I've considered paying $13 at Winners for the rose quartz, but now I'm glad I didn't!  I'd much rather pay this price.  I was waiting for the right specimen before throwing down at winners.

This tealight holder is way better than the ones I got at Winners, because it goes all the way down to the bottom.  It looks beautiful lit up!  The other one is just at the top, so it doesn't illuminate anything.

The box is missing the first drawer, but it was so pretty...thought I could still use it for that price.

I've never seen such expensive chocolates.  I admit, it was the beautiful box that caught my eye!

Then I saw how expensive it was.  It was clearanced to an ordinary price so I thought it was worth trying.  I have three months to try it!

Finally!  I've seen these in the US for months, but this is the first time I've seen them here.  They're really cute and nice for the price.

They had some other buddha figures for $4, but I didn't think they were that nice.  Plus they had no function.  At least these ones hold candles!  They were made in the same style, the faces don't look that great.

I was so psyched when I saw that buddha head!  They're usually around $12.99 for that size.  Even the small heads I've seen before were $6.99, so I snatched this up right away!

I thought the elephant was interesting, but I might end up returning it.

Finally!  I've been looking for a buddha figure for a while, but they're all super overpriced for some reason.  The cheapest one I've seen has been $6 for a head, and $8 for a full body figure like this one.

I thought they were supposed to be candle holders, but the holes are too small.  I'm not sure why they made them like that.  It's too impractical to hold anything else!   I'm using them as holders anyway:

I wonder if this is a new item and the other stores will have them soon. This is the first and only time I've seen them anywhere.

Funnily enough, I saw almost the exact same figure at Winners for $10!  Less than an hour before I found these.  The grey one...the figure was the same size and had a similar look too, but it was sitting on a circular base that was probably 6" across.

I thought it was nice, but I didn't want to pay that much.  I'm glad it worked out!

I've seen these at winners for a long time, but they're always around $10 or more.  The lowest one I saw was $9 on clearance.  I didn't really want to pay that much...at the time I was more interested in having a lamp.

Well, now I'm obsessed with candles, and I want a candle holder over a lamp!  I saw that they were at London Drugs for $5.99, regular price!  That's so much lower than anywhere else I've seen.

Even on the manufacturer's website, they're $7.50 each!  I think that's the first time I've seen a retailer sell something below the manufacturer's suggested price.

Anyway, they only had a picture of the box on LD's website, and the one pictured didn't look very nice:

I saw there were four in stock at the one near me, so I decided to take a look.

Turns out there was such a variation!  One was huge...it was too big for the box!  I thought it was kind of unsightly, I didn't like it.

Another one was tiny...almost half the size of the one I ended up getting.  Two of them were the size and shape I wanted (roughly round), but one didn't have much colouring, so it was an easy choice.

I got $5 off by using my LD rewards birthday gift, so it ended up being an amazing deal!

It looks beautiful in use too.  It also came with a tea light candle, which wasn't the case with any of the other ones I've seen.  It only lasted around 3 hours, but no complaints for a free candle!

I wanted to get more of those 3 wick candles, so I stopped in here.  I saw that those huge candles were unbelievably cheap, so I picked up one of each!  I was taking transit so I left the other ones I wanted behind..these were heavy!

Those tea lights were also pretty cheap (but didn't smell cheap!), but I left behind a "cheesecake" one that didn't smell like anything good.

Anyway, they all scanned in wrong and had to be price checked.  The huge candles were coming up at $5.97...the same price as the first superstore, but the signs were clearly there!  The tea lights were coming up at $3.67.

Well I ended up getting one of each for free, so the haul was even more of an amazing deal!  Oh happy day.

I still want to stock up on those 3 wick candles before the sale ends!

It's such great timing!  Recently I've become obsessed with candles, and superstore just happened to have them for 40% off this week.

I've been looking around for affordable options, but I heard that all of the dollar store ones are universally crap.  Most of them smell horrible, but some are actually decent.  Still, for the price it didn't seem worth the try.

These ones are even cheaper in comparison!  Their store brand is usually better than dollar store junk, so I thought it was worth a try.  They all smell so great too, especially the last two.

I actually left one in a closed room and it ended up scenting the whole room!  I was excited the scent was that strong.  I wonder how long it'll last.
