Picked these up for my brother.  What a great deal!  There are a few more I've seen online, so I'm hoping I can find them eventually.

Most of them came with something.  The Tomb Raider book came with a keychain, one of the books came with some iron on patches, the starcraft one comes with some paper models...I don't think the unity one came with anything.

I actually need 4 rolls of that paper, so I'm really hoping I can find it at another one.  These ones were the only rolls that weren't Christmas themed, so I don't know how easy it'll be to find them.

The colouring book was an impulse buy.   That was regular price!  It was $1 US and $1 Canadian, which was a nice change.  Usually the Canadian price is much higher.

Finally!  I heard these mega bloks figures were there a few weeks ago, but I could never find them until then.  I considered buying some of these for a few bucks more, so I'm happy they ended up here.

The adventure time book was an impulse buy.  There wasn't a price tag on it, but it was the last one there...it just looked cute and fun so I couldn't resist.

Another subscriber freebie...I love this mall!  It came packaged like this:

They said it was a $47 value, and there were only 20 of them there.  I found out about it 3 hours after they posted it, so I'm happy they still had some left.

I saw a TMNT version of the drawing kit, but I passed because it looked kind of cheap.  The paint job was horrible!  It was seriously bootleg quality,



This one looked great though, so I had to get it.  I just thought it was so cute, and it also had a function, which was a plus.



Well, turns out it's stuck to that book!  I thought it was removable, but I ended up doing that myself easily enough.

I know Dollarama sells similar scrapbooks for $2 or $3, but I don't think they're as nice as this one.

The cat set was neat...it has a recipe book for cat food!  This is what it looks like on the inside:

I don't normally like coming here because it's really disorganized, and the stock seems to be the same all of the time.  But sometimes they have decent stuff!

Places like these remind me how much of a ripoff most thrift stores are!  I don't normally go to garage sales since most of them are disappointing, but since this one was nearby (and presumably good sized) I decided to go.

I wasn't disappointed!  My favourite find was the crocodile skin purse, it was the first thing I picked up:

All of the clothes were in piles, it was such a hassle to go through!  Now I know how people  at those outlet centers feel.  I was so slow about it too!

The jeans were nice and looked pretty new, plus, I like Guess.  I thought they would fit me, but sadly, they don't!  I'm sure they will once I lose the weight though, so I'll keep them in storage for now.

The shirt...it was true vintage, and I normally like lacy ruffled things.  But it wasn't as great when I tried it on at home.

The place had no mirrors, that was another downside!  But since it all went to a good cause (and it was super cheap!) I didn't mind so much.

I spent $6 total....that would have been the price of the purse alone at a thrift store, and that's only if I luck out and they price it cheap!

The books were kind of an oddity.  They had piles of them on their doorstep!  They were all new, I wonder if the author has kids that go to that school....or something...

I normally don't buy used books, but when I saw this one on display, I just had to take a look.  Just read the title!  I had to know what was inside.

Well, turns out it's a volume of hilarious comics.  Seriously!  I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.  I spent a good amount of time just standing there and reading it, but I wouldn't have bought it just for that.

This is why:

It's signed by the author, there's even a drawing on the inside cover!  I thought that was special.  Otherwise, I probably would have just read it online or bought a new copy somewhere else.
