Rabbit fur coat:  $10 @ Penny Pinchers

Can you believe this was their regular price?  I`m going to miss these little thrift stores.

Since my last u-pass expires tomorrow, I won`t be going to them anymore.  They`re just too out of the way.

Shearling/leather coat:  $28 @ Every Town Thrift store

I really didn't want to buy this.  It looked nice on the wall but I thought it was overpriced.  Picture's really blurry, but I'm sure you get the gist of it.

The owner invited me to try it on and I stupidly ended up doing that.

I loved how it looked so I grudgingly bought it. The design isn't very common, so it was worth it.  I love that belt!

At least it was 30% off.  I hope I wouldn't have paid the $40 they were originally asking!

Vintage map purse:  $3.50 @ Every Town Thrift store

I came all the way back here just for this little thing.  I wanted to buy it the day before but didn't have enough cash on me...lesson learned.

Even though I'm trying to upgrade my closet, unique pieces like this still make their way in.

I wish it was leather, bur it's only vinyl.  At least it doesn't look or feel cheap.

I think the pattern on the back actually looks better, mainly because it has a moose.

Dress me doll:  $.50 @ Penny Pincher

I found this in a pile of barbies.  She was dressed just the same as them, awkwardly.  Hoochie clothes do not suit her!  She is nearly 60 years old afterall.

I thought she might be worth something, but it turns out she`s not.  I think she`s way better quality than most of the other dress me dolls from that era, so I`d be surprised if she was as cheap as the others.

I picked her up because I liked her look and she seemed well made.  Her hair`s mohair and she has a neat paint job.

Plus she has sleep eyes.  I`m a sucker for those.

Fur collar:  $3.50 @ Bibles for Missions
Christmas decorations:  free

I'm not sure what kind of fur this is, but I've been looking for something like this!  It was reasonably priced so I snatched it up.  I'm sure it would have been at least $10 anywhere else!

The Christmas stuff was free from a different thrift store.  I believe the yellow one has a paper mache face.  I picked it up because it reminded me of that old Rudolph claymation I love.

It was made by Mr. Christmas inc in 1971 - the company's still around!  Impressive.

The other one's a candle.  They had other ones but they were really ugly.

Black genuine snakeskin box purse:  $12.99 @ Value Village

I really didn't want to pay this much for this purse.  I loved everything about the design but thought it was overpriced considering the condition.

I shouldn't have looked in the mirror-I just loved how it looked on me and was totally smitten.

Plus, it's big, yet still flattering, and I'm sure I'll use it a lot.  I decided to just splurge, considering how the next month will probably be unpleasant for me.

I'm just kicking myself for not going yesterday.  I could have at least gotten something else to halve the price!

Oh well.  I was just too tired to make it out that day.

I just wish this was in better condition.  It shows lots of signs of use, but at least it looks new from far away.  I guess that's the beauty of black.

Darn you Value Village!  I hope I never get suckered into paying your prices again.

On a side note, I did find an eelskin purse!  That was fast.

They wanted $8 for it even though it was falling apart.  At least they didn't get me then!

Delane - plastic box purse:  $2.25

Another one of those random bus stop thrift stores.  I can't even remember the name, and I didn't even get a receipt.

This is the best thrift shop I've ever been to!  Well, I certainly thought it was charming.  It was crammed wall to wall with interesting stuff, and the prices were decent.

I spotted this little purse and knew I had to have it.  It reminded me of those adorable lucite box purses from the 50's, except in a more modern style.  I love the patterning, it looks like shell.

That's why I love thrift shopping!  You find so many unique things.
Plus, most things were 30% off!  There was this adorable map purse I wanted but I didn't have enough cash on me.

I'm planning on going back today...I hope it's still there!
