Wink flask purses - $3 - $5 each ( RSP:  $16.99 - $24 each)

Only the star one was $5, since the other ones were missing the flasks.  Which is totally fine since I just want to use them as purses!

Pink peplum top:  $1.51 (RSP:  $12.99)
Pink cardigan sweater:  $3.49 (RSP:  $29.99)
Brown cardigan:  $1.97 (RSP:  $16.99)

Pink was my favourite colour in this style, so I was happy I was able to get it here.  These were all 80% off, so pretty great deals.  The pink cardigan was only half off at the other locations I went to!

"Always look to the stars" paddle brush:  $.65 (RSP:  $5.99)
"Happy Holla Days" ceramic travel mug:  $.67 (RSP:  $5.99)
"Bah hum pug" ceramic travel mug:  $.67 (RSP:  $5.99

Textured peplum tops in white, black and burgundy:  $1.45 each (RSP:  $12.99 each)

All @ Urban Planet

These were all 80% off too.  What a great deal!  I didn't expect to see those holiday mugs, but they were so fun I couldn't resist.

Sadly, the tops are so tight!  I didn't think they would be, but now I wish I tried them on.  The large one is only 32 inches in the bust!!  The worst part is, the material is pretty stiff, so it doesn't stretch much.

It fits like a small...which is obvious when you see the model, who's probably wearing an actual small:

It's skintight even on her!  Gotta say it is flattering though, if you are that skinny..this top showcases it nicely.

Black off the shoulder peplum top (RSP:  $16)
Maroon off the shoulder peplum top (RSP:  $16)

Lace midi skirt (RSP:  $15)
Asymmetrical ruched skirt (RSP:  $22)

$1.25 each @ Sirens

Such a steal!  Now I wish I bought more.  Their clearance price of $2.50 each was reasonable enough, but it's an even better deal with their coupon.

Grey capri sweatpants (RSP:  $14.50)
Beige capri sweatpants (RSP:  $14.50)

$1 each (!) @ Urban Behavior

I was so shocked when I saw these today!  They normally have really skimpy basics on the $1 rack, so these were a great buy.  Later on I saw those peplum tops on the 2 for $10 rack, so I'm happy I managed to get them for this price!

I'm really happy about the dress from the last row!  The crochet detailing is gorgeous, and I received it in less than a week.  The seller sent it by EMS for some reason, but I'm not complaining.

I also love those last two necklaces.  I'm really happy I won them, because they were only listed once!  Both of them are much better than I expected, especially the very last one.  It's so heavy and high quality!

Finally!  It's that time again.  After missing out on the last one, I was really excited to see what I would find this time.

I'm happiest about the dresses.  Always love finding cheap dresses!

I also saw the Anna Sui perfume tin I bought last time...I really wish I could have seen the price!  Not that I would have bought it again, but I'm just so curious.  It should be at least half price...if it was less than $12, that would have blown my mind!

Zara - Wool peplum blazer:  $5.99 (RSP:  $70+)
Armani collezioni - Wool peplum blazer:  $9.99 (RSP:  $1000+)

Both @ Value Village.

Different ones.  I also saw a Christian Dior speedway saddle bag that looked very real, except it didn't have an authenticity code.  It was made out of nice leather and everything!

For $12.99, I didn't feel like risking it.  Plus, the strap needed to be fixed.

I also saw a givenchy puffer jacket!  I didn't bother trying it on, because it was $30...plus it had huge shoulders!  It also didn't look very warm.

At the first store I went to, I saw an armani suit for $40.  It was so used and dated!  Huge shoulder pads and everything.

Just last month, I found an armani blazer for $30...but it was also really used looking.  Too bad, the design was modern and gorgeous!

Scuba material peplum dress (RSP:  $39)
Black sequin peplum dress (RSP:  $42)
Sequin snakeprint dress (RSP:  $35)

Beige lace peplum dress (RSP:  $22.50)
Burgundy lace peplum dress (RSP:  $22.50)
Blue peplum dress (RSP: $ 30 - $85)

$5 each @ Sirens

I wish I brought a coupon!  I hadn't had to use one in so long, I didn't expect to again.

