High heel storage chair: $52.73 @ Amazon.ca
I actually only paid $44 total with my gift card!
I've always wanted a chair like this, but they retail for around $250....I saw they were only $100 in the US, so it didn't seem worth it.
I started looking around on a whim, and I saw one for an incredible price! It went up to $214 right after I bought it.
I was actually worried that it was a mistake and they wouldn't honour it, but here it is!

Zoomies "Brandy" carriage bed: $237.99 @ Wayfair (RSP: $317)
Wayfair had the retail price at over $500, which is just stupid. It's $317 at wal mart, $335 at Staples, and $350 at toys r us, so that's some exaggeration!
Wayfair usually has it at $335 so it was never a deal.
Then in the new year I saw it for $252.99! I had never seen it for that low before.
I thought about it for a few days and took the plunge.
A few days after I received it (over three weeks later) I saw it for $237.99! I was so annoyed.
I contacted them, and thankfully they gave me a price adjustment. It seemed to be a one day sale, and I haven't seen it that low since!
Though I have seen really amazing prices on the US site...it would have worked out to around $200 Canadian! That would have been an amazing deal.

24" round mint storage ottoman: $22 @ Winners (RSP: $99.99 - $130)
I'm so happy about this!! I've wanted a round storage ottoman for a long time, but they were all so expensive.
I remember there was one during the last clearance, but it wasn't that nice. It was smaller than this one and had ugly fabric, so I would have had to reupholster it.
It was $25 and I was thinking I'd buy it when it went down to $18 the next day. Sadly, someone ended up buying it before I did. ..I wonder how much they paid?
Well it wasn't so sad after all, since this one's way better!
Some other stuff I was eyeing:
I'm such a sucker for cute ceramic candles, especially when they're pink! But at $8 a pop they're not really worth it.
I did end up getting the unicorn...can't help it when it's a unicorn!
Meditating rabbit. I pretty much collect these, but I didn't really want to pay $10 for this. Maybe if I see it again I'll feel differently.
The most beautiful luggage I've ever seen! $100 for the big one, $80 for the smaller one. I might buy it if I see it again..

Mirrored dresser: $55 @ Winners (RSP: $399)
I was so happy! I saw this when it was $150, and I was hoping it would still be here at the end. It has some chips but I don't think they looked too bad.
I replaced the knobs. They used to be pull rings, which I didn't like too much.
It's hard to tell the size, but it's bigger than a night table, but smaller than a standard dresser.
I also saw a night table for $25...the cheapest I've ever seen!
But it was sooo broken, even I didn't want it. It doesn't look so bad in the picture, but in person, it was really distracting! Just about the whole thing needed to be replaced. I wonder how low it ended up selling for.
They also had this perfect table for only $40!
But I like all mirrored things and I had no room for it. Still, a great deal for someone!

My nearly finished dresser! I'm so happy with it. I want to paint some gold details on the bottom so it looks more cohesive, but I think it's gorgeous as is. And to think it used to look like this:
I knew it had potential!
This is the gorgeous mirrored vanity that I really wanted:
I like mine almost as much as I like that one. If the price wasn't $395 I probably would have gotten it too!
It is used though, and such a hassle to get to. If it goes on sale, who knows...I might take it home too.
Mirrored side board: $35 (RSP: $700+)
I've wanted mirrored furniture for a long time, but it's always so pricey. I saw someone selling this on craigslist for $50, but they were open to offers...I offered $35 and they accepted!
It's from Urban barn, and the retail price would have been at least $700. I've seen them for more than that!
It does have some cracks but most are easy to hide. I replaced the knobs with crystals. I'm so happy with this!
I'd like more mirrored furniture, so hopefully I'll find more deals soon!

JYSK - Pandora vanity: $50 (RSP: $199.99)
I've always wanted a cute vanity, and this one happened to be half off. I wasn't sure about it because there was this gorgeous mirrored vanity that I was really interested in, but that one was way too expensive. The sale was going to end soon, so I decided to go see it in person.
Well, it's even better in person! I still was unsure whether it would be worth paying $100 for, since I thought I could probably get a free one if I waited long enough. But in the end, it felt worth it.
It's kind of basic, but I think it's pretty cute. I like the curved legs and the fact that it has so many drawers.
The only thing I didn't like was the mirror, so I had the idea to replace it with a bigger, more ornate mirror. I knew it had potential!
The online tracker showed that it was in stock at my local store, but when I went to buy it, they said they actually JUST sold the last one! I was thinking about preordering it, but I didn't want to wait 2 weeks...then the guy happened to mention that they only had one with a broken mirror.
That was perfect since I already wanted to replace that part! I asked if it was for sale, and he said yes...I asked the price, and he said he had to check.
When he came back and said $50, I couldn't contain my excitement! It just seemed meant to be.
I spray painted it pink and replaced the knobs with crystals. It already looked pretty great after that.
I just recently got the mirror I envisioned, and it looks sooo beautiful put together! I'm so happy I decided to get this. It looks so elegant in my room!

Finally got around to customizing that free dresser I got a while back. It cost me around $25, which was basically just the paint. It's stupidly expensive here! I know it goes for as low a $3.50 a can in the states. Here's what it used to look like:
Didn't like it at all back then, but now I love it! It's funny how a new coat of paint can change things so drastically. I used Krylon's ballet slipper spray paint, and I ended up using nearly 4 cans! It was my first time spray painting, and it was wayyy harder than I expected.
It was terrible at first! The coverage was uneven, and there was noticeable shade variation. I kept on adding more layers to even it out, but that didn't work...eventually I said "good enough" and just stopped. Somehow, it ended up looking way better a few days later, but you can still see the imperfections.
There's already a huge chip, ugh! I think I need to put an additional sealer on top to prevent more chippage.
I really wish I didn't use as much paint. I think I could have gone with around 2 if I was efficient enough. Oh well, at least I'll know for next time.
I also spray painted the handles gold. It used to be a dirty kind of bronze. That was way easier! Turns out the hardest thing to spray paint is a flat surface, so I was being a bit too ambitious with this first project.
I also lined all of the drawers with that leopard wrapping paper I got at Michael's. There's so much in that roll! I used a bit over 1 for the entire thing.
Overall, I'm so happy with how it turned out. It's my favourite piece of furniture! All of my other ones are old and crappy..having something nice strangely made me feel a lot better overall. I can't wait to do my other ones!
