Evan Picone - Tweed skirt suit
Calvin Klein - NWT Black gathered pleat sleeveless top (RSP:  $65+)

H&M - Grey wool knit jacket (RSP:  $129)

All free for me because it's a perk of a program I'm in right now.  Sadly, I ruined the coat by washing it.  Oh well, at least I'll have this picture to remember it by!

Found a photo of the suit:

It's not as fitted as I'd like, but it was a lot nicer on than I expected.

Flower candle holder with rose candles:  $.99 (RP:  $1.99)
Napco originals by giftcraft - Vintage Japan ceramic girl wall holder:  $.99 (RP:  $1.99)

Jacques Vert - Olive green pleated ankle length skirt (RP:  $5.99) (18 days)
Jones Studio - Beige ankle length skirt (RP:  $5.99) (18 days)
Long white skirt (RP:  $5.99) (7 days)

$.99 each @ Salvation Army.

The clothing here is mostly outdated, so I really didn't expect to find anything.  They were having a $.99 sale though, so I just couldn't help myself.

I was surprised to find these gems.  That beige skirt is perfect!  So fashionable and well fitting.  I like the grey skirt as well, but it does seem a bit dated.  Nobody wears those kind of skirts anymore!

The white one was actually insanely long, I wonder if it was used for a play or something.  The material is so thick and shiny, it looks like something you'd use for a costume.

I would have left it behind, but then I had the bright idea to make it into a dress.  It's long enough to be ankle length if I tie it around my neck!  I just need to make some armholes and I'm good to go.  For a dollar, why not?

The other stuff was because I had a coupon.  I really liked the girl wall holder, but her bow is broken off.  Still, I've never found anything like that before, and $1 seemed like a decent price.  I'll probably fix it or just cover it with a fabric bow.

Turns out someone painted on that lipstick...after I washed it, it all came off.  The original is a lot more muted and looks ways better.

I only bought the candle because I had a coupon.  It was between that and a new in box ceramic cherub candle that I already had.

I didn't need two of them (plus, I remember buying that other one NEW for the same price) so I got this one instead.  I love flowers and I thought it was a neat take on it.

Jessica - NWT Navy skirt with gold buckle and white piping:  $2.50 (RSP:  $40+)
Simply Vera by Vera Wang - Charmeuse colourblock top:  $2 (RSP:  $40+)

Da Vinci - NWT floor length chiffon dress in celedon - style 9092:  $5 (RSP:  $135+)

All @ MCC Thrift shop.

I actually bought these last Friday.  I originally came for the dress...I saw it two days before the sale, but thought I might as well wait for it to be half off.

I'm so glad it was still there!  It's so gorgeous on, I would have been sad if I missed out.  $10 would have been a steal anyway, considering it's new with tags.  I looked at their website, and I think this one was actually the best colour.

I'm actually surprised it retailed for so cheap.  The quality is really nice!  It looks way better than in the picture.

The other things were an afterthought.  I liked the style of the Jessica skirt, but since it's a mall brand I probably wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't new.

Found a stock picture of the top:

I liked  the colourblocking, thought that was pretty unique.

Deletta - Pink chiffon accent top:  $4 (RSP:  $50+ (5 days)
Grey ruched rosette shirt:  $4 (5 days)

(Just a better picture of the above, you really can't see the details on the grey top in the other one!)

Zara women - NWT Button up silk shirt:  $5 (RSP: $55) (3 days)
Banana republic - Dark khaki silk top:  $3 (9 days)

All @ Talize

The knits ones were more than I wanted to pay, but since I liked the designs so much I bought them.  I really wish I knew who made the grey one, it's great quality!  The inside looks the same as the outside.  It was made in the US, so I know it wasn't a super cheap brand.

I wasn't sure about the other one.  I really love the top part (especially the crossed over pleats and ruffles), but the bottom part wasn't very fitted.  I figured it would look amazing if I covered the bottom half.

In both cases, I haven't seen these designs around, so I didn't want to miss out on them.  I liked them that much!