This is the biggest one in the area, but I hardly go there.  They rarely have good sales, so I was surprised to see everything so cheap today.  I'm always down for a $5 dress, so I couldn't contain my excitement when I saw so many today!

I tried on 10 of them!  I passed up a lot more, since I didn't want to be spending too much.  I mostly passed up on the unstructured, shapeless dresses, since they're not as flattering as these ones.  Normally I'd consider them, but they didn't seem worth it in comparison.

I'm happiest about the ones in the first picture!   Sirens rarely has anything that good, material and design wise.  These kind of dresses would go for a lot more at another store.

The second picture is their standard kind of dress, but they're well worth $5.  Yay!

Floral peplum dresses with mesh panels:  $5 each @ Sirens (RSP:  $19.50 each)

I love finding $5 dresses here!  I always get excited when I do.  They're just so worth it...you never see them that cheap anywhere else, even though the quality is the same as most mall brands.

Even a lot of the stuff at Winners...they price them at around $25, and they normally get clearanced at around $13.  Not much of a deal if you ask me.

They had some other ones I was somewhat interested in, but the colours and prints were kind of garish.  I don't think I'd wear them for more than a season, but ones like these seem worth keeping.

Blue floral taffeta dress:  $5 (RSP:  $29)
Pink floral taffeta dress:  $5 (RSP:  $29)

Tapestry peplum bustiers:  $5 for ALL(!) (RSP:  $19 each)

Embossed floral peplum tops:  $3 each (RSP:  $13 each)

All @ Sirens

I wish I had the coupon with me..that would have made things even cheaper!  Still, this lot works out to $3 each, which isn't too shabby.

It also turns out the coupon wasn't even available when I bought these, so that makes me feel better too.  I don't think I could have gotten some of these items if I had waited!

The best deal was those tapestry bustiers.  I've seen them for a while, and even considered picking them up at $5 each.  I waited though, just in case they went down to $2.50 each.  This was even better!  They were buy 1 get 2 free, which ends up being an insane deal.

I found a similar one on asos for $95!!  I wouldn't be surprised if it was made from the same factory.  The construction sure looks the same:

What really caught my eye was the materials used.  It's made out of a thick brocade that's normally used in tapestries!  I don't think it's that cheap, which is why it's surprising it wasn't priced higher at Sirens.

I was mostly excited about the dresses --they're so beautiful!  They remind me of a monet painting.  $5 was a total steal, they're great quality (they're even boned) and so unique.  I don't even remember seeing them in stores except for today!

I looked online, and the only similar dress I could find was this one:

Ok, it's only similar in that it's made of a taffeta, it has florals, and the design is pretty similar.  This one was made by Valentino and cost $900!

I was a bit undecided on the last two, since I have tops made from similar fabric.  But since these ones were peplums, I decided to add them in too.  This is what the material looks like:

My other ones were different colours, so I'm glad I bought these ones.  Can't decide which print I like better...both of them are pretty neat!

Now I kind of want to visit the other ones, but this one normally has the best deals.  Still, I'm curious!

Sequined peplum top (RSP:  $17.50)
Checkered green peplum dress (RSP:  $20)

Both $5 each @ Sirens

I didn't print out the coupon, so I didn't want to buy too many.  Otherwise, there were other shiny peplum tops I was sort of interested in.  Plus...I'm trying to buy less mall brands.

These two were worth it though!  I don't have anything like either of them, and I really like the styles.

Seductions - Olive green leatherette pants (RSP:  $5 - $22.50)
Last Kiss - Leatherette peplum top (RSP:  $5 - $25)

$7.50 for both @ Sirens.

They were having a buy one get one half off sale because of the holidays.  I probably wouldn't have bought the pants otherwise, but it was a steal at $2.50!

