They were having a shopping party with free swag for the first 100 to RSVP. It was kind of out of my way, but I hadn't been to that mall in a while so I decided to go.
Big mistake taking the bus instead of the skytrain-I wasted an extra hour! I didn't end up having time to go anywhere else. I thought the bus was only slightly slower than the skytrain, but it ended up taking six times as long..serves me right for being tempted when the bus pulled in front of me.
I saw some tops at Sirens that I really liked, but I had no time to wait for the huge line up. I really hope I can find them elsewhere.
Leopard teddy: $1.16
Purple lingerie set: $2.25
Purple lingerie set: $2.23
Black lingerie set: $2.66
Blue thong: $.60
Purple lingerie set: $1.25
Purple butterfly thong: $.99
Snoopy underwear: $1.29
Both the first purple lingerie set and the blue thong are the right style, but the wrong colour-the first one was supposed to be black while the thong was supposed to be red. I really wonder if I should bother to complain to the seller since that might get me banned.

Pink polka dot set: $1.99
Long white lace gloves: $.99
Butterfly thong: $1.12
Heart thong: $.55
Red rose thong: $1.12
Clear bra strap: $.01
Pearl cameo bracelet: $1.25
I was pretty happy to get these gloves so cheap. I'm glad I waited, since I had some second chance offers for almost twice the price.
The heart thong is the wrong color-I wonder if I should complain. I already have this color so I'd rather have a different one.
The cameo bracelet is so gorgeous! I wasn't expecting that for the price. I thought I got a great deal, but then I saw that someone else got one for less than half the price! I'm wondering if I should buy another one.
The rose thong was a really nice surprise-I didn't think it would actually come wrapped:
This is what it's supposed to look like unraveled:
But it's so pretty, I don't know if I'll open it :o.

4 x Old Spice bodywash (RSP: $3.44-$5 each)
Old Spice deodorant (RSP: $3)
Old Spice body spray (RSP: $4)
Blackberries: $1.47
4 x Cover girl eyeshadows - bedazzled biscotti - french vanilla - brown smolder - tapestry taupe (RSP: $4.49 each)
$.32 for everything! I love stacking.
Lacey tights: $.99
Floral tights: $2.16
Pink ruffled thong: .99
Black metallic lips thong: $.45
Clear bra strap: $.01
White wedding gloves: $1.77
Purple flower bra strap: $.01
Leopard nightie: $3.25
I actually ended up winning two of the leopard sets-luckily, they ended up being different even though they used the same product image.
This is what the tights look like:
The first one was such a steal! I can sometimes find them for that price in person, but that rarely happens online.
The ones online are much more interesting most of the time, which is why I'm willing to pay a bit more for them. Ironic that the ones I coveted the most ended up being the cheapest.
Gold nightie set: $1.58
Metallic gold halter set: $2.26
The first one was such a steal! I can't believe there were no other bidders...it was the only time I've seen something like that listed from a seller like this.
G-string with train: $2
Blue lingerie set: $2.33Blue halter dress: ?
I just thought the train was so pretty. I haven't seen it offered before which is why I was willing to pay a bit more.
I have no idea where the halter dress came from-it's obviously a mistake, but I'll have to wait a while to see what doesn't show up.
Red lace lingerie set: $1.16
Pink lace lingerie set: $2.25
Now I have a ton of these..I'm really going to have to stop! The only colors I don't have are purple and white, plus I have some multiples of red and black. They're pretty and I keep on seeing them end cheap..

