Bag of toys:  $.99
Vintage made in Italy lucite purse:  $5.99

Both @ Value Village.

It's been a long while!  I missed thrifting.  I'd like to go more regularly, but it does feel like a waste of gas when I don't buy anything.  Then when I do buy something, a lot of the times it's overpriced!

Anyway, I was happy with what I found today.  A LPS Blythe was in there...finally!  I haven't found one in ages.

It also came with this neat car.  It turns out it's the Itsy Bitsy Bratz Kool Kat Cruiser:

Even though I've never liked any of the dolls, Bratz always had such neat vehicles!  I wish this one had doors that could open, but at least it looks great.  The trunk does open, and it has all of these cute cat related details!  Paw shaped rear mirrors, and a fish air freshener.

Though...why would a cat drive a car?  Especially one like the above, which doesn't seem to have any limbs.

I always buy any lucite purse I find.  This was a reasonable price to pay, so I'm happy about it.  The colour is gorgeous!

I was going to buy a snakeskin bag for $6.99, but I passed.  Even though it looked unused, it did have some storage wear.

I just thought it was too much to pay for something I would cut up.  I do have some skins in that colour already!  It was kind of an orange colour, really common in vintage skins.

Pearlescent lucite/acrylic clutch:  $4.99
Le Chateau - NWT Rhinestone square clutch:  $1.99 (RSP:  $39.99)

Both @ Value Village

I always find such great stuff here!  I have a theory that it's because no fashionistas come to this location.  It is pretty out of the way and in a small city.

Oh well, more for me!  I was so happy to find the plastic clutch, I always buy them when I see them.  I just think they're so beautiful, and they've been making a comeback lately!  Jimmy Choo has been making very similar ones for $600!

I was so surprised their regular price was so reasonable, especially since it looks unused!  Most of the time they're around $10, which I would still gladly pay for these kind of purses.  Of course, I'm happiest paying around the price I did!

I probably wouldn't have picked up the other one if it wasn't so cheap or new with tags.  I was totally surprised it was that low, you rarely see that!

I wish this place wasn't so out of the way.  I'm sure I'd be finding gems regularly there!  This is where I found my awesome leopard purse, which is still one of my favourite finds ever!

La Belle Montreal - Brown snakeskin purse:  $2.50
High fashion Italy - Woven leather purse:  $2.50
Mother of pearl plastic clutch:  $4

All @ Value Village

This was a total surprise!  I didn't expect to find anything good (pursewise) at this location, but I found all three at the very end of the rack.  The mother of pearl one was actually hidden, I had to untangle a bunch to see it.

All of them look unused, plus they were surprisingly cheap.

I'm happiest about the mother of pearl one, it's way bigger than my other ones, and it's so beautiful!

Green and white Romanesque bracelet:  $.70 (Highest:  $2.55)
Gold multistrip stretch bracelet:  $1.26 (Highest:  $2.82)
Clear red and silver bracelet:  $.72 (Highest:  $2.69)
Brown floral cut out belt:  $2.56 (Highest:  $5.29)

All off eBay.

I really dropped the ball on this one!  I regret buying all of the gold cuffs above...I thought they were metal, and they all turned out to be cheap plastic.  The listing was really misleading.

I do love the pink one though, and I knew for sure that was plastic. Surprisingly,  don't care for the red one at all.

The belt was a disappointment too.  It looked so gorgeous in that picture, I was totally smitten with it for a while!  The quality is really crappy in person though.

Funnily enough, I saw the exact same belt at Value Village for $6!  So stupid, it cost me less new!

Vintage brown textured shell lucite purse:  $5
Patent leather embossed crocodile texture purse:  $5
Ruched khaki blouse w/off shoulder cuffs:  $3

All @ Value Village.

Great haul from this one!  My heart skipped a beat when I saw that plastic purse...I love those!  I hardly see them.

There wasn't a tag on this one, but I found one on the floor where the purse was (...which was also on the floor).  It was pretty pricey, so I thought it was right.

Luckily they didn't give me any hassles about it, though they probably would have if the price were more reasonably priced.

The other purse wasn't that exciting, I passed it up when I saw it at full price.  I didn't realize it was real leather at that time though.  I don't have many patent leather bags so it was a no-brainer.

I also liked the style..it had two front flaps, which I hadn't seen before.

I actually wonder if it might be real crocodile skin now!  I was doing research (for another bag, ironically) and I noticed that this one has what looks to be pores all over.

Still, it needs a little extra oomph.  I'm planning on studding the front..that would make it an awesome addition to my wardrobe!

I loved the design of the khaki blouse, so I took it home even though it was pilled a little bit.  Sadly, it doesn't look great on me, but I'm hoping it'll look better after I lose some weight.

Albert nipon - Silk skirt:  $3.50
J.Renee - studded suede pumps:  $5

Cosmo - Pearlescent plastic box purse:  $7
Fuschia snakeskin purse:  $4.20
Gold mesh purse:  $4.20

All from Value Village.

I'm glad I came in today!  Most of the above just hit the floors so I don't know how long they would have lasted.

I love the pearlescent purse, but it was such a ripoff.  $10!  Everything was 30% off with my spring savings pass, but $7 was still way too much for that purse, especially considering the condition.

It's rusty almost everywhere, leaving a gross brown stain, well, everywhere.  The lining is falling apart and is in gross condition too.

But I just loved it so much it had to come home with me.  I do have it in blue!  I didn't think I'd see it again so I had to snatch it up.

Shoe detailing:

These are awesome!  The heels aren't that high so it's not too bad to walk in.  Otherwise, I would have left them behind.

I just love all of the studs.

Fuschia isn't really my colour but it looked like new, I like the design, and I'm a sucker for snakeskin.

The gold purse shows some wear on the inside but it still looks great outside.  I love how it shines in the light.

Delane - plastic box purse:  $2.25

Another one of those random bus stop thrift stores.  I can't even remember the name, and I didn't even get a receipt.

This is the best thrift shop I've ever been to!  Well, I certainly thought it was charming.  It was crammed wall to wall with interesting stuff, and the prices were decent.

I spotted this little purse and knew I had to have it.  It reminded me of those adorable lucite box purses from the 50's, except in a more modern style.  I love the patterning, it looks like shell.

That's why I love thrift shopping!  You find so many unique things.
Plus, most things were 30% off!  There was this adorable map purse I wanted but I didn't have enough cash on me.

I'm planning on going back today...I hope it's still there!
