would turn out that way.

Thought the heart was cool so I bought it.  I'm pretty sure I could have gotten it for the same price online, but then I would have had to wait a month!  No thanks.

Grey lace up/buckle boots:  $9 @ Claire's (RSP:  $36.50)

It took me a really long time to decide on these.  I do like how they look, but they seem kind of plain and unfashionable.  Also, I've gotten way better shoes for even less than these cost!

In the end I relented since they were really comfortable.  I decided that they'd be a step up from the sneakers I normally wear when I don't feel like being too dressy.

I really never thought I'd ever buy shoes from Claire's.  Normally the material is kind of sub par, but these ones seemed to be up to standard.

I'll regret buying them if they're still around during redline season though-$4.50 for them would have been a steal.

Black kisslock bow purse:  $6.19 @ Claire's (RSP:  $25)
Alice in wonderland - driving gloves:  $2.99 @ Claire's (RSP:  $14.99)

This particular mall was having a sidewalk sale-it started the day after I went last time!  It ends soon, so I just had to go check it out.

It was disappointing, but at least I found the above. I already intended to purchase those gloves after passing them up last time. They just didn't seem worth it since similar gloves were only a third of the price.

They were still on my mind, and since I can't get them cheaper elsewhere...I decided to 'splurge'.  Now I wish I also bought the red ones (same style, colours reversed) that were available a while back.

Love the purse!  The huge kisslock closure is a really neat touch, I wouldn't have bought it otherwise.

Black ruffled bag : $5 @ Icing by Claire's (RSP: $41)
Grey sequin jewelry box:  $2.19 @ Claire's (RSP:  $18.25)
Kiss lock coin purses:  $1 each @ EFADS

Just as planned, I went to the last EFADS in my area.  I saw these little change purses that I just had to pick up.

I left behind a brown crocodile skin one, the material just didn't do anything for me.  I actually saw one of those at another store I went to, but didn't think much about the other possibilities.

They're pretty small, and they don't really seem worth it compared to the other ones I've gotten.

The sparkly star one I just had to have!  It's glittery black with hard foil stars interspersed throughout.  I love stars, and liked that it had a sort of astronomical presentation.

I'm also a sucker for shiny gold and silver.   Just something about how shiny they are perks me up and makes me happy.  I really don't think I'll get any more though, even if there are other types.

I'm really hoping to get more of the bigger clutches though.  Those ones are totally worth it!  The clerk said they would definitely get more in, but she didn't know when.

I would have been absolutely in love with the black purse if it were smaller.  I do like the design, but it's huge!  I bought it anyway, since I'm sure my mom would love it if I didn't.

The jewelry box was bought on a whim.  I thought it might have been an additional half off, but the price was already pretty cheap anyway.  I wish it was shinier, so I might give it to my friend instead.

Black footless tights with red hearts:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)
Grey footless tights:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)
Red studded gloves:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)
Black studded/gemmed gloves:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $10.75)
Black studded gloves:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $10.75)
Black lace up gloves:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)
Vinyl lips pouch:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)
Silver sequin manicure set:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $8.50)
Silver/clear flower ring:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $10.75)
Lucite zipper bangle:  $1 @ Claire's (RSP:  $9.75)

That's right, another ten for ten!  I'm really glad I went to this one-almost half the store was on sale!  I was really surprised to see that, as most of the other stores I visited were pretty cleared out.

There were two pairs of Alice in Wonderland gloves I was hoping I could buy, but sadly, they were no longer there.  At least there were some other ones that weren't there previously.

I really love the jewelry this time!  The ring is the same as the coral one I bought a while back, but I prefer this one.  Clear things edged in silver just have such a cool futuristic look to them.

I just found the bracelet so neat!  It's pretty much a zipper encased in lucite, except professionally executed.  I actually ended up getting it free!

I didn't notice until later that the cashier didn't ring it in.  I really didn't think about it, since I thought the prices automatically changed when the correct number was reached.

Joy & Peace - Planet 23 - Burnished brown mid calf boots:  $5 @ Shoe Warehouse (RSP:  $89.95)

I passed these up the last time I went here, but I felt compelled to buy them today.  Probably because the last couple of visits have been disappointing...the stock hasn't changed much, and the pricing hasn't been as good.

Since they were so cheap, I ended up picking them up.  I plan on giving them to a friend, since she was checking them out last time.