Powder blue sheet set: $9 @ Liquidation World (RSP: $24.97-$49.99)
Floral sheet set: $8 @ Liquidation World (RSP: $29.88+)
Seasons Collection - Egyptian cotton sheet set: $18.88 @ Liquidation World (RSP: $37.77-$54.99)
Blue polka dot cup: $.34 @ Liquidation World (RSP: $.69-$2)
Silver plated bear/star/moon frame: $.98 @ Liquidation World (RSP: $1.97-$3.97)
Since my mom went nuts buying $30 sheets today, I supposed that swayed me a bit. They're not as cheap as I would have liked (considering how much I paid last time) but I haven't seen better pricing elsewhere. Also felt like having more variety in that area.
I don't like buying twin sets because most of them only come with one pillow sham...I use two and hate when they don't match. I'd rather deal with a slightly oversized fitted sheet than the former, and I could always just sew that to fit.
I really didn't want to pay that much for sheets, but I thought it would be worth it for egyptian cotton. I'm sure they're not that great quality, but I don't want to risk being ripped off online. I do wonder what exceptional quality egyptian cotton feels like though.
They had some twin sets, but it was the same sham deal I touched on above-more than that, I wasn't too crazy about the design.
These ones had a gorgeous embossed brocade design so that clinched it. It was a little big stained in some places, but the other ones had been really handled-one had to be taped together so I left that one behind (even though I didn't see any stains).
I considered buying the other one until I noticed all of the hair inside-that was a total turn off! I'm sure it had been repacked and on the floor, so the slightly stained yet neatly packed one won out. I hope egyptian cotton lives up to the hype.
Satin PJ pants: $1 @ Liquidation World (RSP: $2+)
Dereon - frilly bra: $2 @ Liquidation World (RSP: $6.88-$34.88)
Silver plated heart shaped photo frame: $1 @ Liquidation World (RSP: $1.97-$3.97)
Jockey - beige camisole: $1 @ Liquidation World (RSP: $6.88-$12)
Wanted to check out their big liquidation sale-I wasn't disappointed! There were pretty amazing prices all around, but I only picked out what I thought I would use.
The lack of fitting rooms really slayed me this time-none of the clothes fit well! The tank is a bit too tight, as are the pants. The pants really surprised me, they looked like they would have plenty of room!
Not too much of a loss for the price I paid, and I'm sure they'll be alright once I finally lose the extra weight...I suppose they can both serve as a form of motivation.

Black bikini set: $1.04
Red butterfly thong: $.26
Black heart thong: $.57

All off Ebay.
I think the seller sent me the wrong color-I don't remember buying a pink butterfly thong! I did buy a purple one...I'll wait a few days and see what shows up.
I'm getting kind of worried-there are a bunch of things I ordered in February that still haven't arrived! Lots of things I've purchased lately have only arrived in two weeks or less, so I wonder what happened to the earlier ones.

Velvet rosette clutch: $3.99 @ Urban Behavior (RSP: $26.80)
Metal flower/pearl necklace: $1.99 @ Urban Behavior (RSP: $12.80)

White rosette knit gloves: $1.99 @ Urban Behavior (RSP: $6.80)
Physician's Formula - Organic wear jumbo lash mascara: $12.99 @ Shopper's drug mart (RSP: $17.99)
Physician's Formula - 2 in 1 Lash Boosting Serum: $12.99 @ Shopper's drug mart (RSP: $16.99)
It was a pretty good day today. I love that whenever I go to Urban Behavior, there's always something new that I want! The selection changes pretty drastically at that location.
Saw the purses and instantly fell in love! I saw a woman with four of them and assumed she cleared them out. Luckily for me, there was a whole rack of them! There was a definite floral theme for all of the things I bought there.
The Physician's Formula items were for a mail in rebate-I'd never buy them otherwise! They're way too expensive for my tastes, retailing for around $20 each. I basically never buy make up nowadays unless it's free.

Coconut: $.29 (RSP: $1.98)
3 x Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme wear nail polish: free @ Superstore (RSP: $3+ each)
I remember I used to love nail polish with a passion back in high school. I still do, but I haven't really made an effort in a long time.
Well, that's all going to change now! I really couldn't help myself. After the last haul, I was hoping they would restock...I didn't have much hope, but surprisingly, it happened!
One small problem-all of the coupons were gone! I really wish I had the foresight to grab a bunch before I left last time. I just didn't see it coming, they had a lot left...they must have done some serious restocking on the nail polish after I left.
Luckily for me, I had two from the beauty books I grabbed at work. I wish I grabbed a few more, but they were already such a pain in the butt to cut out. I managed to find one lone coupon in a random place so I ended up with 3....had to leave 2 behind (they only had 5 new colours in total).
Today was the last day for it, so that's it for me. Next time I'll start earlier-hopefully I won't be sick either!
They adjusted the coupons, but the overages still went into my coconut. It was supposed to be around $1 since it was half off, but I ended up getting an amazing deal on it. Hooray!
White ruffled babydoll: $2.25
Pink teddy: $2.12
Red lace cheongsam: $2.50
Red/white lace slip: $2.26
All off Ebay.
I'm pretty happy with this lot, especially with the cheongsam in particular. It's got this really gorgeous mandarin collar-I've been trying to win it for a while, so I'm glad I got it for a reasonable price. I bid twice as much on some of the auctions for it in the past!

