12 "babe" cocktail sticks:  $.50 @ Yoko yaya

I've never seen anything that cheap there, so I was shocked when I saw the price.  They're fun and kitschy,  so why not.

I was surprised this was so reasonable!  This location normally overcharges for everything, even before all of the rest started doing that!

I guess they didn't think it was vintage.  Actually, I guess I can't be sure it's vintage either, since I have seen vintage reproductions on alibaba even now!

This is a knockoff of a Lefton "Miss Priss" cookie jar.  I think the mold might be EXACTLY the same:

That one's so much cuter!  The difference in quality is noticeable, and so is the price.  Still, I have seen people ask for around $50 for this exact one!  I'm happy for the price I paid.

And both more than I wanted to pay!  I was seriously disgusted at the pricing I saw today.  Almost everything was TWICE the price they normally charge!  I've noticed this at every location I've visited lately, so it's pretty disturbing.

These were more like their old pricing, but they have been half that price at times.  I hope it doesn't get any higher than this!

I was unsure about the Bradley type doll.  I love how she looks, but this one was in really dirty condition!  And you can't really clean them...I've heard that they can disintegrate when you try!  Here's one in perfect condition:

This was musical,  but sadly mine doesn't work.  It's also missing the wind up mechanism.   I've seen people sell working ones for $50-$60, so $6 is an ok price for one in this condition.

Pink cat vase:  $2.99 @ Value Village

There were no markings on it, but I could tell it was from the 50's by the style.

Looking online, it's very similar to a Lefton vase!  I thought that's what it was until I looked at the details closer.  Pretty sure it had a bowtie that was broken off...and there was an adorable matching deer:

It doesn't look that similar there, but from other angles, definitely. 

The one on the right is my cat, but not my picture...that one sold for $25 on etsy, so not bad!  I think mine looks better, because it's not obvious there's a hole in the head from the front.  

Akashya - Ankle length belted grey skirt:  $5.60 @ Value Village

This isn't made out of any extraordinary materials, but I just really liked the style.  It's so flattering on!  Plus, I really liked the belt.  $2.60 for the belt and $3 for the skirt seemed worth it to me.

I also got this football dog planter for $2.99:

It's from 1964 and made in Japan by Samson import company.  I wasn't sure how old it was since the theme seemed modern, plus it felt a little different than regular porcelain...but once the sticker came off, there was no doubt.

I wasn't sure when I picked it up, but now I'm glad I did!  It totally grew on me, plus it looks great with flowers in it!

Finally!  A nice vintage silk scarf.  I knew it was good quality from how the hems were rolled.  I have seen vintage silks scarves in the past, but they were never cheap enough, or in good enough condition to buy.  

Thankfully that's over!  I'm looking forward to finding more.  The instrument playing monkeys is what drew me to this one.  New ones seem to be going for around $150, this one's probably from the 70's.

The cat stray....it's just so kitschy, I had to have it!  The cat's expression is hilarious, and the whole thing is made out of fake fur.  

I'm just surprised they used glass for this.  Plastic would have been more fitting!  The plastic bubbles kind of look like paw prints too, which adds another level of fun to it.

Plus...it was only a dollar!  What more could you want?

I was looking for some frames, but I came across these instead.  I almost didn't buy them, but I couldn't resist...especially since I had a BOGO coupon.  The pig jar was regularly priced $3.99, which was a decent price anyway.  $1.99 was a total steal!

The tray was the first thing I picked up.  I just thought it was so pretty, and the price was unheard of for what it is.  I think it might be plated in real gold!

It's hand painted, but all of the other markings have faded off.  Too bad.  After deciding on the tray for sure, I bought the pig to make use of my aforementioned coupon.

I just like kitschy retro stuff from Japan, especially when it's $2 or less!  Too bad that doesn't have markings either, I like having more info on my finds.

Score!!  I knew the purse was amazing quality when I felt how gorgeous the leather was.  Their purses retail for $2000+! It's hard to tell from the picture, but some of the panels are actually patent leather.




I actually wasn't super crazy about it, but since the design was interesting (and the quality was wonderful) I bought it.  The cashier totally thought it was underpriced, I saw her double checking the markings.

The Moschino was the last thing I found.  It was more than I wanted to pay, but I have a soft spot for that brand.  It's my first tie!  I thought the print was way too feminine for any guy to wear.

The H&M top...well, it was new with tags, my size, and I thought the style was really great.  I'm totally happy with it, what a great deal!

The piggy bank was just too cute to pass up.  If it's cute, vintage, and pink, I'm probably going to buy it.  I hesitated a bit because this was made in China (so I wasn't sure of its age), but it was cheap enough so I got it.

I don't know why I bought this.  I normally see lots of cute kitschy stuff that's easy to pass up, but this wasn't one of them!

It being pink had a lot to do with it.....I love that colour!  Plus, the dog is just so cute with it's open mouth...and hat...with a rose on it...you can see why I bought it!  There were just too many adorable things going on.

And the pose...I could probably use it as a book stand (for light ones of course).

Too bad the paint job is so sloppy!  It kind of bugs me.

I went to the dollar store on a whim...truthfully, I wanted to see if they had any more awesome belts!

They didn't, but they had this instead...which I found just as awesome.  It was the second last one they had (and the other was out of package) so I took it as a sign.  I haven't seen this at any of the other ones!

Ah, Value Village.  I didn't want to pay this much, but the purse is so gorgeous!  Too bad it's stained and the rhinestones are falling off.

When I got home, I found out they were having a half off sale in TWO days!  I wonder if this would have still been there..

I see those campy Japanese figures all of the time, but I have no real use for figures.  These ones were salt shakers - different story!  If they're neat and they have a function, it's likely they come home with me.

I don't really like the birds, but they were in the same bag as the deer.  I'd rather have more deer.

I only picked up the heart shaped box because it was made by that company.  I definitely wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't musical.  The last one I bought was a way better deal, but I like things that are a chrome gold.

The cameo came in a bag of frames that I'll probably re-donate.  I was undecided, but thought I might as well for two bucks.

Turns out I did alright in this haul. The wedding birds go for $10-$15 on eBay and the heart box goes for around $11 in this condition!
