Velvet purse:  $9.99
Snakeskin wristlet:  $3.99

Both @ Value Village

I hate paying full price, but these seemed worth it.  The velvet bag reminded me of a Birkin, and the leather is really luxurious.  It has a little bit of wear on the edges, but it doesn't look like it was used very much.

The snake skin wristlet on the other hand, is completely unused!  The front pouch is even lockable.

Joe Fresh - Python Print Silk shirt:  $9.04 (RSP:  $59)

Joe Fresh - Sequin snake skirt:  $4.04 (RSP:  $29)

I never normally buy from this store online, because their minimum for free shipping is usually around $50 and I never buy that much.  This time there was no minimum, so I had to jump on it!

The best part was, these are both lower than I thought they'd be!  I'm not sure if it was just a glitch, or if the site just wasn't up to date.  The python shirt was supposed to be $14.94, while the sequin skirt was supposed to be $6.94!!  Those prices are still the same even now.

I had a 10% off code, but this was way higher than that.  The price didn't even change until the very last minute.  Even when I was paying!  I tried to submit my payment twice, but each time there was an error.  But when it finally went through, I noticed that the total was lower!

Oh well, worked out great for me!  It only took about a week to receive too.  They packaged it pretty nicely.  The skirt even has a hanger, and the shirt has a cardboard backing.

Even the packing slip was on heavy weight paper!  I was pretty impressed.

Unfortunately, the clothes don't look as good on me as they do the model!  The snake skirt was a smaller size than I take, but I thought it would fit as a bodycon.  Well, it's not even a bodycon, but the silhouette is so weird!

It has pockets...which in turn makes me look like I have huge saddlebags!  Which is weird, because it's not tight on me at all, even though I normally wear a large.

The skirt is actually velvet with sequins too, which I wasn't expecting.  Hmm, well we'll see how it looks after I lose some weight!

The shirt doesn't fit either, sadly.  It also doesn't even feel like silk, even though it's 100%!  I would have thought it was just polyester if there was no tag.

They only had a medium left, and since the fit looked somewhat baggy on the model, I thought I could fit into it.

Well, I was wrong!  It's really form fitting!  I can't wear it right now.  I mean I can button it up, but it's super unflattering.

Maybe I can wear them both in a month!

Zara - Velvet military blazer:  $6.50 (4 days)(RSP:  $100+)
Born - Burnished leather Lewisa boots:  $10 (5 days)(RSP:  $225)

Furreal Zambi elephant:  $2 (13 days)(RSP:  $50+)
My Scene vespa:  $1 (3 days)

All @ Talize

I almost didn't go, but I'm sort of glad I did.  I always find neat stuff!

I have so many blazers, I really don't want to buy anything that's not high end.  But that Zara one had such a flattering design, I had to get it.

The boots are such wonderful quality, and they're new!  The soles only have store wear, they definitely haven't been worn outside.

They're so comfortable too!  This is a size 11, which is bigger than I normally use, but I thought it still looked ok.

I remember seeing that elephant in stores.  I think the lowest I saw it for was around $30, which I definitely wasn't going to pay.

But it was a no-brainer for $2!  I just hope it works.

All @ Winners

I'm happiest about that jumpsuit.  It's so neat!  What a great price too.

The velvet clutch is also quite pretty.  I just need to put something at the top, because a decoration is missing there.  No big deal...at least everything else is in perfect condition.

Smart set - lace jacket
Danier leather - suede jacket (RP:  $27.99)

Long black skirt w/pleats and rhinestone gathering (RP:  $6.99)
Long asymmetrical skirt (RP:  $5.99)

All $1 each @ Kim's Village

I've been waiting for another $1 sale!  They asked if I wanted to be phoned when they had another one so of course I said yes.  It turns out they have them whenever they have too much stock, which seems to be once a month.  Score!

I don't really like the Danier coat, but I thought I could use the leather for something.  Or maybe use it as is if I tailor it..right now it's really boxy and unflattering.

The skirts are flattering and a unique cut.  The photo doesn't do it justice, but the black skirt only has a few pleats on the left, plus a pleated rhinestone waistband design.

The grey skirt is made in the U.S. and says dry clean only, so I'm sure it was an expensive brand...I wish I knew who made it.

When I was paying they brought out the lace jacket - I just had to have it!  The gathered lace train is right up my alley, even though I really don't like velvet.  Overall, the design outweighs the fabric so it was a no-brainer, especially at that price.
