Rebecca Taylor - Ruffled pink silk dress:  $6.50 (RSP:  $400+!)

MM Couture by MISS ME - Ruffled black silk dress:  $6.50 (RSP:  $100+)

Both @ Talize

These two were must haves...both were so gorgeous!  I knew the first one was special since it was lined in silk too...almost all of the other silk dresses I've seen have been lined in polyester, including the black one.

I was surprised and happy when I found out how much it retailed for, but it really has no resale value.

Not that I'd sell it.  It's so gorgeous!  Reminds me of something from a fairtytale, it even has a little bit of a trail at the back!

I had to pass on these beauties since they were too small..otherwise I would have gotten them too!

I can not believe my recent silk windfall!  I've probably seen at least 30 pieces this week...whereas before, I was hard pressed to find even one piece per visit!

Sonia Lazaroff - leather bomber jacket: $10
Transparent striped belt: $1.50
Costa Blanca - Chiffon flower dress: $6.50

All @ Talize

I almost didn't pick up the jacket, but then I came to my senses! It looks new and it feels like butter...it's made in Italy, but I've never heard of the designer.

I paid way too much for the flower dress, but I loved it so much I had to get it. I want more florals for spring, but it's hard to find something that's not ugly.

This dress was so me!  I loved everything about it...I just had to have it.  Even the print looked beautiful!

I normally pass up those kind of belts, but this one was different - the elastic had black and transparent stripes!  I thought that was really cool.

Funnily enough, I found the exact same on in a solid black at another store, for the exact same price.  It's so boring like that!

Mondi - Wool military blazer:  $3
Kar Mei - Burgundy/white sleeveless blouse:  $2.50
Black fish scale belt with gold buckle:  $2.50

All @ Value Village

The blazer was the only thing I was sure about, what a great deal!  Most of them were around $13, so I was surprised to see this one so low.

I was really unsure about the blouse.  It's some Japanese brand I've never heard of...it's not even silk!

In the end, I bought it because I really liked it, and it looks really modern.  Plus, it was cheap enough...I definitely wouldn't have paid any more than that.  Those ugly flowers have got to go though.

The belt:

At first I put it back, but then it just grew on me!  I love fish scale belts, and I don't have any in this colour.  This one was in perfect condition!

JR USA - Faux pearl box clutch:  $1
Gold buckle snakeskin belt:  $2

Both @ Penny Pincher

I was short on time, but I just had to check it out!  I almost always buy something when I come here, prices are so reasonable!

Anyway, I wasn't disappointed!  I've seen that clutch there for about a month, but it was priced at $5 before...way more than I wanted to pay.

I checked it again, and noticed it was now only $1!  I was so surprised and excited, that was such a steal!  I was hoping that it was half price, since items of a certain letter were half off today.

I was wishy washy on the belt, but since I was already buying the clutch I decided to get it anyway.

So ends the most exciting thrift weekend ever!  I love half off sales, but please, space them farther apart next time!

Calvin Klein - ruffled collar blouse:  $4

Seductions - Pearl collar silk top:  $3.50

Both @ Value Village

I was so surprised when I found the seductions top!  That's the brand they sell at sirens...I didn't think they'd ever use materials this good!  I'm glad I paid attention to the content label, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bought it.

Actually, I have seen suede coats by them, which surprised me as well.  But I wonder where these are being sold??  I've only seen cheap quality stuff at mine!

The Calvin Klein top was an afterthought.  I wasn't sure about it but I grabbed it anyway.  I just really liked the collar!

J.Crew - Sophia - Grey silk halter dress:  $6.50 @ Value Village (RSP:  $204)

I almost didn't buy this!  There were two grey silk J.Crew dresses there, and this looked like the plainer one.  I didn't try it on at first since I was over my limit, but I decided that I might as well see before leaving it behind.

Well, I'm glad I did.  This one was way better than the other one!  I liked the skirt better on the other
one (it was more gathered and had a flowy skirt), but the top part had this weird unflattering bulge at the chest.

Plus, it was more expensive!  I definitely made the right choice.

I looked it up, and it turns out it's still being sold on their site!  It's the Louisa:

Shockingly, it retailed for $290, almost $100 more than the one I bought!  I'm so surprised.

The one I did buy is pretty similar to this other silk dress I have, but since they had different finishes (this one's matte, the other one's shiny) I thought it was ok.

White quilted box purse with glitter accents:  $3.50
Emage - NWT pink peplum princess top:  $6.50

Both @ Value Village

It was a half off day, so I decided to go.  Surprisingly, most of the stock was the same as 5 days ago!  I spent a long time looking through everything, but I only came back with these.

The box purse has been there for almost two weeks now!  I was interested in it before, but I thought it wasn't cheap enough  I don't think it's been used, but there are some yellow glue stains at the bottom from age.

I'm glad it was still around!  $3.50 was definitely a reasonable price for this.  I really like the design, especially the longer handle.  A lot of box purses don't have that.

I probably wouldn't have bought the top if it weren't new with tags.  I do love the style though, it puffs out at the shoulders and has a peplum at the waist.