4 x Dempsters BodyWise bread: free @ McGavin's bread basket RSP: $3+ each)
5 x Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme wear nail polish: free @ Superstore (RSP: $3+ each)
It was a pretty good day today. I pretty much gave up on getting any of that nail polish after I discovered my store had been cleared out-I heard reports that other ones around me had been as well, so I really didn't expect to see any at my usual store today.
Happily, I was wrong! They didn't have much left though, maybe ten in total. I ended up getting one of every shade left....I checked again before I left and they were all gone! I kind of wonder if I could have gotten more if I came a bit earlier.
Not only were they free, I made money because of my discount! I really wish I could have gotten one of each shade like others have (20!), but I'm glad I managed to find these ones at the very least.
The bread was free due to a facebook coupon. It expires in 2 days, but those days can be indefinite in the freezer!
Gathered black lingerie: $2.72
Black bow lingerie: $2.31
Red bow lingerie: $2.36
Red bikini set: $1.12
All off Ebay.
The first three are from the same seller-I really wish I didn't pay as much for the first one. I suppose I was captivated by the pretty picture..it wasn't any better than the ones I usually buy.
I also kind of wish I waited on the other ones as well, since I've seen them go for lower since.

Red chinese halter top: $1.04
Pink chinese halter top: $1.78Red chinese halter top: $2.26
All off Ebay.
Each of the sellers ended up giving a bunch of gifts too-that was a nice surprise! The seller of the first red one gave me a bracelet and a handkerchief-I really love the bracelet! It was so generous of them considering how little I paid.
The other one gave me an extra top. I forgot that I had already won a red one, but luckily they ended up being a bit different-the knotting up top. Surprisingly, the cheaper on ended up being better quality, so I'm hoping to win more from that seller later on.
I won a black one from another seller for $2.30-I really wish I didn't go so high. I've seen a bunch of them end at around a dollar recently!

Leopard nightie: $3.25
Leopard lingerie set: $3.25
White lace gloves: $1.12
Heart/flower necklace: $2.29

The nightie was a nice surprise-it's not as sheer as most of the other ones. Pretty much everything in this lot was better than expected.

Except the pads. I got them for free stacking coupons locally.
I didn't buy the red thong, so I'm wondering which item it was switched with exactly. I bought two items from that seller at the same time, so I'll wait until the other one comes before contacting the seller..

Ruched red gloves: $1.04
Pink satin gloves: $1.04
Leopard bikini set: $4.25
Pink rose bangle: $1.99
Leopard satin kimono: $5.60
Seems to be a recurrent theme lately-really wish I didn't pay so much for the leopard bikini set, as I've seen it go for half that price as of late.
I'm really happy with the kimono though-it's gorgeous! I have seen it go for a bit less than I paid, but it's also gone for much higher at times. It doesn't bother me much.
The bangle is beautiful too, but it's so huge! It kind of makes it look ridiculous.
The gloves look nice, but the quality is cheap. They were worth the price though.
Bow tights: $1.72
Fishnet tights: $1.56
Leopard butterfly bikini set: $1.66
Blue butterfly thong: $.99
Black butterfly thong: $1.12
Black butterfly thong: $.99
Red butterfly thong: $.99
Hot pink butterfly thong: $.99
Pink butterfly thong: $1
The pantyhose was a nice surprise-it was much better quality than expected. Most of the time sellers don't include packaging, so that was unexpected.
The thongs are gorgeous too. I think I've pretty much exhausted most of the butterfly themed options at this point.