I probably wouldn't have bought the Zara shirt if it wasn't new with tags.  I'm surprised the retail price wasn't that high!  It's not the best silk I've felt.

The Banana republic shirt looks pretty plain, but it,s fitted in such a nice way.  The colour is interesting too, so I think it was worth the $3.

This is the first time I've spent almost $100 at any thrift store, but I couldn't help it!  I already put back a lot of stuff, and I had to get back home for something.  I still might return some things, I'll decide after trying them on again.

Catherine Regehr - Long lime green halter neck dress (RP:  $4.99)
Jennis - Long pleated khaki dress (RP:  $4.99+)

Beige crochet dress (RP:  $4.99)
Zara woman - Fitted black dress (RP:  $4.99 - $200)

All @ Kim's Village

I can't  believe that Zara dress was still there!  I tried it on again, and it was sadly too small for me...but it was just so fitted.  I thought about it, and decided to get it as a sort of goal dress....it was only $1, and I already regretted leaving it last time!

I wasn't sure about the crochet dress at first, but I bought it because it has such gorgeous details.  There are even pearl buttons at the back!

The hemline is pretty too:

I wish I knew who made it, the tag was ripped out.

The other dresses are really neat.  The green one was made in a city near me!  I was just looking at long halter dresses the other day so I was happy to find a cheap one so soon.

I just took a look at the designer's website, and she has a lot of amazing designs...really timeless and feminine.  I'd love to find more of her work!

Doing some research, I've seen her dresses priced from $400 to $5000!  I wonder how much this one retailed for.  Similar ones seem to go for 1 to 2K, so I think it's safe to say that it was at least $1000.

The other dress is really neat, but it needs to be ironed.  It has such great pleats, and the fabric is neat!  It's somewhat shiny and a bit stiff.

Erote (A touch of green mint!) - Brown blazer with white cuffs and collars (RP:  $4.99+)
Rebecca Taylor - Ruffled high collar poet blouse (RP:  $4.99+)

Belle Mode - White and black pleated dress (RP:  $20 for the set)

Rouie - Black wool dress (RP: $9.99)
Sharre - Long grey lightweight coat (RP: $ 14.99)

$1 each @ Kim's Village

They haven't had one of these in a while!  I wasn't sure if I wanted to wake up early for it, but I ended up going.  I was the first one there!

The Rebecca Taylor blouse is my favourite find, it's so gorgeous!  It has a high neck collar and adds some modern accents to this victorian style blouse.

It's too small for me though...I'm going to have to do some alterations.  The style is just so great though, it'll be worth it.  The tag is all in Japanese, but I'm betting it'll hold up in the wash.

The others (besides Rouie and Rebecca Taylor) are Korean brands, but the dress is surprisingly good quality.  It's so heavy weight!  It actually came with a blazer, but since they started charging each piece separately, I left it behind.

I was unsure about the brown blazer, since it's not exceptional quality either.  But I just really liked the style, and the fit was great.  For $1, why not?  The label is super cute too.

The lightweight grey coat was a nice find.  I don't have many other light coats and this one looks great on.

I bought the wool dress to make into another lightweight coat.  It's pretty horrendous as is (plus totally oversized on me..and it has those horrid shoulder pads!), but I saw a lot of potential.  The sleeves are neat and the gathered draping skirt looks awesome.

I passed up a black Zara woman dress...I'm kicking myself now!  It was totally plain and the material wasn't great (polyester and rayon), but it was completely fitted.  I thought I had similar dresses at home, but when I checked they weren't as similar as I thought.

That one was really fitted!  I couldn't appreciate it because I didn't try it on properly.  On the small chance that it's still there tomorrow, I'll pick it up!

DKNY Jeans - Peach pleated dress shirt with embroidered accents (RP:  $7.99) (20 days)
Banana Republic -  Fitted white dress shirt (RP:  $9.99) (3 days) (RSP:  $59.50)

$.99 each @ Salvation Army

I actually wasn't sure if I could make it to this location, but I'm glad I did.  I only had about 20 minutes to shop, but it was enough.

