3 piece canister set:  $9.99 (RSP:  $19.99)\

Peony bath set:  $4.99 (RSP:  $14.99)

Both @ London Drugs

I just bought the second one for the neat cage.  I saw it when it was half off, so I'm glad it went down even more!

I need more canisters and I like ones with animals on them, especially birds!  I thought this was a great deal so I'm happy they had one left in stock.  I bought it online with free shipping.

Lava lite - Mini volcano lamp:  $5.99 @ London Drugs (RSP:  $17.99)

It was on sale for $10.99, plus my brother let me use her LD rewards.  It's fun but I'd rather have a glitter lamp!  They had a bunch listed in stock but none of them actually had them.

Relaxus - himalayan salt tea light holder:  $1.71 @ London Drugs (RSP:  $5.99)

I've seen these at winners for a long time, but they're always around $10 or more.  The lowest one I saw was $9 on clearance.  I didn't really want to pay that much...at the time I was more interested in having a lamp.

Well, now I'm obsessed with candles, and I want a candle holder over a lamp!  I saw that they were at London Drugs for $5.99, regular price!  That's so much lower than anywhere else I've seen.

Even on the manufacturer's website, they're $7.50 each!  I think that's the first time I've seen a retailer sell something below the manufacturer's suggested price.

Anyway, they only had a picture of the box on LD's website, and the one pictured didn't look very nice:

I saw there were four in stock at the one near me, so I decided to take a look.

Turns out there was such a variation!  One was huge...it was too big for the box!  I thought it was kind of unsightly, I didn't like it.

Another one was tiny...almost half the size of the one I ended up getting.  Two of them were the size and shape I wanted (roughly round), but one didn't have much colouring, so it was an easy choice.

I got $5 off by using my LD rewards birthday gift, so it ended up being an amazing deal!

It looks beautiful in use too.  It also came with a tea light candle, which wasn't the case with any of the other ones I've seen.  It only lasted around 3 hours, but no complaints for a free candle!

Modern Home Imports - Set of 2 550 ml glass skull mugs:  $9.99 @ London Drugs

I actually saw this on the internet a while ago, when I was looking up that glass bottle I bought at Daiso. This was made by the same manufacturer!

Back then I wished they carried this mug too, since I thought that I would have definitely bought it if it were the right price.

Well, it was!  Even though I hate paying full price, retail seemed very reasonable.  When I looked it up online when I got home,  saw them selling upwards of $17 each!!  The cheapest I found it for was $15 for the two, but it would have been way more with shipping.

There were only two sets left, so that helped me make the decision.  They also had these skull shot glasses:

They were only $6.99 for 6!  Such a reasonable price, considering they're usually $2 each online from China.  Packaged like this from the same manufacturer, I've seen them for around $15 online.  I think I might go back and get them.

They had that same glass bottle too, it was priced at $6.99.  Still an ok price, but I'm glad I got mine cheaper!

Starfrit - Mightican can opener:  $11.19 (RSP:  $15.99)
Starfrit - Little Beaver can opener:  $9.79 (RSP:  $13.99)

Both @ London Drugs

I had a gift card, so I decided to buy these.  I don't think I've seen them on sale before, so I had to get them now.

They're way more expensive than the cheap ones I usually get, but I'm tired of having to replace those.  Hopefully these will last a while!

They have a three year warranty, so it should last at least that long.  From the reviews I've seen, they can practically last forever!  The dollar store ones have all broken within a year.

esQue - Alfresco Sachi style square serving platter with dipping dish and spoon set (3):  $.99 @ London Drugs (RSP:  $9.99)

I was really unsure about this, since there were basically no details on the website.  For the price, I assumed it was just melamine..but I really liked the design, and thought the price was great.

It showed that there were 4 at one store in my area, and 3 at another.  Both were way out of the way, so I didn't know if I wanted to bother.

After a week, they were all still there!  So I decided to order from the one that had 4.  Low and behold, they ended up being sold out!

I was sure it would be the same case for the other one, so I just made the order on a whim.  Well, they actually did have it in stock!

