Floral sheet set:  $8 @ Liquidation World (RSP:  $29.88+)
Seasons Collection - Egyptian cotton sheet set:  $18.88 @ Liquidation World (RSP:  $37.77-$54.99)
Blue polka dot cup:  $.34 @ Liquidation World (RSP:  $.69-$2)
Silver plated bear/star/moon frame:  $.98 @ Liquidation World (RSP:  $1.97-$3.97)

Since my mom went nuts buying $30 sheets today, I supposed that swayed me a bit.  They're not as cheap as I would have liked (considering how much I paid last time) but I haven't seen better pricing elsewhere.  Also felt like having more variety in that area.

I don't like buying twin sets because most of them only come with one pillow sham...I use two and hate when they don't match.  I'd rather deal with a slightly oversized fitted sheet than the former, and I could always just sew that to fit.

I really didn't want to pay that much for sheets, but I thought it would be worth it for egyptian cotton.  I'm sure they're not that great quality, but I don't want to risk being ripped off online.  I do wonder what exceptional quality egyptian cotton feels like though.

They had some twin sets, but it was the same sham deal I touched on above-more than that, I wasn't too crazy about the design.

These ones had a gorgeous embossed brocade design so that clinched it.  It was a little big stained in some places, but the other ones had been really handled-one had to be taped together so I left that one behind (even though I didn't see any stains).

I considered buying the other one until I noticed all of the hair inside-that was a total turn off!  I'm sure it had been repacked and on the floor, so the slightly stained yet neatly packed one won out.  I hope egyptian cotton lives up to the hype.
