Relpo - Toy trunk ceramic vase: $2.99
Carriage musical box: $6.99
Both @ Value Village
I was unsure about both of these, but they were just so neat. I don't love nursery themed vases, but the teddy bear swayed me.
The music box was way too overpriced, especially since parts of it were broken. It's also missing some parts, but it's fine overall. This is what it's supposed to look like, mine is missing the lights and one of the brackets to hold the light.
The real problem is, it's filthy! I hope the dirt comes off. I really would have been more comfortable paying half the price for something in this condition.
I thought it was from the 70's, but it turns out it's from the 80's. I found a picture of an in box one on Etsy:
I've seen people asking $50 for these in out of box condition, but I have no idea how much they actually go for.

Teddy bear stickers: $1
Dog stickers: $1
Duck tape - Scottie dog print tape: $2 (RSP: ~$5)
Red owl vases: $3 each
All @ Dollarama
Since I bought a planner for next year, I wanted to have some cute little stickers to use in them. I never checked that section before, so I wonder what else they've had in the past...the were a lot better than I expected!
I've seen those red vases there for a while, and they're really nice quality. They'd easily be $13+ at any other store. You could definitely tell that they weren't made for Dollarama.
I waited about two weeks, so I'm surprised that they still had so many left! I didn't buy them earlier because I prefer vintage vases, and because I didn't think I'd use them for anything.
Well, I recently made some shelves using some wood I got for free, and I thought these would look great holding them up. If I find some in other colours, I might get those too!

Pink cat vase: $2.99 @ Value Village
There were no markings on it, but I could tell it was from the 50's by the style.
Looking online, it's very similar to a Lefton vase! I thought that's what it was until I looked at the details closer. Pretty sure it had a bowtie that was broken off...and there was an adorable matching deer:
It doesn't look that similar there, but from other angles, definitely.
The one on the right is my cat, but not my picture...that one sold for $25 on etsy, so not bad! I think mine looks better, because it's not obvious there's a hole in the head from the front.

Gold ceramic cherub vase: $4.99 @ Value Village
Darn, forgot to get my card stamped! They have that deal where you get a free $5 coupon if you buy two gift certificates. It took so long I completely forgot about it!
I love gold cherub things, and this one was nicely sculpted and looked great. I would prefer if it was made of something sturdier than ceramic, but it looked so good I had to get it.
I was expecting the price to be around $10, but I was hoping it was half that. It turned out to be that exactly, so I had to snatch it up! That's cheap for Value Village!
By normal standards, the price is just fair. It could have been way cheaper at a real thrift store, but I've never seen anything like this before...and I've been looking.
Almost missed it...thank goodness I saw it the second time around!
There was another vase I was interested in, but I didn't want to carry so many. The other one was mirrored and had a black bird on vine motif on it. It was a skinny rectangular shape, and it was also $5.
I thought it was quite pretty and a decent price, but I have no room for it. It doesn't really fit into my decor, whereas the above does!