I don't normally like obviously fake and sticky leather, but I thought these were ok.  I really like the colour.

I would have bought the other top regardless of the sale!  The last time I looked it was marked $15.  Some of them were still marked that price today, but I saw more that were $5.  I wonder if it was actually that price last time too.

Oh well, I'm glad I managed to get it on sale.  They used the best fake leather around!  It's really thick and nice quality for what it is.  I've seen it on sale for $40 online!

Photos of it on a model:

It looks even better in the back!

I love sirens!

Black and blue lace peplum tops w/chain belts:  $2.50 each (RSP:  $12 each)

Long navy green tank dress:  $3.50 (RSP:  $12)
Seduction - Long black tank dress:  $3.50 (RSP:  $21)

All @ Sirens

I was originally going to buy more, but then I realized that my coupon had expired!  I considered going back another time when I had the coupon, but I didn't want to miss out.  Those tank dresses were the last ones there, and they were such a great deal!

I was kicking myself for not checking before I left, but it turns out it hadn't even been posted at that time.  They posted it right after I bought it!

I was actually going to buy similar ones on ebay for $6.25 each..I didn't think I could find them locally for even cheaper!  What are the chances of that?  I was literally going to buy them online yesterday!

Those ones would be of questionable quality, so I'm really glad I waited.  The green one's about mid calf length, while the black one is floor length.

The lace tops are the same ones I bought at urban behavior a while back.  They were $.50 more, but I regretted not buying the blue one back then, so it was ok.

These were all "2 for $x dollar" deals, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bought the black lace top.  I already have so many!  I would have still bought both tank dresses though, I can't get enough of them!  They're so versatile, simple, and effortless.

The black one was actually made in the US!  It's just one s apart from their store brand, seductions.  There's a hole in the back and it has a lot more detail than the other one, which is probably why it was almost twice the price.

Red and white lace peplum top with chain belts:  $2 each (RSP:  $12 each)

Metalllic gold brocade shorts:  $3 (RSP:  $19)
Embroidered rose button up chiffon dress:  $10 (RSP:  $28)

Parisian collection - Beige gold/pink chiffon rosette floor length dress:  $10 each (RSP:  $28)

All @ Urban Behavior

This is why I love this store!  It's the best place to get cheap clothing year round.  I just wish it was closer to get to.

I actually came back for the red lace top.  I saw it yesterday and wanted to get it, but I didn't have time.  I wish I bought the blue one as well, but I'm glad I managed to get those ones.

The red is a dark burgundy, totally gorgeous!  I was initially just going to get that one, but I'm just such a sucker for white lace, especially at that price.

The shorts were a great buy.  I thought they were so neat, I've never seen them around!  For the price, I thought they were worth adding to my closet.

I didn't really want to pay $10 for the rose dress since I already have similar dresses in that style, but the print swayed me.  I just love the colour, the size..everything about it!  Since I was getting a deal on everything else, I decided to just splurge.

The floor length dresses are my favourites from this round.  I actually dismissed them yesterday, thinking they'd look cheap and ugly on...but I was wrong!  They're actually really gorgeous, and don't look cheap at all.

It turns out the cashier actually forgot to scan one of them in, so I ended up with a really great deal on everything.

I've never seen them at any of the other stores, so I'm happy I got them here.  I wouldn't have them otherwise!

London times - Satin floral peplum dress w/belt:  $5 (RSP:  $39.99 - $80)
Dex 1963 - Asymmetrical chiffon dress w/stud collar:  $5 (RSP:  $24.99 - $50+)

Coastal cocktails - Skinny apple martini mix in glass high heel bottle:  $1.10 (RSP:  $6.99 - $10)
Coastal cocktails - Cranberry cosmo mix in glass high heel bottle:  $1.10 (RSP:  $6.99 - $10)
Bond no. 9 - I love new york for all 100 ml eau de parfum:  $22 (RSP:  $149.99 - $265!)
Escada - Desire me 50 ml eau de parfum:  $12 (RSP:  $39.99 - $65)

All @ Winners

These were some of the highlights from this season!  I've never heard of London Times before, but now I have two of their dresses.