Campbell's chunky soup: $1.17 @ Wal Mart (RSP: $2+)
3 x Stayfree pads: free @ Wal Mart (RSP: $4.49 each)
Black lace lingerie: $1.04
Red lace lingerie: $1.29
Cameo ring: $1.59
Winged heart ring: $1.59
Black teddy: $2.26
All off Ebay.
The soup was so cheap because I used my sister's discount card-plus I had overages from the pads.
I wish I didn't pay so much for the above babydoll sets previously-I ended up getting them for half the price several times later! I should probably stop buying them, even though they're gorgeous.
Red lace babydoll: $3.06
Red lace halter: $2.25
Black babydoll: $2.25
Fishnet body stocking: $2.26
Pink bikini set: $1.55
Purple bikini set: $.93
I wish I didn't pay so much for the halter and the purple bikini set-I've seen them go for half that price! Oh well, I'll just be more judicious in the future. I'm pretty sure there's no way I could have gotten them in person for even remotely comparable prices.
Dusty rose lingerie: $2.37
Leopard print lingerie: $4.26
Lace babydoll: $2.25
Red heart babydoll: $2.51
All off Ebay. All from the same seller too!
I kind of wish I didn't buy the leopard one-I've seen it go for half that price since! I also ended up getting another heart set for a bit cheaper later on.
The lace babydoll was a replacement for something that ended up being damaged. Totally worth it, since it rarely goes that low.
Wednesday, March 9, 2011
Black lace lingerie set: $1.91
Pink flower bra strap: $.06
Black lace gloves: $1.54
Striped white tights: $2.26
All off Ebay.
The lace gloves actually ended up being for kids-I should have read the description more carefully! I cut off the tips, and now they're fingerless gloves for me. At least I managed to salvage it a little..
The tights are gorgeous. I really want the ones in black-this is the first time I've seen them in white. This is what they look like:
I'm still hoping to win the above sooner or later.
Monday, March 7, 2011
Stayfree pads: $.10 @ Wal Mart (RSP: $4.49)
Capri leggings: $1 @ EFADS
Embroidered lace bra: $1.25 @ EFADS
The pads were that cheap because I had a coupon-I just paid tax! I can't use that coupon anywhere else because no other store has that as their 'regular' price.
I was surprised to see leggings at the dollar store today-they're short, but the quality seemed decent. I didn't have any at that exact length, so I decided to buy it for the price.
The bra was sort of a whim. They have odd international sizes listed so I'm not quite sure what it is. I just thought it was cute, and maybe I could use it for something.
I didn't know they had items over $1 now. I didn't see signs anywhere-if I knew it was more than a buck, maybe I wouldn't have bought it.

Wool newsboy cap: $2 @ Urban Planet (RSP: $12.50)
Silver heart clutch wallet: $2 @ Urban Planet (RSP: $12.50)
Purple leopard clutch wallet: $2 @ Urban Planet (RSP: $12.50)
Went to see a dear friend today (the last item is a late Christmas present from her!). What was inside:
After getting so many things for dirt cheap at Winners, I'm always hesitant to pay regular 'sale' prices. That's why I don't bother to check out mainstream chains most of the time...
Since my friend wanted to go to Sirens, I tagged along-I'm glad I did! I absolutely fell in love with the above top, I thought it was gorgeous!
They had it in blue and white-the white one was a different style up top (found it kind of ugly) and pretty damaged to boot.
I preferred this style-since I thought red was alright, I ended up getting it. Definitely didn't see myself getting the blue.
Now I'm hoping I can get the exact same style in white at another location...wish me luck!

Pink lace cheongsam set: $5 @ Ebay
Finally, a more expensive set that wasn't a huge letdown! It's beautiful, and I felt like it was worth the price.
From now on (when given the chance) I'll probably wait until I can win a good auction, I've seen a lot that ended for less than what I paid. I basically bought a 'buy it now' with this seller.

Bewild - brown boots: $5 @ Shoe Warehouse (RSP: $69.95+)
Wow, I was starting to think I would never buy anything from Shoe Warehouse again! Not really, but it sure has been a while.
I was so happy to find these today-I wanted them when they were $7.50 during the half off sale, but I could never find them in my preferred size.
Not only were they my size today-they were even cheaper then before! I couldn't snatch them up quick enough, I didn't even other trying them on. I already tried on the size 39's and even those were walkable, so I knew these would be fine.
They're not real suede, but I love how they look! I probably wouldn't ever pass up $5 boots that fit me and look this good. Love the fur detailing!
Thursday, March 3, 2011
Lace slip set: $5.60
Black lingerie set: $2.75
White lingerie set: $2.52
All off Ebay.
I'm really kicking myself for buying the first one-it was so much worse than expected! I didn't think it would be sheer..this was the auction picture:
But it's really cheap and crappy in person. I don't think I would have paid more than two bucks for it if I knew what it actually looked like....
Same with this one:
I paid $6.97-big mistake! It does look as pictured, except it's just cheap costume quality. I would rather have bought a $5 dress from Winner's clearance that I passed up, it's way better than this one and it would have been cheaper!
Oh well, lesson learned. I'm only going to spend a few bucks on clothing I find on Ebay..
