"Dainty biscuit" Blythe doll:  $14.99 @ Salvation Army

I was really surprised to see this today!  I saw it from far away and assumed it was one of those cheap knockoffs.  Imagine my surprise when she ended up being real!

They had her with the good stuff behind the cash register, so I wonder how they determined the price.  I think it's kind of high for something from there, but of course way low considering how much she's worth.

I can't find any recent auctions but the new ones are all being sold for around $400+!  Well, I haven't seen them sell at that price so I don't know what she goes for.  I'm sure she'd be at least $100 in this condition.

But....my last one was complete with box and I only paid $7 for that one.  Doesn't seem as good a deal in comparison :P.

She has a hair cut and someone cut off her pull ring too!  The string is just about shoulder height.  I really don't see who would give a kid a doll this expensive.

Well, she's mine now, and I'm glad.  Now if I could only find a Kenner!

Bag of three LPS Blythe:  $3.99 @ Value Village

I haven't gone in a while, and I'm not as into them....but I couldn't resist.

Lot of LPS Blythe dolls:  $3.99 for all @ Talize

They came in a big bag of toys, but there was nothing else I wanted.  I didn't really want to pay that much, but I haven't found them in a while, and I couldn't resist.

Barbie scooter

LPS "Totally talented" Blythe

$1.99 @ Value Village

Too lazy to take a picture.  The scooter is missing the lid at the back, and the Blythe was nude.

Bratz World closet:  $1.99

Also found some more LPS Blythes!  Can't believe I found two more at the same time.  That's three in a row now!  I would gladly welcome more.

I actually saw some more light up MLP's.  I didn't know they made so many!  I was a little tempted, but they were $6 each, so I passed.  I think my max would be around $4.

Now I kind of feel like buying all of the light up ones.  I wish I picked up some of those $4 ones I came across a while back!

The closet is from this set:

It looks so modern!  I wish they kept it like the promo pictures though...that one was entirely mirrored!  That would have been stunning:

They actually came out with a lot of nice furniture pieces.  I would love this mirror:

I've got to keep an eye out for them!

Blythes and Strawberry shortcake car:  $2.99 for all @ Value Village

Always exciting when I find a Blythe!  Even moreso when I find two at a time!  Even though I have triples of these now, I still want more!  This is my first complete scooter girl.

I've passed up that car so many times.  Most of them are missing those leaf rear view mirrors, so I didn't even realize they were supposed to be there! Mine is missing one.

The horn actually honks! It's more of a squeaky toy sound, but I thought that was a fun detail.

Blythes:  $1.99 for both @ Value Village

Yay, another twofer!  They came nude though.  The blonde is the exact same one I just found...hiking trip.  The other one is also a double, desert fun.  I found the first one over two years ago!

I also got a Polly car, but I forgot to take a picture.  It's purple and has some musical symbols on the side.

Bag of toys:  $2.99 @ Value Village

What was in the bag:

Of course I wanted the Blythes!  But the accessories were a nice bonus.  A few of them are monster high.

Hiking trip blythe.  I actually have her shoes from another doll I found, so she's nearly complete.

Swim and sun blythe.  I don't have anything of hers, but I do have another nude one.

Tricoastal designs - Victorian style notebook and memo pad:  $1.99 for both @  Value Village

I thought these  were new, otherwise I wouldn't have bought them!  When I opened them up, I was pretty disappointed to find that they had been written all over.  By a kid no less!  Strange, I think this design is a bit sophisticated to give to a 7 year old (judging by the writing!).

This is the first time I've ever not gotten a receipt from them, otherwise I would have tried to return it.  I do really like the cover though.

I was shocked when I saw it was from 1995.  There was still a Winners sticker on each of them, and that tag looked modern!  I guess they haven't changed it much in two decades.

I also found a LPS Blythe, but I forgot to take a picture.  It's the one with polka dot tights...now I have three of them!

This is actually the same location I found that sailor moon haul.  I just couldn't resist!  I thought they might have more stuff, and I'd be kicking myself if I missed out on it.