They're both satin florals, but I like this one a lot more...it's a peplum, which I love, and it even comes with a belt!  It was totally worth the $5.

The white dress took my breath away...it's so me!  It's longer than normal and has an asymmetrical hem, plus it has a studded collar.  Those are probably out of season now, but I'll still wear it!  The whole thing is just so goddessy.

The martini mixes were an afterthought.  I bought it because I loved the bottles and they ended up being super cheap.  I thought they had bath foam, but I would have bought it no matter what was in them for that price!

It was a jaw dropping moment when I found that bond perfume.  I couldn't believe my eyes!  I never thought I'd ever own this brand since it's normally so expensive (over $200 at a lot of places).

It was actually wrapped in something else, which might have been why it was still there for me.  I actually clutched it in my hand the entire time, I just didn't want it to get away from me!

This one actually had a lot of well known perfumes for cheap...I also found a Chloe perfume for $18 at the same time I found the Escada.  Thankfully it was already open, so I managed to smell it at the counter...and it was horrible!

The heavy scents that older people normally wear.  Thank goodness I left that one behind, it would have been non-refundable!

Max & Mia - Grey top:  $3 (RSP:  $19.99 - $30)
Cute options - Beaded rayon top:  $2 (RSP:  $29.99 - $60)

Haley Matthews - Blue chiffon button up blouse:  $3 (RSP:  $16.99 - $25+)
Cynthia Rowley - Floral chiffon top:  $2 (RSP:  $24.99 - $40)

Zac & Rachel - Neon yellow peplum top:  $2 (RSP:  $24.99 - $42)
Liquid - Hawaiian shorts:  $1 (RSP:  $12.99 - $45)

All @ Winners

I'm surprised I managed to find anything at all today!  These were the least exciting, and some of them might end up going back.  The first two were for my mom.

Thursday, August 22, 2013

Tibi - Refined crepe v neck dress:  $12 (RSP:  $249.99 - $695!)
London times - Satin floral dress:  $12 (RSP:  $49.99 - $120)

Dalia Collection - "modern fit" mint skirt:  $2 (RSP:  $19.99 - $30)
Premise - Coral peplum skirt:  $3 (RSP:  $24.99 - $58)

All @ Winners

I couldn't believe the original retail price of that dress!  I knew it was different when I touched it, but I was not ready for that price tag.

I think part of the reason it was still there was because the name tag was missing...I did a search online and found out who made it.  Good thing too, the curiosity might have almost killed me!  I would have kept on wondering if the tag was an exaggeration, or just for the wrong item.

I thought the price had to be up there though, since it was lined in silk.

It's pretty plain, but it has a lot of nice elements.  The back hangs a little lower than the front, and I like that much shoulder coverage.

It's meant to be a casual dress, and I think it works.  It just needs a belt to bring it all together!

I liked the floral dress too, but it didn't seem as worth it as the other one.  I really didn't want to spend $12 on anything here, but I just really liked both of them.

The skirts were a great deal though.  I love the colour of the mint one and the design of the coral one.

Saturday, August 17, 2013

Halston Heritage - Pink peplum top:  $12 @ Winners (RSP:  $129.99 - $245)

It's final clearance time!  I was a bit late to the game, this was the first one I checked out.  They didn't have anything really good there, so I was surprised I found something at all!

It was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but considering how much it retailed for, I thought it was worth buying .

I'll admit that the brand was part of the reason I bought it...I've always wanted something from Halston!  Some official photos of it:

It looks way better in person!  These photos aren't flattering at all.

Black lace teal peplum top
Hawaiian tropic sunblock

Both gifts from my friend!  The top cost her $11, but I think that was already a sale price.  It's so gorgeous!

The colour is completely wrong in the picture.  It's way more green than blue, a nice teal.
