Liquidation World was having another midnight madness sale today, so that was the primary reason for this whole trip.
Last time I got some amazing deals, but this time it was just like any other day. The pants I bought weren't affected by the sale at all...I had been eyeing them for a while, but wasn't sure if they would look nice (no fitting rooms).
The last time I saw them they were five bucks...once I saw them for this price, I thought it was worth a shot. If anything, I'm pretty sure they'd make cute shorts.
I then went to the
Value Village nearby. I haven't found any Sailor Moon items in a long time-the role playing toys are my favourite, so I was really excited when I found the above today.
I already have one, but that was in the grubbiest condition I've ever seen....it cleaned up ok, but I would have never bought anything else in such disgusting condition from a thrift store. The one I got today looks almost perfect, so it's a total upgrade. I just hope it works...
I heard that
Michael's was having some crazy clearance sale-$2 for a
garbage bag full of stuff-but sadly, I didn't see anything like that today.
The line ups were
huge though! I really didn't understand why. I took a quick look around the store, and everything seemed to be priced the same.
Picked up the same planner I had for this year. If I find something better, I might make a change, but I really like how these are formatted. The awesome drawings don't hurt either.
Finally, I found some cheap sunglasses at
Winners! I was in shock when I saw how cheap they were...I didn't even see any that low during final clearance time!
I don't normally buy sunglasses, but I couldn't pass them up for that price. Especially since I love Betsey Johnson.
The funny thing is, I was just thinking to myself during the last final clearance that I should pick up some sunglasses next time...that was after passing up some $3-$5 glasses.
I did see $1 glasses once, but they were broken a little, whereas these ones are in perfect condition. I guess I was just in the right place at the right time, since nothing else there was that cheap.
I can't wait until the next final clearance sale!