2 vintage novelty candles:  $1.99 for both @ Value Village

I was shocked those candles were so reasonable!  Normally I see them priced individually for $4+.  These ones were bagged together for only $2!

They're both completely wrapped, and I thought they were neat looking.  They're also pretty huge!  That dog's at least 10 inches long.

I don't know if I'll burn them.  I should, but it would feel like a waste!  They're pretty nice for candles.  They put a lot of details into them.  The girl is holding a doll that has x for eyes, for some reason.

Pretty sure both of them are vintage, but I don't know how old they are exactly.  The girl one is made by "regal".

I also saw a LPS blythe there, so of course I had to get her too!  She had really terrible hair, but no Blythe gets left behind!

She's this one, "Tokyo dressed for tea":

Really surprised they don't have any bigger versions of this promo picture!  This was the best one I could find.

Anyway, mine is so messed up, she doesn't even look like she has bangs anymore!  I don't think I can get it to look like the original style, so I just have it down for now.

Bag of toys:  $2.99 @ Value Village

Of course I wanted it for the Blythe.  The extra polly pocket stuff was just a bonus!  I only ever want her shoes though.  Everything in the bag:

There were more shoes than I thought, so that was a nice surprise.

She came with most of her outfit.  That rarely happens!

The rest of the stuff she originally came with:

Don't really care about any of that, but some of those accessories were pretty cute.  The packaging was pretty nice too!  I would have kept those pictures.

Dolls:  $1.99 @ Value Village

Can't believe I found that exact same blythe again!!  It's shocking how many times this has happened.

Bag of Polly Pocket stuff:  $3.99 @ Value Village

I mainly wanted the Blythe, of course.  But I also wanted the shoes!  I was excited when I saw so many floating around....but when I opened it up, I noticed that they were mostly singles!

There's only four complete pairs.  I was pretty shocked!  There are almost 40 singles pairs of shoes, so I was expecting several sets.  I thought the white ones were a set at first, but it turns out they're a different mold.

It also came with a bunch of Polly clothes:

I could probably cut a few down to use with my Blythes.  Plus some other Polly Stuff:

There was a ton of stuff in that bag!  I didn't think there was that much when I bought it, so it's a pretty good value for the price.  I just wish it had more sets of shoes!

LPS Blythe and Polly pocket car:  $1.99 @ Value Village

Shockingly, it's the exact same Blythe I just found a few days ago!!  What are the chances?

One time I also found the EXACT same Blythe twice on the same day, and in the same city too!  Pretty fun when that kind of stuff happens.  I don't mind having any number of doubles when it comes to Blythes!

I also have three of these cars now.  I didn't really plan on having that many, but I thought I might as well keep it.

Sindy doll and LPS blythe:  $3.99 @ Talize

More than I wanted to pay, but I can't resist those blythes!  There were two other dolls in the bag, but I already redonated them.

The Sindy's from the 80's.  I think she might be Starlight Sindy:

I think all of the Sindys I have are from the 80's.  I'd love to find an older one!  Though any kind of Sindy is pretty hard to come by in the first place.

VeeVee -  Studded combat boots:  $6.25 (RSP:  $24.99)
Bag of dolls:  $1.99
Interior Illusions - Ceramic chihuahua piggy bank:  $3.99 (RSP:  $100)

All @ Value Village

I almost didn't go here, but since I just missed my other bus, I decided I might as well.  I'm so glad...found so much great stuff here!

This one had all of their red tag stuff (which is new)  for 75% off.  Most of it was junk,  but these boots were awesome!  They're a bit more than I like to pay, but it was still a good deal.

These are labeled 11, but they fit and look just like 10's!  They didn't have any 10's there, so I'm glad I tried these on.

Also happy about finding another Blythe.  This is what was in the bag:

I took the clothes off of that bigger doll, but the rest will be redonated.

I thought the chihuahua was really cool looking, but the tail had been broken off and poorly reattached.  I wish the price was cheaper, but I thought it was still an ok deal and worth buying.

Turns out it sold at Gilt for $100!  I didn't expect it to retail that high...I was thinking maybe $20 when I saw it.