But since it was so so out of the way, I thought I might just let my order expire and get a refund.  I'm glad I didn't!

Everything is actually made out of porcelain!  I thought for sure that at least the dish and spoon were made out of plastic.

The dish is pretty big and very nice quality.  A total steal for $1!  Even $10 was pretty reasonable for this.  I'm glad I got them!

Lalaloopsy Girls - Peanut big top and Splot Splatter Splash:  $11.97 each (RSP:  $19.99)

I got the one on the left at London Drugs, and the other one at Walmart.  Both of them were price matched, but I wanted to buy them at those places to get rid of my gift cards.  Nothing out of pocket, hooray!

Walmart was actually better, because the 10% discount actually did apply to it.  I wasn't sure about that when it came to price matches.

I've wanted these girls for so long.  I love how they look!  They remind me of Japanese pose dolls.  This is my favourite line so far, and I've wanted them for months...but I wanted to wait for a sale.

The last time I saw them for $14.99, but this is a much better deal.  I do want to get at least one more, one of the colour changing ones that retails for $25.  I'm waiting for that one to go around half off, so we'll see how long that takes.

Betsey Johnson eau de parfum set:  $22.99 @ London Drugs (RSP:  $45 - $60)

This set comes with a 30 ml EDP spray, a 75 ml body lotion, and a 75 ml shower gel.  London Drugs sometimes has great deals on gift sets, I wish I started paying attention before!  I still had a gift card so I decided to get this once I found out about it.

The regular price is $45 on their website, but oddly enough, they charge $60 just for the perfume in that size!  Where's the logic in that?

Anyway, I tested it when I got there.  It started off really fruity, so I thought I'd like it.  It wasn't at my local store so I didn't want to go there for nothing.  I figured I could return it if I didn't like it.

Well, I didn't like it!  It was only fruity for a few minutes, and then it turned into a horrible mess.  It was so brash and gross, but it finally dried down to something somewhat pleasant.

But that didn't last very long either, and it was quite faint at the end.  It was probably on me 3 hours max.

Plus...it smelled kind of cheap.  Not super cheap, but maybe celebrity perfume cheap.

I really wanted to like this, but I think it's going back.  It gave me a headache at times.  It is somewhat unique, but there are too many parts I don't like.  I'd smell my wrist and like it only half the time or so.

I returned the Katy Perry gift set as well.  I just hope the next one will be a winner!

In another news...I tried Black XS by Paco Rabanne and was pretty shocked.  It lasted THIRTY hours on me and even withstood a SHOWER!  No other perfume has done that before.

I wasn't in love with the smell, but it was a nice, standard smell.  It didn't smell cheap, but it wasn't distinguishable either.

I saw someone selling an unopened bottle for $20...I might buy it if it's still available.  I just couldn't believe the staying power!  It was still very strong near the end too.

Katy Perry - Meow! gift set:  $28.99 @ London Drugs (RSP:  $49.99 - $65+)

The set includes the following:

-100  ml eau de parfum spray
-10 ml eau de parfum roll on
-120 ml shimmering body lotion
-120 ml shower gel

I really don't know why I bought this.  I was just browsing online and saw this gift set...I thought it was a great price, considering the perfume alone retails for $65!  I've even seen people pay $80 plus shipping for this set on eBay!

I never thought I'd buy a celebrity perfume, but I actually smelled her other one and really liked it.  I can't remember if I smelled this one or not.  If so, I didn't think much of it.

Well....I really loved the bottle!  And I thought I might like the scent (since I read online that this dries similar to her other one), so I decided to buy the set in case I liked it.

Plus...it was sold out at my nearest store, and the other one only had one in stock!  I didn't know how long the sale would last, so I decided to go out and buy it right away.  It was on my mind for the last few days, so I just had to go!

This is what it looks like from the outside:

On the inside:

I saw the 30 ml versions for $20 each at Shoppers drug mart, but didn't think it was worth it (that's how much my Lempicka's cost!).

