Expressions:  Oval stone hinge bracelet:  $3.59 @ The Bay (RSP:  $26)

The stone is semi precious and I really liked the design.  I think it's rose quartz.  I finally used up my gift card!  Free shipping too, and they used a stupidly large box.

Rebels refinery - pink skull lip balm:  $8 @ The Bay

More than I would usually pay, but since I had a gift card, I splurged.  Everything else at this store is pretty overpriced anyway, so I don't know when else I'd spend it!

I was thinking of getting the black, but I thought I'd like the pink better.  I still might get it later:

I got to choose three beauty samples, plus shipping was free, so that made it more worth it.  I got two vials of perfume and some moisturizer.

Keds - Triumph in lime punch:  $11 (RSP:  $55)

Reebok - Princess sneaker in black:  $21 (RSP:  $70)

Both @ The Bay

They're a bit more than I would usually pay, but I bought them because I had a gift card (plus shipping was free!).  The prices seemed reasonable considering the brands, but I wasn't sure how great the quality would be.

I actually ordered the sneakers in white, but they sent me the black one instead.  That colour is far more versatile so I'm happy with that.

The keds are nice enough, but I really dislike the colour now that I see it in person.  I'll probably end up returning them.

I saw a coupon online, so I decided to go get a sample from the Bay.  I wasn't sure about it, it seemed like a waste to print out a coupon for something they normally give out for free.

Well, I was going to be in the area so I decided to do it anyway.  Plus, my brother was there, so I got him to get me one too!

When I saw her open the drawer, my eyes just about popped out!  She probably had hundreds of samples!

Before that, I heard that the sales clerks hoarded them all of themselves and never gave them out.  I was glad to see that wasn't the case here!

I talked with her a bit and ended up getting some more samples.  I wish I could have gotten more, but she did introduce me to some fragrances I probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

Some of the fragrances have such cute scent cards too...the hummingbird was my favourite!  I should have checked out the other counters, but I was in a hurry.

Anyway, I never thought to go to department stores for samples because I thought they'd all be snooty, but the one here was really good!  I'm definitely going to be buying from her if I do end up wanting something.

Just in case I forget, her name was Anne!  A kindly older lady with brown or red hair.

Magid - Glittery purple gold frame box clutch:  $7.20 @ The Bay (RSP:  $30)

I went in here intending to use up the last of my gift card, but surprisingly, it scanned in lower than expected!

I thought it'd be $10.80, but I'm not complaining!  Things are 40% off now, they were only 30% when I bought the last clutch.

I still have three something left on my gift card, but I doubt I'll find something this cheap again.

Magid - Blue box clutch:  $12.59 free @ The Bay (RSP:  $30)
George - Zebra print heels:  $5 free @ Wal mart (RSP:  $20+)

Both of these were freebies, otherwise I probably wouldn't have picked up either.

The first was a gift exchange from the Bay.  That place is so expensive, I didn't think I'd find anything worthwhile!  This was the only decent thing I found.

They do have a lot of nice things there, but things are way too overpriced.  This was the only thing that wasn't insanely priced...but I have gotten similar things for as low as $2 before!

A better picture of the clutch.  It has a nice jewel closure:

I still have a $10 balance left.  Things were 30% off the last ticketed price this time.  I'll go again (to a different one) when things are clearanced a bit more.

I used my Tellwut card to get the shoes.  I was saving them for dolls, but they haven't been on sale for a long time (and I don't foresee any anytime soon), so I decided to splurge.

These shoes really aren't that great.  The print is just kind of screened on there, it looks kind of cheap.  Like a white shoe with that pattern sharpied on!

But since the heels are so thick and not so high, it's surprisingly comfortable.  Considering all of the circumstances, I thought, why not.
