Brown jogging pants: $1.99
Hot Kiss jeans t shirt: $1.99
Both @ District factory outlet
I don't normally bother looking around Chinatown since I can get better deals at Liquidation World or Winners, but I was in the area and saw this shop. It was closing down, so I decided to take a look.
Everything in the $2 bin was flawed in some way (the shirt has a slight run), but I can't find anything wrong with the pants...I wonder if I should be worried. I only wear these type of pants at home; I already have a lot of pajama bottoms, so I passed on this the first time around.
I decided to go back, since I don't have any other pants exactly like this. I also decided to really dig in deep this time...and that's when I unearthed the shirt above!
The shoulder detailing is what sold me on it-it's studded with a keyhole relief. I'm also pretty partial to monochrome prints so I picked it up despite the flaw...it doesn't hurt that both items are new with tags!
High School Musical - 8 piece decor in a box set: $1.99 @ Liquidation World (RSP: $39.99-$49.99)
I don't care for the series at all, but I thought some of the pieces were really cute-mainly the shelves.
I'm going to be obliterating every trace of its origins before I use it, of course. It's still on the manufacturer's site!

Sunglasses: free @ Swimco
3 x Goggles: $1 each @ EFADS
Eyelashes: $4.83 @ Ebay
Why the toy label? Most of these things were for my dolls...I'm in one of those moods again.
The glasses were a promotion-they're really cheap quality. We're talking the bare minimum necessary to be approved for human use. If I had known they looked like this, I probably wouldn't have bothered picking them up. I suppose I'll use them when I don't care how I look/don't care what happens to them.

Snakeskin box purse: $5 (RSP: $36.50)
Studded kisslock purse: $5 (RSP: $41)
Big ruffled purse: $5 (RSP: $41)
All @ Icing.
This came as quite the surprise-for one thing, I didn't even think this sale was going on. Only a few days ago, it wasn't-I found that strange, since they're normally held simultaneously with Claire's 10 for $10 sale.
Anyhow, I ended up being in the area-I wasn't planning on going this way, but luckily we ended up taking a detour in that direction. I saw they had their clearance sale on, and decided to go in.
I was amazed! They had the biggest selection of clearance purses I had ever seen...which was quite a feat for this particular store, since it's normally pretty picked over. Since this is the busiest one, I've never found anything good here...but I suppose I just happened to be there at the right time.
There was one more box type purse that I was thinking about getting, but in the end I left it. I might end up picking it up again in the future, who knows.
The black ruffled purse is the same as the one I bought previously-or so I thought.
Disappointingly, it doesn't have any studs on it. It's pretty lackluster without it...it doesn't look like they all fell off, so I wonder why they opted to go the plain route for this one.

Burnished grey pvc bomber jacket: $15 @ Sirens (RSP: $29)
Black rosette top: $5 @ Sirens (RSP: $19.50)
Kurhn clone doll: $1.49 @ Value Village
I actually went here yesterday as well-I grappled with making a purchase there, but decided to check out another location in hopes they would have the right sizing. They didn't, so I scrambled to get back here today-ironically, I ended up purchasing something completely different than what I intended!
Previously, I wanted to get a ruffled Dollhouse coat and a white/black trench coat-when I tried them on again today, I thought they looked hideous! This was the coat:
I would have jumped on it if it was this one! Sirens and Dollhouse must source from the same manufacturer, I don't see why it would be there otherwise.
I'm really glad I didn't pick them up then, since after the fact I really lamented not doing so (and having to make the return trip the next day).
Same deal with the doll. I saw it yesterday, took way too long to make a decision, then decided to leave it. I thought it was a Kurhn doll, but since I didn't see any markings I wasn't sure.
Turns out she's a clone, but they use the exact head mold. I'm kind of disappointed she's not the real thing, but glad I got her anyway. Ironically, I thought she was prettier than the official ones due to her rooted eyelashes.