The DKNY shirt is the most gorgeous dress shirt I've seen!  It's pleated everywhere, front, back, and even at the sleeves!  The back:

It also has this gorgeous embroidery at the front:

It also looked brand new.  It had tags on, that marked it at $26 ($16 on sale!), but that was probably from a consignment store or something similar.  I'm sure it retailed for much higher!

I almost didn't buy the banana republic shirt.  I put it back and then picked it up at the last minute!

It's just that it's so plain, and I don't know how it fits on me.  But since I saw it twice today (and passed the first time), it felt like a sign!

Seriously, it was the exact same top...that's only happened to me once before (and I bought it the second time in that scenario too!).

Zokai - Pleated lace sleeveless top (RP:  $3.99 - $6.99) (2-16 days?)
Kenzie - Black silk sleeveless top (RP:  $3.99) (14 days)

H&M - Pink ruffle top (RP:  $5.99) (13 days)

$1 each @ Salvation Army...the same one from the last post.

The first and third tops were must haves!  It was love at first sight when I saw them.

Weird thing about the first top though...I just noticed that it's marked as both a children's dress, and a women's blouse!  The dates are completely off too.  I guess I'll have to try it on to see which one's right...

Ok, a quick search confirms that it is for women afterall.  Whew!  I saw someone trying to sell one used for $20, so I'll assume it was somewhat pricey new.

The silk top was an afterthought, since I didn't know how it would fit.  It has some nice ruched details and it does zip up at the side, so it's not just a plain one.

Banana Republic - Ruffled black button up halter dress:  $3.50
Alfani - Pleated silk halter top:  $3
Dark fuchsia vintage leather belt:  $2.50
White leather belt with woven gold bucke:  $1

All @ Salvation Army

I almost didn't go to this location on half off day, but I'm glad I did!  It's just so small though, and I was there only a few days before...I didn't see anything good then, so maybe this stuff was recent.

Anyway, the belts caught my eye first.  I love pretty vintage leather belts!  The white one was a no-brainer, what a great price!  The buckle is so gorgeous too.

I wasn't sure about the other one, since it was a pull through belt.  Those normally fit really poorly, always coming off of me.

But to my surprise, this one fit great!  It didn't budge at all!  The leather is really nice and thick too, plus the buckle, though somewhat ordinary from far away, has some nice design elements.

No company name, but it was made in Taiwan.

The dress I ended up getting because it was made out of some material I've never heard of before...lypocell!  I want to have a garment out of every kind of material made.

Plus, I did like the style.  It looks almost exactly like  this brown halter dress I have!

It didn't look perfectly new though, so I had to think about it.  Well, it didn't look used either, and I thought maybe it would look better after a wash.

The silk top I found last.  The style is gorgeous!  All in all a great trip.

Pure & Simple - Beige \ brown dress:  $3 (RSP:  $29.99 - $60)

Elio - Beige knit pleated front vest:  $3 (RSP:  $24.99 - $40)

Merrell - Basalt Albia pants:  $2 (RSP:  $39.99 - $80)
Vince - Hollie - Patch pocket slim jeans:  $3 (RSP:  $119.99 - $235!)
Vivienne Tam - Green skirt:  $.70 (RSP:  $34.99 - $68)

All @ Winners.

I was really surprised this location had anything left!  The last couple of times, they were all cleared out by the time I arrived...I'm glad that wasn't the case this time.

The jeans were an amazing deal!  I couldn't find anything wrong with them either, so I'm really surprised they were still here.  This is what it looks like on:

I'm really happy about the bustier dress.  That's just my style, and it was super cheap.

I also like the pleated front vest.  I thought it was a neat design.  I was eyeing it when it was $10 so I was ok with paying $3 for it.

The little vampire shirt was so cute!  I might end up returning it since I really have no use for it.  I think I probably just wanted to photograph it..