There's also an adult version:

It looks pretty good!  I probably would have gotten that one if I had the choice.  Or why not both!

Eelskin bag:  $1.99
Harlequin Notables "Virgin with butterflies" pocket journal:  $2.99 (RSP:  $8.95)
Bag of doll furniture:  $1.99
Skinny snake skin belt:  $1.99

All @ Value Village

I'm not sure what that first thing is supposed to be.  It looks like a big pencil case, or maybe it's a makeup bag.  It looks completely new on the outside, but the inside is a gross sticky vinyl...I didn't notice back then, but I still would have bought it.

This is what was in the bag of doll furniture:

None of the furniture have any markings, so I thought it all could be unbranded.  But it is pretty good quality for a generic.

Turns out the bow chairs are Barbie!  That's surprisingly...I thought they stamped everything.  Maybe they've stopped.  It came from this 2013 Glam vacation house:

So it's possible the others are Barbie too.

That trunk is also a closet, it has two working drawers inside!  Can't beat all of that for two bucks.

They had a bunch of neat vintage Harlequin romance cover stationery today, but I thought it was all pretty overpriced.  $2.99 for one small notebook...normally they put a few in for this price, and they had a ton of them here!

Thought that was pretty unreasonable, but I liked this cover enough to get it.  They also had telephone books for $5..there was no way I was going to pay that.  Here's a better picture of it:

They had one memo pad for $2, but that didn't seem worth it either.  It didn't have a hardcover, unlike this one.

I looked online, and mine was the best cover.  I'm glad that one was there at least.

Landes - Pink calf hair skinny belt:  $2.09 (RSP:  $20+)
Blythe + Polly car:  $1.99

Both @ Value Village

They had a 30% off sale today...seems kind of cheap for boxing day!  I think it should have been half off, but I came anyway.

I was so happy when I found that belt.  The buckle is a beautiful rose gold colour, and of course I love pale pink!  The fact that it's real calf hair made it even better...and the price made it the best!  I would have paid their asking price of $3, no question.

It's even new with tags from Army & Navy!  I didn't know they ever carried anything that good.

I haven't found a LPS blythe in a looong time, so I was really happy to see her today.  She even has a complete outfit, most of the ones I find are nude.

She's Totally Talented Blythe wearing Prettiest in Pink's dress:

Too bad she wasn't there too!  But her dress is way better than Totally Talented's outfit:

I do like her shoes though, so I'm glad she had them!

Bag of dolls:  $3.99 @ Value Village

I actually went to three today, and this was the last one.  I was starting to think that I wouldn't come away with anything today!

I thought that was a Jenny doll when I first saw it.  It turned out to be a clone from a Korean company I've never heard of...Young Toys.  Turns out she's called Jouju, and they still make them!  This one's from 2004.

She looks dead on!  The quality looks about the same too, but the body looks just like a Barbie's (as in stockier than usual).  I'm surprised nobody's mentioned this doll before.

Of course, I still love my Blythes too.  These ones have some of their stock outfit, so I was pretty psyched about that.  I mostly find them nude, and it's been a while!

Thierry Mugler Couture pantsuit:  $5

Polly pocket car:  $1.99
Licca and Littlest pet shop dolls:  $1.99
Intricate cherub frame:  $2.99

All @ Value Village

Oh man, was this a good deal!  And to think, I almost stayed at home.  That would have been a mistake.

Thierry Mugler is one of my favourite designers, and it was always a dream of mine to find something of his.  I nearly jumped for joy when I saw this:

I found it minutes after entering the store!  So happy it was there for me.  I did find this blazer before, but since it wasn't really made by him (made in China, for cosmetic reps) it wasn't really the same.

Of course I'm always happy when I find LPS Blythes, so that was good too.  And Liccas, which are even rarer!  Someone had put her randomly in the collectibles section, so I'm glad I was sharp enough to spot her.

That frame is gorgeous too!  Normally they're not sculpted very well, nor are they as interesting as this one, so $3 was a steal.  I think I might spraypaint it gold, and it would look much nicer as a mirror rather than a frame.

Overall, such a great day!