This one was $9 more for 70 more ml, plus all of those extras!  That one seemed worth it.  Moreover, I didn't have to pay anything since I had some gift cards (thanks Mom!).

I'm going to see if I can test the fragrance at another store, I still might end up returning this.  Too bad Purr wasn't on sale, I really like that one!

I read that some people in the US were finding this size perfume for $20, some as low as $10!  I would have preferred to pay that much, but I doubted it would ever go that low here.

Well, I'll be kicking myself if it does!  Who knows what will happen after Christmas!  Paying $20 less and foregoing the extras would be a no-brainer.

3 x 3 Venus disposable blades (RSP:  $10.99+ each)
Jergens moisturizer (RSP:  $10+)
2 x Toilet duck cleaner (RSP:  $3+ each)

$3.82 for all @ London Drugs

Just the tax, practically!  I had a dollar left over from the blades, 9 cents left over from the moisturizer. I just remembered I had one more $2 coupon I could have used on the razor stack, so I'm pretty annoyed at myself about that.  I'm pretty sure I won't have any other chance to use it!

I really wished I waited until now to stack, since I could have gotten a way better deal than before!  The packs above are even better because they come with a bonus reusable Venus Embrace.  $5 for 4 razors practically, while I paid $10 for half that last time!

I also redeemed my FPC for stayfree pads at Shopper's drug mart, but I forgot to include it in the picture.  It expires in a week so I thought I should get a move on it.

Green works bathroom cleaner (RSP:  $4+)
2 x Green works detergents (RSP:  $3+)
2 x Clairol nice'n easy hair dyes (RSP:  $10)
2 x Cover girl professional mascaras (RSP:  $7)

$3.22 @ London Drugs

All of it was taxes.  I think I probably should have gotten the mascara at Superstore, then I'm pretty sure it would have been free!

Satin care shave gels (RSP:  $3 each)
Venus embrace razors (RSP:  $15.99 each)
Secret deodorant (RSP:  $3+ each)
Old spice deodorant and body wash (RSP:  $3-$6 each)

$10.76 for all @ London Drugs (RSP:  $110+)

Today was kind of exciting-it was my first time doing a somewhat sizeable stacking trip!  It was really exhilarating seeing the total go from over $100 down to around $10.

Some stores even let the coupons be applied to the taxes, but this one wouldn't let me.  I thought I got a really good deal already, but it sort of stings knowing people at some different stores are actually paid money to take away the above.

Well, at least I'm set for this year.  The Old Spice stuff was for my brother.

Pink silicone bracelet watch:  $.01 @ Brands Dragon
Iridescent grey/black rose clutch:  $5.99
Star projector:  $4.99
Love star projector:  $4.89

All off Ebay

I love stars and planetariums, so I basically freaked out when I discovered these!  I've always considered buying one of those home planetarium type toys, but the price was a deterrent.

These ones have better designs and a multicolour LED function, plus they were reasonably priced..so I had to get them!

This is what the love one looks like:

I had some reservations because of the tacky backwards text, but I thought it might be fixable, which it was!  I'm really happy with this one.

This is what the one I received projects:

The other one I bought was supposed to be a more realistic starry sky, but the seller sent me the wrong one!  This is the one I was supposed tor receive:

I was actually considering the one I received, but I didn't need two that were that similar.  I really hope the seller will do something to remedy this!

Softlips lip balms:  all 6 for $.92 @ London Drugs (RSP:  $4.99 each)
Sailor Moon light up music box:  $1.99 @ Value Village

My first time coupon stacking at London Drugs.  I had a $2 manufacturer's coupon, plus they were having their own promo where you got a free one with the purchase of two other ones.  Had to price match to get the deal.

I originally did it to give some away, but now I kind of want to keep them myself..I'll probably go back for some to actually give away tomorrow.

Went to Value Village today on a whim.  Funnily enough, this is my 3rd box-my other two came from here as well, this exact location.

This one's in near mint condition, while the other ones are pretty rough.  I'll probably try to sell the other two now that I have this one.
