All off eBay.

They all came this month, but I put off writing about them until now.

The H&M stuff are the highlights.  I actually didn't even know they were H&M when I bought them, I just really liked the designs!  They're not H&M branded, but I think they're probably made from the same factory.

Also really happy about the snake chain necklaces.  I found a bunch of buy it now's for around $10, but I didn't want to pay that much.  Later on I started seeing them on auction, so I'm happy I was able to get them for about half the price.

I just kind of wish I waited it out, since some people were able to get them under $4!   I really love that huge statement necklace look.  I'm hoping to get some even bigger ones, but I'll see if any of them ever go on auction first.

Burgundy eelskin skull clutch DIY:  $4.40 (frame) + $1 (eelskin clutch) = $5.40

I wasn't sure how this would turn out, but I think it ended up pretty great.  I wasn't too fond of the original purse, but I couldn't pass it up for a dollar.  This is how it used to look like:

I studded the front a while back, and still didn't like it that much.  After my last two projects, I was just itching to have more exotic skin skull clutches!  I had to cut the front flap off and make some other adjustments to get it to fit this frame.

Now I only have one more that I could make, but I'm not sure which type I want to use it on.  I hope I find some more cheap skins soon!

I ended up switching out the eyes for real pearls, and also swapping the crystal:

Much better!

Beige eelskin skull clutch DIY:  free

Completely free!  I got the clutch free from amazon with my swagbucks, and I got the eelskin clutch free from a program I was in.  It used to look like this:

I wasn't crazy at all about it back then, but none of the other bags were good either.  I just hate flat, floppy, purses, but I do like exotic skins, which is why I chose it.

I knew I was never going to use it, so I decided to incorporate it into something I would use!

It was a bit better than my first try, but I wish I could get the edges smoother.  Still, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.  Even the knockoffs made from these kind of materials cost $300+!

Freebies from a mall.  They were having a fitness challenge...same as last year.  Still, a nice gesture!

The pedometer is actually better this year.  The screen is at the top!  It's so convenient, since all you  need to do is look down.  The other ones are forward facing so it takes a bit more effort.

Costco 9 grain buns:  free (RSP:  $5.49)
Blue snakeskin purse:  $2
Vintage mouse cheese plate:  $2

All @ Penny Pincher

I kind of like this thrift store!  The prices are almost always reasonable, and sometimes I find great stuff there.  But not too often.  At least today was different.

The first thing I picked up was that cheese plate. I thought it was so neat and kitsch!  It says "Don't tell pussycat" and it has a shushing mouse coming out of it...I might have even paid more for it, but there were no second thoughts at that price.

The snakeskin purse has a really basic design.  I wouldn't use it as is.  I only bought it because it was cheap enough to cut up, and the skin was still in near perfect condition.  I already used it to make another skull clutch:

Not perfect, but I'm pretty satisfied for my first time.  I have extra frames to customize, so here's hoping I find more cheap skins!

The buns were a nice surprise.  Turns out it was customer appreciation day, and everyone got a bag of bread with purchase.  I've never seen any other store do that!  It's a nice gesture.

It wasn't even expired either!  Well, it was short dated, but still.  Two days is a bit of time, plus bread lasts for pretty long in the freezer.

Gold fish scale belt with filigree bow buckle:  $1 @ Bibles for missions

This was just too good to pass up!  I'll have to resize it though, it's huge.

I think this is only my second or third time coming here.  It just doesn't seem very good!  Stock doesn't seem like it moves fast, and the stuff they do have just seems kind of old and worn.

This one was a no-brainer though.  I just love that bow!  Gold fish scales too...it's a winning combination.

ZenB by Zenobia Bawa - NWT Olive green silk halter dress:  $4 (RSP:  $225+)
La Regale - Vintage glass beaded purse:  $2.50
Seduction - Ruffled floral dress:  $3

Beaded sleeveless top:  $3
Forever 21 -  Ruffled floral tank:  $3

All @ Value Village

I almost didn't come here today.  But I did, since I remembered that I almost always find great stuff when I make an effort to go!  This one's a bit farther away than the other ones I go to though, which is why I was hesitant.

The black top doesn't look like much, but it has a beautiful beaded design on it:

It's really great quality.  It even zips up from the bottom!  I wonder who the maker was.

Close up of the beaded purse:

Like I said, I'm all about the beads lately!  Beaded purses are pretty common second hand, but none of them have ever caught my eye until now.

I just liked the colours on this one...and the design.  Plus, the fact that the beads are made of glass..it just feels exquisite to touch.

Also, the chord is made of metal.  Most of the ones I've seen just use nylon.  I don't want any of the cheap quality ones, but I wouldn't mind more like this one!

The floral things are cheap mall quality, but I just really liked them.  $3 seemed like an alright price for them.