Black flower belt (RSP: $11.50)
Pink plaid/pink flower skinny belt duo (RSP: $11.50)
Pink lace fingerless gloves (RSP: $7.25)
Flower compact (RSP: $4.50)
White sunglasses (RSP: $9.75)
Studded black gloves (RSP: $9.75)
Lace/pleather gloves (RSP: $9.75)
Card suit gloves (RSP: $9.75)
Hello Kitty purse (RSP: $11.50)
10 for $10 @ Claire's.
I spent soooo long at this location...I really only wanted the lace/pleather gloves, the sunglasses, and the compact (it's also a handy pop out brush!)-I wanted them so much I decided it was worth it to pad out my order.
It took until closing time for me to decide-I'm satisfied with what I picked out, except I wish I didn't pick up the studded gloves. I forgot that I already had them in that colour, and these ones have some missing studs that I didn't notice at the time.
I wish I picked up another pair of lace/pleather gloves, since the seem is coming undone at one of the fingers.
I also wouldn't have minded a backup pair, since these are comfortable and look great...whereas the other ones are uncomfortably tight. Oh well, live and learn!
I don't really care for Hello Kitty, but I didn't think anything else there was worth it. I'll probably see if I can give it to someone who's into that sort of thing.

5 x Hanes 2 pack thongs: $.20 each @ Liquidation World (RSP: $5-$9.99 each)
I was in the area, so I decided to venture into the local Liquidation World. I really wasn't expecting to see anything new-for the most part there wasn't, but I came upon these little gems right here.
I don't really need any more underwear, but for that quality, and that price, I decided to pick them up. Besides, I love pink, and I especially love pink polka dots! The rest of the trip ended up being a bust, so I'm glad I didn't walk away empty handed.
There were around 15 there but I only picked up 5-hooray for restraint!

Drag Me to Hell bluray: $3 @ Blockbuster (RSP: $9.99)
The Host dvd: $2.09 @ Blockbuster (RSP: $6.99)
Black shirred halter dress: $5.99 @ Angela Fashions (RSP: $12.99)
Lace rosette bib necklace: $2.79 @ Claire's (RSP: $21)
Purple shirred halter dress: $5.99 @ Angela Fashions (RSP: $12.99)
I liked that dress so much, I decided to get it in all available colours-heaven help me if there end up being more.
I don't normally like paying that much for a necklace from Claire's, but I was just so smitten with this one-it's so pretty! I know I could make one myself, but with the time and effort it would take to source the materials....I decided to just pay the three bucks.
I went to Blockbuster to use my gift card before the store closed down, but sadly, they weren't accepting them.
I don't normally buy movies, but I just loved these ones...they were movies I would watch more than once, so I picked them up since they were cheap. I definitely wouldn't have been willing to pay more than I did.

Shirred lace halter dress: $5.99 @ Angela Fashions (RSP: $13.99)
This is the same style as the other one, except this one's a dress-I thought this color combination was much better, so I decided to get it in the end. I probably would have still bought the first one if I knew this one existed, the style is so pretty.
I didn't realize that they were different lengths until I got home. The last one was definitely a top, while this one looks like it might be a passable dress. Now I'm thinking about getting another 'dress' in black....I kind of wish I didn't buy the first top now.
It's just too bad that the quality is kind of shoddy-the ties up top are already half ripped off. I bought it anyway, since I'm such a sucker for lace.

Musical jewelry box: $4.99 @ Salvation Army
I really didn't want to pay that much, but I found it so charming....I finally relented since it was for charity.
Ironically, the guy behind me tried to haggle for a hat-the clerk was willing to offer him a 25% off discount, so perhaps I'll try my luck the next time I'm in this conundrum.
I actually left the store and came back for it! You can see why I was so enamored with this thing: it plays Swan lake, and it features dancing swans!
If it was a few bucks I would have picked it up without a second thought, but I was unsure for five bucks. It is only plastic, I wouldn't have hesitated if it was made of a better quality material.
It's marked YAP's Hong Kong 1981 on the back-turns out the company is still around, good for them!
They have some awesome stuff-I would have been soooo happy if I found this one instead! I'm going to have to keep my eye out for this company.
