Bag of doll stands:  $1.99
Monster High - Meowlody doll:  $4.99
Bag of dolls:  $1.99

All @ Value Village

Thank goodness they didn't raise the price in my city!  I found plenty in this price range, and this was one of them:

I of course bought them for the 2 littlest pet shop blythes.  Yay, 2 of them!  I'll probably keep the Madam Alexander dolls too.

I already have the Meowlody, but since she was just missing her purse, it seemed like a good deal.  My other ones are on display, so I can keep those ones pristine and use this one instead!

I'm out of monster high stands, so I thought the bag of them was a good deal.  There were 4 MH stands and one stand I haven't figured out yet.  There are indents for huge feet on the unidentified one, but it's not very tall...no markings either, so it's a mystery!

The tan blythe has the worst hair I've ever seen.  I didn't think it was salvageable, but it looks ok after a comb and wash.  It even looks bad in the promos!

Her boots were super cute though, I would have liked to have them.  The other one came with a car:

I actually had a chance to get the car for $2, but I didn't think it looked that great...nothing opened up, plus the one I found had some wear to it  Though I do wish I bought it now, since I haven't found it again yet!

Bag of dolls:  $1.99 @ Value Village

I bought this for the Littlest pet shop Blythe of course.  I was initially going to keep the Britney Spears doll's clothing, but it turns out her torso is really beautifully sculpted.  I haven't seen that on a six inch doll before!  I'm going to keep it in case I need something else.

Something I found funny.....as immodest as that outfit is, she has double underwear on!  One painted, one connected to the skirt.

That Madame Alexander doll is something else I've wanted, but I was waiting until it was with something else I really wanted.  That time has come!

The blythe is from the "Styling Safari" set:

This is my first one that I've found with her shoes on!  I'm glad about that, but I kind of wish she had her hat too.

I also wish that all of them came with their stands!  That would have been really nifty.

The lowest price I ever saw them new was $7....which would equal to 3-4 of the ones I've been buying.  A 1:4 ratio is a total no-brainer.  I'm just hoping I find them more regularly!  It's been a lot lately, so I hope that trend continues.

Funnily enough, all of them have come from the same location!  I don't think they're all from the same person, otherwise I would have found them at the same time.  They probably would have been in the same bag!

I actually found this on the same day Talize had a sale, but I forgot to post it up until now.

Bag of dolls:  $1.99 @ Value Village

Found them the same day I bought the Moschino blazer.  I only really wanted the Littlest pet shop Blythe, but I'm also going to keep the lil bratz clothes and the Madame Alexander doll.  She's kind of cute when she's dressed like that...it totally hides her crappy body.

That jointed Kelly body too...I didn't know they ever came jointed!  It's too bad the arms aren't articulated too.  I'll just save it in case I need it in the future.

Turns out the Blythe is from the "Fashion and Treats Boutique" set:

It retailed for $30, so there were probably less than these sold.  I don't like any of the pets or clothing, so I'm happy I got her at this price.  I just wish she came with her shoes!

Mcdonald's Madame Alexander Wizard of Oz dolls - Scarecrow and Cowardly lion - $1.99 for both @ Value Village

I saw these two days ago, but didn't pick them up.  I was going to, but then I put them down to try a coat on...by the time I remembered I was almost out the door, so I didn't feel like going back for them.

Big mistake!  I started looking at pictures on flickr and realized how much I wanted them.  I have seen these happy meal toys around a lot, but this is the first time I've seen them new in package...and I really don't want to be buying used happy meal toys.

They're cheap enough new, it just doesn't feel like it's worth it to buy them for only a little bit less used.  That's my warped rationalization anyway.

Funnily enough, I saw a bag of four of these dolls earlier that day!  It had both of the ones above, plus Dorothy and the Wicked Witch.  I thought the witch was cute, but the one I really wanted was the lion.  But like I said, it wasn't appealing for me to buy them used.

I love sleepy eyed dolls, but I don't like most of the Madame Alexander dolls from Mcdonald's because most of them have molded clothing.  I hate that!  And molded hair.  That's even worse!  That really moves them more into action figure territory.  I like my dolls skin coloured with removable clothing, thank you very much.

Despite that, there are some other McD dolls I want, if I manage to find them new in package along the way.

Tin man.  Of course!  He's the one I want the most, I might possibly buy him used if it comes to that:

Hombre de hojalata♥

Lollipop munchkin.  He's almost all molded which I hate, but I like his hair and his all black eyes:

Lollipop Munchkin

Wicked Witch.  I don't like any of the girls except her.  I just don't find the girl mold very appealing:

Madame Alexander McDonalds toy

Wolf (from Little Red riding hood).  I'm a sucker for anthropomorphic dolls.  I actually saw a loose one today for $2, but I wasn't having that:

Grandma! What Big Eyes You Have!!

Flying monkeys.  They're anthopomorphic AND winged!

Flying Monkeys!!

Lastly, I'd buy the other version of the cowardly lion:

Creepy Doll, Awake

He's cute enough to have two of!  This one's wearing a dress and a cape, whereas mine is just in a pant suit...with shoes.  The above version makes more sense (sans the cape).
